I try to show everyone the beauty and potential of chemistry, while also learning a lot myself.

You do know that molten salt electrolysis exists, right? You could have electrolyzed molten sodium chloride producing chlorine gas and metallic sodium.
Nitroglycerin on Nitrocellulose making TNT Fusion caliber pistol silencer “a large mass turns into a small whole” I loved your channel a miracle that baffled scientists❤🦠⚗️🧞♂️🧞♂️🧞♂️🧞♂️🧞♂️🧞♂️🪶👍🏿🏃🏿♂️🏃🏿♂️🏃🏿♂️🏃🏿♂️🧠🧠🫀🫁😤💫💥
Sulphuric acid is never distilled or produced in that purify or concentration because of the Azeotrope that Sulphuric acid forms with Water in the air. It most concentrated for is rarely ever Anhydrous or above 96-98% concentration. So claiming 99% points towards potential issues regarding the understanding of the Organic Chemistry involved, and the resulting product
I just made two kilos of sodium acetate. It took a while to boil down four gallons of solution. But I got a good yield. I need 1000ml glacial acetic acid for my next project.
Seems like the easy way would be to replicate the ancient way. Mercury has been extracted from cinnabar rocks for thousands of years. Either place the cinnabar in a kiln or pulverize it in a copper mortar/pestle along with some sulphuric material and a weak acid. Viola
I once had about 4 liquid oz of mercury, about 5 or 6 pounds. And I experimented with it for years, submersed my bare fingers in it countless times, I never got sick.
Nice! How about a video showing how to make phosphorescent Calcium Sulfide? That'd be interesting because pure CaS isn't phosphorescent but (impure) CaS, from egg and oyster shells, is. You can discuss that "phosphorescent" doesn't mean Phosphorus is present and how various doping elements enhance the effect.
I really enjoyed your chemistry video on how to extract sodium metal from baking soda. The only problem for me was that the narrator was speaking too fast with an accent that was difficult for me to understand. I’d actually have to go back and listen to it two or three times in order to catch everything that was said.
