WINBUSH Hello!!! Please tell me if it is possible to import particles created in cinema 4d using the Realflow plugin into unreal engine? Could you make such a lesson? Thank you.

Question: When I try to adjust my Sensor Width or Height, it shifts to cm's instead of staying at mm's. Any idea why? Great video BTW! Love your content and approach.
@@JonathanWinbush Thanks Jonathan. I thought I broke something. I finally just ended up adding the settings to my BaseEngine.ini file so I don't have to fuss with it to get a 2.39:1 Ultra Wide. Thanks again!
"Modyfi" is also worth a look for something more casual but more feature heavy as far as filters/fx. Browser based as well. Not well known yet but maybe soon - Basically seems to be the Canva of video.
No thanks I left After Effects for Node based compositors( Fusion) because layer based linear workflows are horrible for complex comps as soon as get over six or seven layers.
@@JonathanWinbush No just VFX and comping render layers for mograph I just fire up my “old” seat of Cinema4D R26. I liked after effects and had alot of plugins from Video copilot but when you have to start nesting effects layers into precomps it becomes a nightmare if you have to go back and unfold those precomps just to adjust one effect. compared to having all of your effects nodes visible and easily accessible in your node tree.
I just looked at it and it says that the rendering is done with three.js. It would be absolutely amazing if they could add html-export for projects too!
@@JonathanWinbush not with gltf/Usdz 3d objects as far as I know. I believe there is no simple, timeline based wysiwyg tool to create 3D html5 web animations. If there is, please tell 😁👍
great - thank you:) I have a lot of plugins and I like adobe integrestion with diffrent products - but I see that other companies develop faster than Adobe - maybe I will switch to other cloude base tools in the fuure.
Yea that's the thing AE has decades in the game which will be hard to overcome because of so many established plugins for it but I'm hoping one day a worthwhile competition happens with more apps I the realm
I'm sure this might be just because it's been a year, but I followed the instructions to the tee, and am getting an error about not being able to select more than 3 material instances for blending. Any idea what that is?
@@JonathanWinbush I am an independent animator. Many of my projects are on my RU-vid channel. My most popular videos are recreations of movie scenes/trailers, swapping characters with Sonic. They have been super fun to make! One day I'd love to actually work on an official Sonic animated series or movie, like you do. I suppose it's quite hard to get onboard though
Ya I saw your stuff pretty solid work. If I was you I'd put together a reel of your best work and just apply to studios. I just worked on the commercials but that's how I got in just apply to a lot of places until you get a yes
Hi Sir.. What's your favorite most "Stable" version of Unreal? I'm using 5.1.1 but wondering if I'm missing out on cinematic quality? I just do cinematics & the most important thing is smooth camera movement. Thanks so much & Subscribed!
@@JonathanWinbush Thanks bro! Do you have or know of a video for the best project settings for 5.4? Or do I just migrate my 5.1 settings? That's the daunting part. Dialing in the most optimized settings for your specific version. Ready to install 5.4.2 Thanks again!
Awesome concept, thanks for the video, never knew about this software. Does the model you are doing mocap for have to be really close to your dimensions? I wanted to do mocap for a dwarf type character, but I am 6'3 lol
