Hiya, my name is Blake and this is a channel dedicated to all this tabletop gaming!
I am by no means a pro, but I love sharing this hobby with other people and hope that seeing my failures and successes will help you get started on your next awesome project!
I also don't have really much of space in my office/hobbyspace and was looking for something like you, but in the end, I really did a simple DIY project. Not like Knarb's ones. I bought two grey coated 2cm MDF board 95x190cm at my local hardware store and even had the option to let them coat the rim - which of I course I took! From the same store I bought two sets of removable and height adjustable table legs and then my DIY part started: I screwed the legs into the corners (with 2cm spacing from the edges). Donzo. Solid table, height can be adjusted and I could also hide it under my bed, but I have a gap between one of my shelf and wall and it's gone. Of course, the only annoying stuff are the eight legs. Currently I just threw them between my office table leg and the wall. Looks terrible but ... meh, it's my office, so I don't care. Edit: Checked the prices again. 36€ for both table leg sets and 53€ per board. So, yeah. Still 142€ total.
Looks so good!!! I'd be really keen to see what they look like painted too! I'm about to start a Night Lords army myself, so if anyone has any list building advice for them I'd really appreciate it!
I moved into an unfurnished apartment last year and bought a second hand coffee table in which I placed all my paints, brushes and the minis I’m currently painting. I have a cutting mat that I use to protect the table when I paint, but due to using an airbrush, some of the paint got on the table. I remember that the first time this happened, I was thinking “man…the landlord is gonna be mad” Then I remembered that it was my table 😁
I would still recommend it or at least do it outside. Since it's cosplay you're using more paint than us miniature painters and I feel it's crucial to not breathe all that in.
This was a great video, I think it's incredibly brave to openly talk about "Fear" in this way. I always thought I was scared of flying but I realized it was the same fear I felt before getting a needle. It is a sobering reminder of how fear/OCD can impact your life.
Thanks for beeing in my recommended. This was exactly what i needed (some adjustments had been made becasue i liive in the NL) but i speded about 10 euro total to get everything (excluding magnets) many thanks. my models and logistics smile everytime i see the box wiith the orginised units
this video hits different. thank you so much for sharing! I also find a lot of peace in this hobby, I wish you the best in your healing journey, you are stronger than you think !
I actually stumbled across these cases, and combined with my 3D printer, i've been using the large container with multiple shelves to great success. Thanks for the tip on the straps though!
Yes they can, but only like 2-3 in the large one! They have an even bigger box if you have you have a bunch of knights. Fits 6 questoris or 8 armigers. www.joann.com/super-stacker-17.5in-x-14in-clear-plastic-file-storage-box/18101006.html
This is awesome! I use the knock boxes from Sam's but they only have small and large, super stoked to find where to get mediums with the bonus organizer. I use flexible magnetized sheets from Total Element, which are very cheap but dont have as strong as a bond to magnets as the galvanized steel, so definitely going to try that too. Glad to have found your channel!
