I'm an adjunct professor who has chosen to forego the traditional labor-for-tenure career track. I believe the Internet holds the key to new forms of education that will, over time, erode and ultimately destroy traditional students-in-a-brick-and-mortar-box education; to this I say: "Hooray!"

I grew up overseas and I love history, so to me it makes sense that I've become a world nomad with my family (albeit always on a very shoestring budget!) in order to record history mini-lectures on-location. We arrive in a new place, stay about five days, and then move on to the next one. Rarely are we anywhere for more than a week.

Clearly I'm no professional videographer. But I hope that my videos are interesting, even enlightening at times--and that since they are all created on-location, they might achieve a level of engagement otherwise impossible.

Let me explain how wrong you are about the internet being a prime source of information. In fact I will stick it into your brain so that you will never forget it.... In the early 2000's a lawyer i knew a lawyer who did a global study of searches on the internet. At that time 70% of the searches were about Britney Spears, got that? One other fact you should be aware of is that for over 20 years; internet porn has been the largest cash industry in the world... got that? Now since I am a professional researcher and an author, I will put all that aside and focus only on the research I have done over the internet that I managed to find in 24 years... ( I began using the internet in 2000) After 10 years of research, I went back and tried to pull up the sources I had used for my research over the last decade... ( I never bothered to save all the videos or the web site data on my computer simply because it took up too much space on my computer. I simply extracted the facts and information I needed for my own use....) What I found was that after 10 years, 90% of all the web sites and video URL's I had saved no longer existed... They had been wiped out. deleted from the internet... Only 10% of the sites I had used were still there... got that? Then, after another 10 years (2020) I went back and tried to find the sources that I had used and I found 90% of them had also disappeared... got that>? This means that after 20 years, from 2000 to 2020; only 1% of all the sources I had found during my 20 years of research still existed... Got that? Let me do the math for you: 10% left after 10 years... Then 10% of 10% after another 10 years equals 1%... Got that? You see, the internet is the most efficient book burning machine ever invented. Previously when someone wanted to wipe out certain politically incorrect information, no matter how many books they burned; there were always some that escaped the burning... BUT NOT ANYMORE... Now since everything has become digitalized, entire web sites that took years to build and accumulate information can easily be deleted in the blink of an eye, and future generations WILL NEVER KNOW THEY EVER EXISTED... Got that? Now stick this into your internet ear and chew on it.

So sorry for the Cambodian people. Ian so ashamed my country suppressed Cambodia when they should have helped. genocide is evil atrocities to mankind and should never ever happen again but it still exists today. America pretending not to know anything then 40 years later blaming the cia is atrocious and sinfully evil . Nixon s impeachment over this was not near enough and people like Henry Kissinger still roam this earth as evil war tyrants.

The reason Stalin deported so many people is not because he was bad. One needs to understand communist ideology and their analysis of history. Whenever you have a revolution that can affect the power or property rights of the elite, they organise to resist that change. Stalin did not deport based on ethnic issues, but on social status, to prevent those elites from making an army to resist. Whether this was right or wrong can be debated, but it is worth mentioning that the USSR was the first socialist republic and they were not sure what was the best way to prevent the elites from starting a war against them. If you would have been in their position, with Germany and the Russian elites waging war against the revolutionaries, with resources lacking everywhere, you would have done exactly the same.

One important point not mentioned in the video is the discrimination and deaths of ethnic Germans living in Poland before this time. It was mentioned by the speaker that there were millions of ethnic Germans living here but the protection of ethnic Germans being murdered before this time was one reason for the invasion. Britain gave notice that they would declare war against Germany if the Germans invaded Poland. This emboldened the Poles to further discrimination of ethnic Germans living in Poland since the Poles knew that Britain would come to their defense if Germany invaded.

I live in the Albany area but I drove from Plattsburgh to Watertown to Buffalo and I looked up a lot of the history of upstate New York as I was driving through small villages. Like Boonville named after a Dutch Abolitionist who wanted to replace slave grown cane sugar with maple sugar.

