Hi there and welcome to the Tactical Magfed channel. I’m Rob “aka Boris” and I have created this channel to answer all the questions I have had over the years related to magfed paintball tips, gear reviews and how to guides.
My aim is to help you see what gear is out there and how best to make your magfed Paintball experience as immersive and realistic as possible. I try to take some of the ideas from the “Real Steel” channels and integrate them into the magfed world to see what works.

I know it’s already been said but slide removal is not a problem if you follow the included manual. It’s necessary anyway should you wish to change over the mag release for left handers. Again this is shown in the manual.
Hi there in terms of Comms they work great, no problems at all. In terms of noise reduction for flash bangs etc they are about 80% effective. Your ears are pushed against the side of the mask and are not in the ear cup of the headset so it's not 100% but it does reduce the noise. Hope that helps 😎👍

Hi there, I use a replica surefire x300 light and a blackhawk omnivore holster. I can use the same Holster with all my Umarex pistols, just by adding the x300. Hope that helps 😎👍
Hi there, Umarex mount the sights differently to the real Walther models. I don't think this would work for you on that model. You would need a gunsmith to CNC an insert or advise on a solution. Hope that helps 👍
Hi there, I prefer the high cut for paintball it is easier to get the helmet, mask and headset setup. I haven't used a mid or low cut version but it looks like the headset would need to be under the helmet and I haven't managed to get that to work with my setup. Thanks for watching 👍
Nice + I really like the design of the magazine. It’s just too bad it's .43 cal, which makes it a no go for me for non-lethal defense or paintball game use, however, I totally get it was designed to be authentic for LE & Military training. That said, if they offered a .50 or .68 calber version, I'd buy a couple in a heartbeat!!
got a red dot, should I change the front sights? Can you even change the front? I got oem glock tritium and a high profile Trijicon tritium sights I could maybe install
@TacticalMagfed just tried, it's a Phillips vs the hex type on a oem glock front sight screw, so I thought just use the t4e screw with the glock night sight... diffrent threads, didn't want to force fir it
There is a guy on RU-vid that has a 3d printable piece you can buy from him for 3 dollars that is made for this particular marker, I just installed my red dot today and it's a lot easier than this. Type into Google how to Walther ppq m2 optic install and look at the 4 minute you tube video that comes up. I figured I would share that with all of you, it cost me 25 dollars to get 3 pieces printed and you can actually use the screw that holds the original site in to put the plate on.

@@scottd7615 hi there, if your v1's are working without any issues I wouldn't bother. If you have a full auto setup and need to increase your bps then v2's would be better. I love my v1 mags. Hope that helps 👍
I thought I had to remove the slide. To unscrew the sight with the 2 screws. But having problems to get the slide off. Just won‘t come off no matter how hard I try.
Great video, I have one of these and I really want to get into mag fed paintball but I struggle to find places close to me in the uk when I search online 😢
That's a tough one to answer. It used to be accepted that .43 cal pistols would chrono high. You can get the FPS down by firing of 10 shots or so. Some sites may still allow you to do this, but a recent event required and FPS of under 300 with a fresh co2. Some of the umarex pistols couldn't get under. There is no velocity adjustment on the umarex pistols, hope that helps 👍

I just added a UUQ RDS to my M&P9 T4E, no filing was necessary to get the UTG dovetail plate mounted, only a few light taps with a punch pin. The RDS fit perfectly. Waiting for my off brand Surefire X300 rail light to arrive to add that as well.
Hi there, there is no off the shelf kit to fit a red dot on the PPQ. I had to modify the pistol to fit this one. Hi there, the original release of this pistol was a limited edition. The limited edition came in a genuine Glock case and had Glock back straps. After the initial limited edition release came the general release which came with a standard Umarex pistol case. In my video I had the limited edition, others may have had to wait for the standard version. Hope that helps 😎 👍

Has anyone had any firing issues? My t4e gen 5 will fire the 1st round but not the 2nd or 3rd. It's not leaking any air and I only had it for 5 months well maintained.
It sounds like it is not cycling the slide back to charge the hammer? Will it shoot a second shot if you manually rack the slide? If it will shoot after manually racking the slide the blowback valve could be damaged. There is a green rubber valve (see 09:40 in the video) on the inside of the slide, if it is torn or damaged it will stop the blowback action and the slide will not rack and set the hammer for another shot. Hi, The PPQ can be stripped for cleaning, but you need to remove the front pin to allow the slide to be taken off. (Hola, el PPQ se puede desmontar para limpiarlo, pero es necesario quitar el pasador frontal para poder quitar la diapositiva.)
Hi mate wondering what your thoughts are on the recent changes on fps for paintball pistols having recently purchased that gen 2 glock 17 T4E I'm feeling annoyed to say the least that these pistols will not be allowed on paintball sites going forward from the 19th of January 2024 . The ruling is that any pistol putting out more than 234 fps will need to be adjusted down to or below that . As the glocks have no manual method of adjustment the law renders it banned on a paintball site.
Hi there, yeah this definately sucks. It doesn't make any sense to me that paintball is still using a flat FPS limit for all sizes of paintballs. The sport needs to take a more accurate measurment of Joules (power) similar to Airsoft. By taking into account the weight of the projectile (paintball) the FPS of an Umarex pistol would need to be 400+ FPS to match the same joules as a .68 cal paintball from a paintball pistol. I could take my FSC to a field and shoot FSR at 243 FPS and that would effectively have 2x the Joules that a .43 cal paintball from a Umarex would have but the umarex is banned? You can get the FPS to drop on the umarex pistols, but you have to shoot off about 2 mags worth of shots. I,m not sure you could get it as low as 243 FPS though. Without knowing the weight of the paintball, you will not know for certain if you are breaking the law even if you are at the site UKPSF limit. They are the govening body here in the UK so we will have to see what they tell the field operatorsvenues.

