Hi Terry nice to see and hear you again, hope you are well, unless anyone else has commented, the Blue tit thing they are very territorial and it is attacking its own reflection in your window, thinking it is a rival blue tit, we have a nest box near out kitchen window and it happens often pond and fish look great, I have slimy green algae this year also let me know if clover leaf sorts it thanks for the post Pete
Hi Martin, I have now taken my website down as it was going to cost a fortune to up-date and comply with Google regulations. If you contact me on pondfilters@gmail.com I might be able to help. Thanks, Terry.
Great to see you back Terry! Hope you’ve been well. The moving bed filter I built with your help and the build plans you kindly sent me has been working so well for me that I’ve been working on building a 1200L concrete tank so I can have more k1 media😂
Hello mate, and thank you. I have had some up's and down's but 🤞🤞I'm ok now. Good to hear the moving bed has gone well, everyone should have one. Thanks again and take care mate, Terry.
Hi Kati, I'm sorry, but I have taken my website down. It was going to cost too much to update and comply with Google's demands. Having a website is not to bad, but when your selling things from it, you come under a load of Laws, and Google regulations. Good to hear you enjoy the videos, thank you for your support. Take care, Terry.
Hi mate, and thank you, it's really appreciated. I was away for a while, and then when I got back, the weather wouldn't let me do any videoing. All ok now though thank you. Take care, Terry.
Hi, I use the Colombo Test Lab Pro Kit, and have done for quite a few years now. I just seem to get on well with it. Thank you for your kind comments. Take care, Terry.
Good to see you back, I have only reciently come across your channel, so I have been gradually going through your videos. I see your web site is no longer working, are you still doing plans for the RDF. regards Ken
Hi Ken, and thank you, it's very much appreciated. I have had to take my website down as it wanted too much spending on it to bring it up to Google Speck. I still do the plans for all my filters if your interested mate. They do come cheaper, now I don't have a website to pay for. If your interested, you can get me on pondfilters@gmail.com thanks again, Terry.
Hi Mick, thank you for your kind comments. I used a Sandtex Masonry grey paint for the fence, and a grey Ronseal Decking Paint for the darker grey. I hope this helps mate, Terry.
Great video. Better than store bought. The auto fill is what I am going to do to mine also. Plus, it will be below my shed. I will install another gutter and spout (with a screen) to let rainwater help keep it full. Tin roof.
Hello mate, and thanks, it's good to hear you enjoyed the video. That's the good thing about DIY projects, you can always adapt them to suit your setup. Thanks again, Terry.
Hi, and thank you for your kind comment. This is quite an old video, so if you'd like to see my fish now, have a look at some of my newer videos. Thanks again, Terry.
Hi, wisteria takes years before it flowers. We had one in our old garden which 50% of the time the frost got to the buds but when it did flower it was magnificent. Baby wildlife in the garden can be such a worry, it makes you feel helpless sometimes.
Hi Tony, thank you for the info on the wisteria. I'll keep my fingers crossed🤞🤞Thank goodness I think all went well with the birds. Thanks again and take care, Terry.
Hi Richard, and thank you mate. I have taken my website down mate, it was going to cost too much to bring up to date, and with all Google requirements, it was a nightmare. I still sell plans mate: pondfilters@gmail.com take care, Terry.
Hey buddy great to see you back I bought some plans for the rdf you built but can no longer find them on my pc. Was going to get another set but the website is no longer ? How can I get another copy
Good to see ya back Terry hope your well mate glad the Phosphates are back under control 👍 that tree you copped down would have made an awesome bonsai 😅
Hi Jamie, and thank you. I hope all’s well your end mate. I'd have thought the tree would have been too big, but you could have had it, I only chopped it up, sorry! I hated the thing😂😂 if I cut anymore down, I'll give you a shout mate, take care, Terry.
Hi Richard, and thank you mate, it's very much appreciated. We're both well mate thank you, I hope all's well with you and your family. Take care, Terry.
Aerobic & Anaerobic. Aerobic bacteria refers to the group of microorganisms that grow in the presence of oxygen and thrive in the anoxygenic environment. Anaerobic bacteria refers to the group of microorganisms that grow in the absence of oxygen and cannot survive in the presence of an anoxygenic environment.
I will double check mate, but I've never noticed a smell with it and not noticed any bubbles coming off it either mate. Sorry!, I'll try to get a closer look.
Hi George, and thanks mate, always appreciated. I'm very well thank you, I hope all's well with you and your family mate. Have a great season, take care, Terry.
Hello Lau, now I'm blushing 😉I did eventually get a video out, sorry it's been so long 😘the 2 newbies in the pond are growing really well. I hope all's well your end, and them gorgeous koi of yours are all well. All we need now is some good weather🤞🤞to get this season going. You have a great season Lau, and all the very best, take care, Terry
Hi Pete, and thank you. I'm getting caught up with things now. I hope all's well your end mate. I've never been housebound by a Blue Tit before😂😂 Thanks again, and take care mate, Terry.
Thanks mate, and thank you for your kind comments, very much appreciated👍👍It's about time we had some nice weather😒😒Thanks again and you take care mate, Terry.
Great to see you back on the small screen, you’ve been missed😊. Pond and fish looking good despite the blanket week, just a shame the season has been so slow to start👍
Thanks Phil, I really appreciate it mate. I'm slowly getting caught up with everything👍👍I hope all well your end mate, it is difficult with the weather the way it is. It would be really nice to see a little sunshine😒😒Thanks again mate and take care, Terry
Good to see you back mate , wisteria like lots of potassium and water to flower also mine always seems to have the tiny flower buds nipped off by late frosts , fish are looking great take care mate
Hi, Terry if you find out why the Wisteria didn’t flower please let me know, my one is 20 years old only ever flowered once with 3 flowers. I think its days are numbered. Good video as ever, cheers🤓
Hi Steve, I've been told it has to be 4 years old to start flowering, so I've got my fingers crossed for next year. If it doesn't, it'll be on the same bonfire heap as yours mate🤣🤣🤣thanks again, and take care, Terry.
Hi mate, I use to have a net over my pond and it does spoil the view of the fish, plus a heron will use a net to walk over the pond. The fence I have can be removed and replaced in less than 1 minute. I must admit it is a far better option. Thanks, Terry.
Wisteria sometimes wont flower because the August and September the year before has not had enough water so buds don't grow the following spring. Try this summer giving it a good soak at least once a week and a feed and hopefully next spring it will grow buds and flower. I hope this helps. You have a lovely garden and pond.
Wow It's Terry nice to see you matey, hope you're enjoying this lovely hot summer great to see you post I think the last was on Christmas eve. Keep on keeping on Tel and stay well. 👍🐟 ps: Brilliant blue tit 🐦 adventure, maybe the one tapping on the window was saying thanks. 🤣
Hi mate, Never thought of that😂😂I was kept housebound for a day, by a Blue Tit🤣🤣🤣 My last video was quite a while back. (last year)😒😒sorry, I will try harder mate👍👍😉you take care, Terry.
