Happy Birthday @JimLiElevators ! For Jim's Birthday, I figured we should Celebrate by riding one of the MOST AMAZING Elevators I rode on this trip, that also happens to now be the 3rd or 4th OLDEST Elevator I've EVER ridden in my life! And the best part is, this elevator also happened to be in the EXACT SAME BUILDING the Airbnb I stayed at was in! All of the Main Elevators in this building have been modded at least twice at this point, but this elevator remains FULLY ORIGINAL from when this building was built all the way back in 1896 making this 128 YEARS OLD!!! Unfortunately, the inner gate on this elevator is broken and I'm going to assume this elevator was slowed down because of that and as you can see, this thing goes pretty slow, but considering the fact this is an ORIGINAL Elevator from the 1890s, WHO CARES!?!? You can also look up the shaft on this thing and the Motor is pretty incredible too! All in all a very great find and made staying in this building well worth it! Hopefully this thing continues to stay original for MANY more years to come and even if it may go very slow now, I'll take that if that means this thing will continue to run in its original state for the foreseeable future!
