I’ve been struggling with Emily in Paris. I was so excited for it to come back too but I am not a fan of how much French they are speaking and that’s keeping me from watching it. 😢
I'm in Western NC and that's how we are right now. I don't think the wind is supposed to get bad right where I am but there was some bad "tornado" like winds not far from me yesterday (pics online of what looked like tornadoes) but we are getting flooded all around and the rain isn't supposed to let up any time soon. I also monitored my ovulation for months! My doctor ended up giving me clomid, it didn’t work. Then we did an HCG shot- I found out I was pregnant two weeks later! I would ask about it!!

Hey Amanda. I’m at my heaviest and I really want to do something about it. I’m considering intermittent fasting, but I’m not sure what time to start my fast or end my fast. Along with that healthy eating is a bit tricky for me cuz I like to eat sugar (I’m ashamed to admit it) any advice?
I think starting small is so important so intermittent fasting should be 16 hours from last you eat until you eat again and the time frame is while you sleep mostly. For sugar if your comfortable with it sugar free is a great option and fruit with pudding etc :) it can be overwhelming but small habits add up!

I truly love your videos Amanda, and I love the cooking content, you always give me such good ideas for recipes. I just wanted to offer some of my professional advice, I am a medical esthetician at a doctor’s office where we focus on helping clients with weight loss. We always tell our clients that exercise is so important. It’s 80/20. 80% exercise and 20% diet. You can diet and eat healthy and it will help you lose weight and not gain weight but when you need to burn fat you have to get your heart rate elevated for a minimum of 30 minutes a day. I have been watching you for years and I know how hard you try and I hope this does not come off badly at all because I really don’t mean it too. I just want you to be successful in your journey and I think you would start to see a significant difference if you started to integrate more into your routine.
@@valpal4869 when it comes to health, yes nutrition is very important, but when it comes to destroying fat, exercise is what is going to do that, and it’s not unsolicited advice. It’s me caring about her and wanting what’s best for her. If she wants to reach her goals, that’s what it’s going to take. Like I said, it is literally my job to educate people who are looking to lose a significant amount of weight. As soon as my patients starts adding in consistent exercise is when they start seeing a difference in their body. ☺️ And to Amanda- there is so many ways to get in that exercise weather that be walking a few miles a day, jogging/running, weightlifting, Pilates, yoga, Zumba, swimming. Just find whatever works best for you and that you enjoy. That is key.
I totally agree exercise is a huge part not just for weight loss but overall health especially as we age!!! I do exercise often I just don’t film it because typically I’m sweating and don’t like how I look / flattering. I don’t exercise every single day though and that’s something I can work on for sure 💚
I love this comment I was going to say the same thing. Lifting weights has helped me so much these last few months. I'm really noticing a difference in my body. I have endometriosis and am in pain alot of the time but I try to lift weights 3 days a week and get other excercise in at least 2 more days for the week having 2 days to rest if I need. Maybe showing that content will motivate u even more to do it and share if it has helped u or not Amanda!!!