Hi there they are all licenced 1:1 replicas of the real versions. My ppq and Glock versions fit the real steel holsters and I believe the m&p 9 does too, hope that helps 😎👍

The trigger is mechanical but I think it is the spring that determines the pull strength. I've heard others have changed the spring to lighten the pull but have not tried it myself.
Hi there, I couldn't find any racial ear plugs, I ended up getting a 3rd party set from Amazon. They may turn up on eBay or an army surplus site. 3rd party Comms specialist's may be able to source them? Hope that helps 👍😎
Hi there, I keep adding to my setup and having to re-film the video 😂 I have added new ear pro adapters and an exfog system and a new camera setup. I will be creating some more setup videos over the winter so I'll prioritise the helmet setup 😎👍
Thank you sooo much, man, for making this video! I just took off my dovetail and only saw a retaining hex screw. First video i came to and was the exact miracle i was looking for! Do you know if trigger spring can be replaced with thinner one to make the trigger pull more fluid and springy? Always trying to keep up as a magfed player against those woodsball players from the speedball field lol
No problem buddy, glad it helped you out 👍 I haven't taken the trigger mechanism apart yet. Another commenter mentioned they have managed to alter the trigger by changing the spring but I don't have any details how they did it. Keep giving those woodsballers hell 💪😎
I know these aren't designed for this but with these devices using a kenwood 2 pin typically used with walkie talkies, how would you go about getting the audio to output to a mini speaker?
Hi there, I just had a look and a number of companies make adapter cables. Try searching for something like "kenwood radio jack audio jack" and you might find something that would work. Hope that helps 😎👍
Awesome helpful review man! I have a quick question though. The scope is advertised to have an eye relief of about 9.5cm - 13.5cm (3.7in - 5in), which I think is fairly decent considering there are scopes with an eye relief of 1.5 inches. However I saw some mention that the eye relief is still short. Is this the case or is the eye relief good so to say? Thank you
Hi there, I would say the advertised eye relief is pretty accurate. For me it is probably closer to 6in. I think it has a decent amount of eye relief. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😎👍

Thanks for this video. I don't shoot paintball, but purchased the Umarex S&W M&P 9 2.0 for training, using the re-useable solid rubber balls in the yard at home. After watching this video, I purchased the UTG Super Slim RDM20 Mount dovetail mount and the UTG OP3 Micro SL red dot to train using a red dot. Great training set-up for dry-fire or using the solid rubber balls at home when I can't get to the range with the real steel version.
Ive boughten silicone spray but it has like a garage door on the photo but it should still work right? I also got a 3in1 liquid oil silicone drop bottle idk if its too much or will harm the gun marker? Idk i just use it on metal parts and drop on the co2. But i stilll have super lube 21030 but it says it has no silicone but its a good grease with syncon or whatever. I tried to find the super lube that says silicone grease and o ring silicone but not in stores gotta order so I'm trying my own silicone products. Ive also bought a red and a blue silicone clear lube above the caulk section in home depot. Omg it is caulk im so dumb "Supreme Silicone 2.8 oz. Clear Window and Door Caulk" this ones blue and i got the red onr which is for bathrooms lmaonfailnsonhard
So my glock has metal showing I accidently mounted a really too tight plate on and it left metal marks the paint gone but I think it removed some metal or dented it if I spray laint it will it look new again? The thing that keeps the slide blowbacked is starting to deteoriate in color is this normal and why does this happen??? Is it when the co2 smoke falls on the gun or something when firing?
Hi there, it sounds like the screws/bolts used to secure the red dot could have been too long. If they supplied shorter bolts use them. Sometimes a black permanent marker can hide slide scratches. C02 can degrade seals over time, all you can do is add a drop of silicon based oil on the c02 capsule top to oil the seals during use.
The one i got didnt come with this case mine says umarex and is all black and the opening is different. Wonder why... damn american style i guess.. oh wait two editions? I guess i got the shittier edition it only came with the barel cleaner and manuel and the umarex case. Damn where is this first edition i guess not on amazon or any website selling the gun for the same 325$ usd.
Hi, It's an actual Glock case. The first batch of markers made in Germany were the First Edition and as a bonus, they came with a Glock case. I pre-ordered mine and was lucky enough to get the case. All of the markers produced and sold now, come with the Umarex case 👍
I'm becoming a fan of the t4e guns and currently got the ppq m2 blue one coming in the mail today. So far i got the glock 17 and vp9 best pistol paintballs i ever used actually the only ones ive ever used lol! Other than that ive only used the giant paintball guns that you use when you go have fun with your friends at a rented place... honestly i wanted the tan and black version or black but they got a buy the blue one and get an extra magazine for only 10$ more which is a steal... but every blue one i seen online i am not liking the color... oh well doesnt matter that much... now all i need left is the mp sw m2.0 and the tpm1 or whatever then i finally got all their .43 pistols...
Yeah, they are great markers. I use them in magfed gameplay, but I also like them as collectables. I haven't got them all, Just the original PPQ, the S&W Mp9 and the Glock 17. They released a really nice Walther PDP that I have my eye on at the moment too 😎👍
