I make videos talking about games, too. Do you like weird ladies with a borderline inappropriate sense of humor that love video games, Warhammer 40k, and nerd stuff? Great! Subscribe. We're gonna get along famously.
The hardest part of some of these penances is that they have to be completed in a private match, and cannot be done without friends/invitations. I feel like more people would have these things if they were opened up to public matches.
Blood for the Emperor, Skulls for the Golden Throne. Hearing loss must be a requirement for being an Atoma Inquisitor. Or Grendel's Grimoire collection needs auditing...
Ma’am, I am an officer for the ministry of truth and I’m going to have to send you to a reeducation camp for this illegal FAKE information. Anyone seeing this, everything she is saying is false and if you believe it we will have to detain you and reeducate you
Hey Jo - they've explicitly said all weapons will carry over exactly as they are today, with the exception that the modifier percentages on blessings may change (since they are tweaking that system). So if your blessing adds 14 bleed stacks on a crit, it might change down to 10 bleed stacks, but you will still have the Tier 4 blessing on your weapon. They announced this pretty recently, so after you made this video :).
Idk how your comment fell through the cracks for me, I'm so sorry! But yeah, that wasn't lost on me. I guess maybe it could be explained that you can't just go on shore leave from the destroyers? Meh? Idk, feels like another point in the favor of "it's somewhere else WAY far away."
I’d like to address one of the end theories - the automaton brain theory. The camps where the dead are being kept are not removing the brains specifically, they are breaking off and rudimentarily grinding up body parts. Do you ever wonder why Automatons don’t just release oil upon death? Well that’s because they’re not fully using oil, anymore, they’re most likely using humans as biofuel.
They are absolutely using the brains. Automatons have WAY too many remnant human qualities to be completely programmed, it makes no sense. Why program your robots to do marching chants? Why make them scream when you kill them? If they are full of "biofuel" (blood), this actually reinforces the idea they probably have organic brains powering them as well, because blood flow to the brain is non-negotiable to its function.
@@Jo.Plays.Games. Well, I can try address both of these points; the “remnant” qualities that are present are actually mimicked behaviour of their cyborg creators - the cyborgs at best when it came to their mental state were “whacked” at best and deranged at worst; creating the automatons in the image of self-sustaining war-machines who’s loyalty would only be to the vision that is the Cyberstan cause. When constructing the Automatons, they set out to create what is effectively a group orientated consciousness, they designed their synthetic “children” around the unity and prosperity of the whole, and Cyberstan to the Cyborgs IS this “whole”. I can’t really pinpoint tell you exactly why the automatons specifically chant about ‘New Cyberstan’ in the way that they do as there could be a manner of reasons that the Cyborgs or Automatons would develop this - it may even be a kink of their processors repeating, Automatons were constructed with Super Earth bits and bobs - scrap technology that is shared with Super Earth tutorial bots. If I’m honest I don’t think it will be explained. As for the screaming and shouting, often times when Automatons do this it’s all an intimidation factor - which is why we see berserkers and certain hulk types with human skulls on their frames. This goes hand in hand with the cyborgs who were quite barbaric as a whole in their cybernetic enhancements. What I’m saying at the bottom line is that Automatons are not a human consciousness, but a synthetic one - with one enforced difference from a human consciousness; an equilibrium to destroy all inequality to benefit the whole. Obviously none of this can disprove the automaton brain theory, it’d be pretty hard to convince anyone that it’s not the case because quite frankly it just seems so obvious from a top-down perspective that this is the case. In the end what needs to be explained will be done within the details regarding the New Cyberstan plot-line and the yet to be fully disclosed database-one information.
As for the biofuel, it remains as just that; the cyborgs are innovators, and engineering more effective ways to ration precious resources like oil during the war is totally in their nature. Biofuel can be thought of as a pass-along solution that would likely be dropped or replaced after Super Earth is subdued.
When I in list I am heading to the most god damn planet that is infested with bugs and bots AND FIGHT FOR OUR DEMOCRACY GOD BLESS SUPER EARTH FELLOW HELL DIVERS!
