My problem with an aftermarket screen right now is that I'm not able to see it clearly through polarized glasses that I also need for driving. Can you confirm your screen's capabilities in this regard?
My question is, is this an actual headunit or a tablet with extra trimmings. The question is really centered around how unit will handle extreme heat, i.e. desert climates. Is there a battery that would be at risk of explosion or expansion? What considerations have been made to integrate with vehicles with the premium sound options, how does the unit play with the noise cancellation options?
That's a ton of sound! The Ford Mustang Sync 3 and Sync 2 versions do not have RCA outputs for amplifiers, however if you want RCA outputs for amplifiers you can get the Non-Sync version. You will lose your sync system should you choose to go down the Non-Sync path.
@WorkshoptwelveConnect Hey, looks like great product, was curious how it gets internet for Google or RU-vid, Netflix ect, could I use Hotspot or what is needed.
No question is a dumb question! Yes our kit is compatible with every version of the 350z, including the navigation version however there are more steps to the installation for the navigation version. For the bundles they are collaborations with various content creators. The bundles have everything you will need for installation.
Consisering buying this along with the tesla screen. Before I buy I would like to know how long is the reverse camera cable? I have a crew cab with a 6.5ft bet and a camper shell so I have quite a long run. Also does the mirror support larger sd cards like 128 or even 256?
The camera wire is 17 feet. Now the largest SD card our smart mirror can take is 32GB however the memory gets rewritten every once in awhile so the SD card is never out of space.
I understand your concern about the size. Our goal is to offer a Tesla-style screen that provides a premium experience while fitting seamlessly into your Jeep Grand Cherokee. We appreciate your feedback and are constantly working to ensure our products meet our customers' needs. If you have any further questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out!
We do not have a kit for that year however send us an email at info@workshoptwelve.com with the Make, model, year and trim of your vehicle with a picture of your dash and we will see if we can find a kit that fits your needs.
Our Jeep unit does not retain the performance page, however it will allow you to still adjust air ride and all of the other vehicle settings. You can always connect an OBDII scanner and get all the live data right on the screen!
I got one of those units for my 2017 F150 Lariat. After watching a few presentations I have realized that the unit supposed to show a door ajar icon when you open the door. But mine doesn’t do it. Also if I try to use the units radio I don’t get any sound from it.
Hi There! I recommend sending an email to where you bought the kit from. If you bought the kit from us, then send us an email to info@workshoptwelve.com with your order number and we will be more than happy to assist you :)
The unit itself does not have SRT pages, however the unit will allow you to still change the vehicle settings that you can change in your current original system. You can also add an ELM OBD-II Bluetooth scanner that will show you a ton of your vehicles internal diagnostics as well as allow you to clear up engine codes directly on the screen.

why no screws at the bottom? you pushed the unit in with the factory trim above the ashtray and it seems like its flopping around. why not just use the screws at the bottom? this and the gloss black seem janky to me. looks like it never actually seated.

I was signing into my SirusXM app today for the first time. I have the app installed and I forgot my phone for the apple CarPlay. It was before or after I can’t remember but it asked me if I wanted a pin on my screen. I opted to do it (not sure why the hell I did). When turning the truck on now the screen has the keypad to input my password. It’s the dumbest thing ever! Before my apple CarPlay would just come on automatically but now it asks me for my pin to unlock the screen.. Any idea what I can do? Thank you