@7:04 the speaker in the video neglects to mention the jooeeesh role in this. Poland was for centuries the heartland of these people and when their Soviet Communist comrades tried to do the same to Poland, these people often assisted the Soviets, to the point when it came to the Battle For Warsaw, they were placed into concentration camps

The first ( deciphered)written form of the greek language was linear B ....And this is the language spoken by the the mycenians ( A.k.A estern Greeks by the historians ,because they inhabited areas to the east of the Dorians before their descend on southern greece ) They were divided in two major groups the ionians and the aeolians ..Collectively they self identified with many names but acheans was the most popular....(mycenian is a name coined by historians, after the most important city of the era ....) After the bronze age collapse the descent of the Dorians occurred ...the Modern Greek language derives from the koine Greek, koine derives from the Attic fialect...And Attic is an Achaean , mycenian dialect say it how ever you want...

The tablets found in Crete in Linear B confirmed that Mycenean Greek was closely related to the Greek of classical times. Invasions of that time period usually replaced many of the men of the earlier peoples, but far fewer of the women. Add Greeks afterwards said that the Invaders were related to the original inhabitants, attributing their invasion to them supposedly being sons of Hercules. Unlikely they would do that for outright foreigners.

The name "East Turkestan" didn't even exist until very recently. The name is a modern invention through the NED. Xinjiang has been settled by many ethnicities, not just Uyghurs, for at least a thousand years. The "East Turkestan" supporters want to ethnically cleanse this land of all other races. Please educate yourselves on this subject.

Good narrative of the greatness of the Chinese people. Like the Great Walls, the undertaking of the Grand Canal is a living testimony of the remarkable sacrifice of her people for better living. Both mega projects were a continuation of succeeding dynasties picking up where the last left; with one same goal and dream.

Indo-Europeaan theory has never been proven to be correct. The IE language is a hypothetical, a creation of I don't know who (please inform me if you know). Only 16-20 words are similar in several lanuages, wich could have been borrowed in the not so distant past. All babies say "mum" when they are hungry. There are no aphabet, no texts, no artifacts, no burial graves df IE peoplel. The whole thing is a theory. please treat it as such.

Before the Spanish met the Incas, Aztecs or came to the United States or Mexico, the Spanish were in the Caribbean in the 1400s where they met the first Native people they encountered the Taino Indians. People like to forget that the Spanish were in Hispaniola, Cuba and Puerto Rico long before they were in Mexico and then the United States, it was the Taino who were barbecuing food that the Spanish brought to the southwest, the hammock and the word Hurricaine all came from the Taino and after Spain lost all it's colonies, the last two colonies in had left was Puerto Rico and Cuba, we Puerto Ricans know all this history long before this happened to the Aztecs or Inca people.

Where are the Greeks? Zeus was a Pelasgian, not a Helen! After Illyad the language of Gods was Gheg- North Albanian Dialect. (Herodotus) Illyad und Odyssey were oral epic poems of Pelasgians (the descendant of Albanians). After osmanic cadastral of XV-XVI century, 95% of the population was Albanian and 5% Helen in Greece. Zacharias Papantoniou (Greek: Ζαχαρίας Παπαντωνίου) was a Greek writer. He was born in Karpenissi of Evrytania in February 1877 and died in Athens in 1940. He spent the first years of his life in Granitsa, where his father was a teacher. Apart from a writer, he was also a journalist. Many of the works of Zacharias Papantoniou, unfortunately are censored, because it tells the truth, on the Greek history. In that censored group is also the book, ''The King Otto''. Below we state a fragment from this book: ''The young Prince for first time come in Athens on January 25, 1833, he hardly heard anyone speak in Greek and so he asked: "Where are the Greeks in Athens?" His court looked at each other and answered: "There are no Greeks, but do not be troubled because this Albanian population will always be faithful to your monarchy."
