There are 3 games that released in NTSC and PAL territories and actually work just fine with the PocketStation (the minigames/features for these are actually localized): FFVIII, Ridge Racer Type 4 and Saga Frontier More than that, Chocobo World is covered extensively in the PAL manual for FFVIII, with a small mention in the beginning that “The PocketStation may not be available outside of Japan”
I don't know if you'll see this considering its been a few years but if you enjoyed this game my friends and I have been working on a successor to it called Bomberman Tower, it features several playable characters from the series with their own unique playstyles, event missions for holidays or special occasions, and a roguelite structure so each run you play is different from the last, there's even a full color retro style manual that can be printed out for that old school charm. If you'd like to check it out just google Bomberman Tower it should be the first thing that comes up, there's a unique charm to this game and many other Bomberman titles so I figure it may be good to raise awareness. Fun review too, fun fact Bomberman started out as a recolored sprite of a generic robot enemy from the NES port of Lode Runner, and in his NES debut he was a robot trying to become human, the series would reboot itself on PC-Engine and this entry in 1990 would set most of the standards for the series to come in the future and in it Bomberman and Black Bomber are two robots created by a scientist to preserve peace, but Black Bomber has a malfunction and kidnaps the scientists' daughter, springing Bomberman into action. there is no real lore bible with Bomberman some entries work off previous ones others do whatever they want but Bomberman himself is interestingly enough either always identified as a robot or the subject matter doesn't comment on it, however there are human characters introduced throughout the series and well when you stand them next to Bomberman it kinda speaks for itself he is not. Hopefully that helps you a bit.
Front light is ideal. That way you can keep the old screen that is ideal for playing in sunlight. The image is especially great outdoors when it's cloudy. If you can turn the front light off like with the SP you save a ton of batteries as well. I really love the old lcd that kinda forces you to go outside.
Read the books, mate! There’s an entire chapter titled: Strider. In any event, I believe the film slides had 27 variants not that there were 27 figures.
I have one near mint condition. I turned it on and Pikachu loads up, but maybe the enter button isn't working because nothing I press changes the screen 🥲
My mom is a huge Star Trek fan, she really loves voyager, ended up getting her every season in a collection on dvd and I love watching it with her from time to time
I don’t remember DZ Discover zone, the happening parties were ether at Chuck E. Cheese or this pizza place that had arcade games and prizes and stuff. (So also like Chuck E. Cheese but had way better food and more variety)
Bruh DS9 is good, I never said it wasn't but it's not my favorite. I enjoyed VOY waaaaaaaaaay more than DS9. Just accept it lol 😂 youre not gonna change my mind.
@@TheNerdLair I'm not trying to change your mind... Just saying that even though I love TNG waaaaaaaay more than DS9, I can admit that DS9 is objectively a better show
after replacement is your button make the clicking sound when being pressed like the original? I replaced mine but now the clicking sound is no more, it feels like pressing on a rubber now. It works though, but not comfortable
