I need a detailed template for a '55 Buick FENDER MOUNT. Any idea where to find one? Unity only has minimum instructions. They have "A" Pillar detail but I need the fender mount. H-E-L-P.
I bought some medallion oil and my lantern decided to act like an old torch. It started flickering and the fumes made it burn brighter, I turned the wick down into the tube and it was still burning super high like fumes were being released. I thought the lamp was going to explode
R-129? WTF? A few seconds into the video. I ran 90% propane, 10% butane in my Jeep twenty years ago. Brazed up a couple of adapters. At the time there was a huge amount of interest and information on the intertubes about this because of the increasing difficulty to get R-12 at a decent price. When R-12 was outlawed, owners of old cars went into a tail spin based on a lot of misguided "expert" opinion. The biggest one was that you have to change every hose and o-ring to compatible rubber compounds. What no one counted on was that the original mineral oil lube coated all the parts so that they didn't leak. R-134a needed a different rubber to avoid leaks.
Please call me stupid ill really appreciate it lol- in 1979 I was young and stupid ( and like they say now I'm old and stupid) I had an opportunity to buy a new car or truck and I went to the 1979 trans am t tops , instead of a Toyota land cr. Or a full size van with everything in from refrigerator to folding bed or even a corvette or go cheaper and more reliable like a Toyota or Honda or vw bug convertible or the vw van but I didn't, today we have seen how much the Toyota 79 land cr. Have got very collectibles, as if that's not stupid enough for my decisions I even let go of a beautiful girlfriend I dated back then. Oh lord if I could only have a time machine lol.
I was 13 and remember how impressive the new ZJ was. It became a game changer in the Luxury SUV market just as the 1984 Jeep XJ was. Iv owned every Grand Cherokee model throughout my life they have all been great vehicles including my current 22 WL Limited. Where other manufacturers have ruined their designs over time it seems the Grand Cherokee has always been kept Sacred and always remained a handsome design. ZJ, WJ, WK, WK2, WL. I tell everyone as I'm known as a Grand Cherokee guy. "I take my Grand Cherokee on the trail to go Hunting and follow up with Dinner in Manhattan". Just a great all around SUV"
The good old days when you made your car faster because you couldn't buy over 250 net horsepower out of a showroom. You were proud of your work, instead of your money. They sounded A LOT better too.
I have a 2001 ford explorer sports trac and I would like to know where can I find the new key fob that you got off eBay for the new key fob that folds up and has the built in fob on its case and will it start up my truck without being inside my truck after it is programmed into the new folded front with built in key fob so I don’t have to keep all those fobs on my key chain…
can you leave it connected when you start the engine? Can anything bad happen if you start the car/truck while the charger is still conencted to the battery and the 120V outlet?
This was very helpful. Locksmith tried to charge upwards of 200.00 for cutting the keys alone. Not including programming. Told me the switchblade keys would not work. Here I am with 5.00 dollars worth of cut keys and them all programmed to the lock, unlock, panic and they all start the truck too! I had both original keys however Just to summarize. Because I hit a couple snags 1. Cut the keys 2. Program the fobs using the 8 cycle method. 3. Use the 10 cycle method to get the key to start the ignition. Remote start is installed but I still need to activate it with the Forscan tool. I do not know if it will work since it wasn't active when I did the keys. I may also try to reprogram them after it's enabled if it doesn't work. Thanks again I hate people that take advantage of others for a simple procedure. Saved me some $$$
Hey this was really cool, Aaron, thank you. I really learned exactly what I need to know. Thank you for making the demonstration clear and simple to follow.
249 is the superior case.. never understood why people go from a 249 to a 242.. or 231... mainly because of bad viscous couplers.., spend the money replace the viscous coupler if its bad... Even if its bad, 249 is still superior... 242 is basically 1wd if one tired is spinning say in the air youre stuck... the 249 doesnt do that. Also the 249 is 10-90% for the later years not 60-40... the 93-95 249 has no low lock, the 96-98 249 does, and the 5.9 249 is stronger.. The 93-96 249's also use different viscous couplers.. the 97-98s are different. There is a reason the part numbers are diff for the 97-98s because the torque split is 10-90 on those
I can run all Coleman appliances on JET-A fuel, and my truck too! $5/gal from the small airport near me. They'll sell to anyone. Check if your local small airport has a credit card pump (most do) And put it in a colored (yellow for me) 5 gal container. Burns Real clean.
