Hi, I'm Stacey and my mission in life is to help make the world a healthier, happier place through food, fitness and mindset inspiration.
I'm a full time ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Health Coach.
I started the Autoimmune Protocol back in November 2015 and was finally able to put my celiac disease, leaky gut, and chronic fatigue into full remission after years of frustrating doctor visits that left me feeling like a hypochondriac. I also suffered from alopecia, anxiety and brain fog which I control through diet and lifestyle.
At age 43 I am the healthiest, fittest and happiest I have ever been in my life and I'd love to help you accomplish the same!
The AIP in Real World AIP doesn't just stand for "Autoimmune Protocol", it stands for "Anything Is Possible"!

I tried this bread. Bought the groats (1.5lb at $15.99), put everything together, carefully followed along with the video several times to get it right. Bread rose wonderfully and looked amazing. Waited until the next morning and cut into the loaf. To my absolute surprise - this was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever put into my mouth. I am not looking for a direct replacement for real bread. I know it’s not going to taste the same, but I cannot believe this tastes so bad and a lot of you are sitting here saying it’s great. It’s not great. I feel like I was catfished into cooking and eating this monstrosity. Everyone who says this has become a staple in their home cannot be trusted. This went straight to the chickens and the chickens barely even touched it. Given the fact that the cost was around $14 to make, that pisses me off even more. To everyone wanting to try this: just don’t even try. If you’re having a hard time finding a bread replacement, maybe consider that it’s just not going to work and just don’t eat bread.
Funny thing...I don't like ketchup, but due to Sjogrens I need extra moisture for dishes so I'd use the ketchup for fries. I can no longer use tomatoes (finally gave in to giving them up due to GERD and Sjogrens/Lupus)...so no more salsa to help with moisture for when I make certain dishes. I found out that Norine's Nomato ketchup had a similar taste/texture to salsa, so I found a ketchup I was okay with! This also makes me think it's the sweetness of commercial ketchup that always turns me off. I admit I take recipes from different anti-inflammatory/elimination diets and allow some favourite dishes, just edited for my restrictions. I'm glad I came back to this. I'll try it in the next month or so. I initially came back here looking for ketchup for meatloaf!
This sounds terrific! I want to make this! I have a recipe that calls for using nut pulp for brownie bites. And it calls for coconut butter. I’m going to make this today. Just curious, what does.AIP stand for? I eat low-carb.
I cannot thank you enough for your channel and recipes! Your recipes are so creative and I particularly appreciate that you use the whole fruit rather than a plantain flour. I made these today using what I had, which was just green plantains. But the recipe still worked beautifully! I added vanilla, cinnamon, and a touch of black locust honey to the dough for a sweet flavor profile. Baked the flatbread and it came out delicious! So satisfying, so easy, so delicious with tea for breakfast! I love love love the chewy, mochi-like texture!!
Just made this sauce. It is literally "awesome sauce"! Haven't had marinara in nearly a decade because of a tomato allergy. Nice to have this one in my recipe book now. It is one of those recipes to start earlier in the day as the whole meal, the spaghetti and the sauce took a few hours to prepare from end to end. Sat down to my first spaghetti meal in many years at nearly midnight, but it was *so* worth it! Thanks!
I always come back to this video 4 years later to remind me how you cook your salmon. So good and easy for meal prep! Going to buy the parchment paper tomorrow!
Very inspiring. Alopecia is no fun at all. I lost all my hair at 11 to Alopecia universalis. Everything was gone, the head, eyebrows, eyelashes, arms and legs, totally hairless. At 18 is started to come back in patches here and there. At 42 I have eyebrows, eyelashes, beard but my head has always been thin and patchy. Very little hair on arms and legs. Funny to hear you use the word freak. I recently wrote about my experience and the word freak kept coming out of me. I didn’t realize how much humiliation and emotional pain I have been living with for most of my life over this until I decided to write about it. But hearing your story is so beautiful, just to know there are others out there who understand how traumatic and confusing and scary this can be. Thank you for sharing
