Hire a licensed fire protection company and have your fire suppression installed properly. These systems have to be inspected by a licensed company every 6 months. If you have a fire and your insurance company figures out you did it yourself they won’t cover the bill
Are you going to make any videos of you operating the truck? Would like to see. I’m starting one and copy and pasting your videos! Thank you. Would like to see more
The filters in the hood are total garbage. They’re not meeting any codes and made in some Chinese alleyway. You’re not supposed to be seeing behind the filter or be able to stick your finger pass it
I'm confused as all can be. Why not just put your Box in the front of the trailer so that you dont need to string your main power cable underneath which can be easily damaged durning transport?
Looking into this for my bar shed. Thanks for the video! Super helpful. We’re going to install ourselves. The link you have listed says glass not included. Did you find one with the foggy white glass?
This is awesome! Congratulations! I see the excitement in you. Well deserved. Did it matter the depth of your sinks? I'm in PA and the checklist is very much similar. Did your 3-compartment sink size and or depth matter? Thanks.
Damn I wished I could hv gotten ahold of you earlier dought you even look at comments on this anymore but I am in bad need of something for my ceiling as well for outside covering. I want yellow aluminum sheets for outside but damn I don’t think I can afford it I am going to need about 10-12 sheets for outside and it runs about 150.00 a sheet here in north Texas & I definitely can’t afford that looking a grand nearly just for outside. My sister gave me her old 10’ by 8’ concession stand trailer, I am extending it 3’ fir frigerator etc. thinking I could redo it but now I sunk so damn much money into indoor things water pump, plumbing, pump, water hold tank, black tank, clamps, etc. shit adds up fast now I prob can’t get my money back I’m figuring I’m not gonna be able to afford to do it real nice and I’m anal about perfection I’m a pro handy man not making a whole lot of money right now. I help slot of people and or kids with their money probs. I’m looking for colored sheets of aluminum I figuring about the best way to go, thought about Formica but won’t withstand the weather elements and the hot Texas sun destroys everything unless it’s covered it will tear a boat apart in two years, so aluminum about only way to go, I hv 2 rolls of SS padded Diamond shaped to start going around inside walls only going down to cabinets with that, then painting inside of walls behind cabinets, bought foam insulation 2’ x6’ foam panels Home Depot doubling it for ceiling or roof now gotta find a good looking sheet of something for the ceiling my square tubing runs across at 2’ 8” apart and was going to use a seam channel between each piece of whatever I decide or afford for ceiling and screw to 1” tubing, I’m tearing out the whole inside no insulation in walls, and foam board and pink fiberglass and close it in with 1/2” plywood, I’m picking up at construction sites scrap big pieces, fir free where I can find but right now I’m stuck on what I can afford for ceiling I thought about a sheet of Pearl colored Formica might work even with a 1/16”-1/8” thick paneling if needed. I hv a 6’ long 2- bulb old shop light I sanded down repainted, swapping out old halogen bulbs for 2- led shop light bulb strip really bright. It’s so damn hard to do something correct when your broke, I’ve always been the guy friends and kids went to for money for this or that, I am rodeo team sponsor for high school rodeo team here in my town. Give a lot away can’t help it I try to help everyone I can anytime. But I hv to learn to be humble and accept money if anyone offers me any, which no one has or prob won’t, but anyway, I’m amazed how people forget so quickly, I paid for 3 of my friend way thru college, never expected anything in return but friendship, but you’d think they knowing I’m down right now(not forever) they would ask or offer, they say hey wanna go in half for a suite at Texas rangers game I say I’m broke bro very broke they move on, oh well that’s in the past. Looking for great prices on colored aluminum if anyone knows where I can order it cheap please please let me know thanks god bless stay safe
That is a PyroChem PCL-300 System. You would have to find a company that is a distributor for them. The PCL-300 is the model number for that specific tank it changes based on what size you need.
what an informative video! I will definitely be following it to do my plumbing next week. I have a question though; how do you vent the gray water tank? you should do a video on how you clean the tanks when they need sanitation. This follower will truly appreciate it!!
I feel for you brother I'm 60 and I lost my job two years ago I had bought a food trailer before I lost my job I lost a son and my wife lost her father a year later I wanted to start my BBQ food trailer here my in-laws land but my mother in-laws has not let that happen plus I had health issues and etc. So I'm still trying to find a way to start my trailer I have been in construction my whole adult life but I always wanted to cook for a living so just wanted to share that I feel what you went through.
Doing the installation and having trouble with the lock. Any tips? We have the pieces screwed on but it isn't locking when we shut it. Not sure if we did it wrong, but we don't have any instructions.
Hello. I see that the fan you bought says online that it's about a 500 strength. I was told I need a 7-900 at the least. So just wondering how that one has worked out for you? Thank you so much for your videos!!
I like your honesty we are in same boat we start to build our second food truck But this time is a 14x8 trailer we just placed the order for the hood system we are doing it from scratch to LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
Better check with your state before you start anything. In my state a master plumber has to draw up the plans, send them in for approval ( in triplicate!) and the master plumber has to do all the work. Then the state plumbing inspector has to pass it.
