The one car that was smoking was outgassing highly toxic fumes from a puncture in the battery. The gasses can be highly explosive in an enclosed space. A shipping container sized battery outgassing in Australia launched a firefighter 30 meters into the air. The thermal runaway fire can't be stopped without huge volumes of salt water. It puts out the fire and discharges the battery at the same time.

Japan, when it was entering the modern marketplace back in the late 40's and early 50's, trying to get into western markets went through a period of struggle itself. They used to call their products "Jap Junk". And, by and large, for a good while, it was indeed junk. Junk produced by a wartorn people recovering their infrastructure, rebuilding the foundations of their government and trying to get their culture 'on track' as well. They were an utter wreck after the Second World War. And they got better. Much... MUCH better. China has no such excuse. None. The rot in China goes from the very top to the very bottom in all aspects of its current culture and industry.

The sad thing is students and gen z are becoming like the Chinese government in the US but they are way more unconscious about their criminal acts, rarely killing ofc, than they are with how the CN government are trying to cover the crimes of their own ppl to pretend like they were not the cause or China isn't as bad as it seems
I truly appreciate your videos. They’re always very informative and spot on. You’re clearly a very good man who should be very proud of what you do. I’ve been getting more and more concerned about how many products my country (the USA) has become dependent on that come from China. Unfortunately, these items are quite inferior and of questionable quality and safety. the problem is they want to use chips / gyro - that they produce internally. and those chips are rly bad... there is like error lvl of 50% so basically car safety is like lottery . Some will work some will not.. and someone will die.