Considering x 45 was inhabitable due to radiation most lily caused by a nuclear war with the cyborgs there who isn’t to say that old earth was simply to irradiated and had to be left for a hundred years or so before the radiation levels stabilized and we got back to normal earth
Because supposedly construction of the mega cities began not long after whatever war happened pre-2044. Supposedly, humanity has been living on "Old Earth" this whole time. ....Supposedly.
@@Jo.Plays.Games. in helldivers 1 or 2 it says that humanity had a nuclear war with themselves and from the ashes came super earth considering the helldivers 1 super earth doesn’t match up with real earth it’s possible the planet was uninhabitable and they moved it could also explain why the helldivers 1 sectors are more of a super sector than in hd2
I think that Mega City 7 had no visible lights because at first, the Sun's shine blocked vision of it, and by the time you can see the region, it's day, so there would be no reason for lights to be on. It's probably also in-world CGI. I think that in HD1 you canonically win, at least because it would be more convenient. To be honest, at least two of the ship crew people have voicelines confirming they have never been on Super Earth. The decoy Super Earth is a possible scenario however. Super Earth probably still exists, but its location is probably just secret. This is all hypothetical, the Ministry of Truth would never lie to us, it's literally called the Ministry of *Truth*.
The one problem with the "no lights" due to sun rise is that the first several frames of the clip are in total darkness and it's STILL not there. I honestly think New York is just....gone. I think you're right that it's in-world CGI. Especially since like, they likely wouldn't kill a woman and child just for a commercial? Maybe??? I also agree that if Super Earth won the first galactic war, that would match up and be more convenient for what we "know" in Helldivers 2, buuuuutttttttt.......I'm not so convinced. For....reasons I'll make another video about in the future.
I dont know why they can't just copy paste the system from vermintide, it was perfect, it was rewarding and encourages the player to try out more weapons in higher difficulties. I spent a few extra hundreads of hours for that fact alone, but everytime I go back to darktide it's such a let down to see that the crafting and items are not fixed.
That's *kind of* what they're doing. The new system is going to be a lot like the weave crafting from Winds of Magic. However, you're still going to get to buy or receive powered up weapons, and taking profane weapons to Hadron and rolling them up to orange will still exist. In my opinion, this is going to be the best of the current system and Vermintide 2's crafting smashed together. Players who have stacks of materials and dockets to the ceiling can still brute force out a good weapon right away when new weapon families are added to the game, so they can't complain. But now EVERYONE will get consistent results with control over their weapons and no stupid artificial ceiling by locking off weapons at two changes to either blessings or perks. I am DYING for this patch to drop.
I had a voice line in game once with Morrow and my reject. He asked about the Chaos Space Marines and what would happen if they came for a fight. Morrow replied discussing that they're sitting upon the edge of the system for now, but if they were to move in the campaign would be entirely lost, as they don't have the voidcraft to combat them or strength against the astartes on the ground.
I have been sitting here and thinking about this and here are some points of possible interest. 1. The map we received may not have been a lie, but it could be so outdated to the point that what we are looking at is the map of possibly HD1 Super Earth before or during the 1st Great Galactic War. I strongly believe that one Super Earth logo we see in the intro is probably some sort of cheap badge as every other logo of Super Earth in HD2 has the Mediterranean Sea on it. (P.S I realized that Ireland and Denmark are missing too) 2. The position of Mega City 7 might have been accurate back then, but maybe it got destroyed during a possible siege of Super Earth and moved the civilians over towards the great lakes. After the siege they could have decided to just keep the population there since they built a bunch of the infrastructure to deal with all the civilians and it became what we see in the intro. 3. It could also be possible that what we see in the intro isn't Super Earth, but just some random planet that is very Earth-like and so was good enough to use for this propaganda piece. 4. The defeat scene could possibly be using Old Earth in reference to the the planet that just got destroyed while Super Earth could have been referring the government. It could also be that they were still referring to the planet as Super Earth until that moment when they were going out to find their New Earth in which case it became the Old Earth to them. I also am led to believe that we ended the 1st Great Galactic War in one go in canon because if we didn't we would probably be referring to current HD2 war as the 139th Galactic War or call the 1st war in more broad terms like campaign or conflict.
