Panerai has fallen so far. Every model looks the same. They need to try something different like a dress watch or something to add to their arsenal. It would be like rolex just making variations on their sub as their whole line of watches. Boring.
You can't beat a miroku I have 2 ,I've had more expensive berettas etc over the years but nothing compares to the fit and level of finish ,and how they shoot for the money
@@Bassingtons I am from Poland. I did not plan to buy a Perazzi. My friend went to pick up his HT3 and informed me that it was an unclaimed HighTech. The parameters of the gun were perfect for me. I had doubts, but my friend told me that it was beautiful and ordered it for me ;). A month later I went to Italy. I was at the factory for the first time on Monday at 8:00 in the morning. Quick action! Dimensions, test shots, choice of wood and I left at 8:30-8:40. On Tuesday at 8:00 the gun with a raw stock was already waiting for me. Test shots, final adjustments and choice of case. On Wednesday afternoon I picked up my Perazzi at the shooting range in Lonato. I am very pleased with the professionalism in the factory. Service at the highest level. It can be compared to having a suit made by the best tailor!
@@januszkumala Yes, I totally agree! I found everyone thoroughly professional, efficient and very polite. Overall it was a great experience and something that happens once in a lifetime. When you have a bespoke suit made for you, you never go back!
These radiomir base logo are entry level point Panerais, very affordable at retail but not desirable at all, especially on the secondary market. Your friend would not have lost quite as much if he bought a pre-owned Luminor or Submersible 1950 case in stainless steel, they tend to move a lot faster among the modern Paneristi. Let's be real, the old guard from 20 years ago are fading to the sunset, the only PAM they buy nowadays are vintage or pre-vendome pieces.
Real men will always want real watches. Grey dealers have always been around (pre bubble) so there is still a job for them to do. Its just sales baby ; )
I want the market to be healthy, but sane enough that lifelong enthusiasts like myself can buy at retail within a reasonable timeframe. Your tulip mania reference is spot on.
The mistake was buying new. I've purchased (preowned) about 20 Panerai in the past few years. I still have the majority of them, but the ones that I've sold on have (collectively) net me a profit approaching 5-figures. I don't there is a better value out there today than Panerai... pre-owned. If you buy them at the right price, and are willing to take the time to sell them properly, you can experience a watch and not a lose anything. Of course that presupposes that you like the watch, as I do. I've picked up a few precious metal Panerai this year and they have represented even better value than the stainless steel versions. I have other brands, including Rolex, but the Panerai side of my collection easily gets 2/3 of the wrist time.
@weezkidtube 0 seconds ago You need to do your research just like any other investments. Watches should be something you get into for far more important reasons. For the sake of argument on the Hulk mentioned in this video, box and papers are the bare minimum. Watch should be unpolished, preferably with the original purchase receipt included and movement checked by independent bonafide watchmaker. Otherwise 🙅
No, Tudor is Rolex at the end of the day and Rolex themselves are moving upmarket, that is clear from their 2024 releases. Tudor are therefore moving upmarket to fill the void, hence the slimmer watches and METAS movements. The all gold black bay 58 with the green dial is further evidence of where Tudor is trying to position themselves, as it’s their first all gold watch. So, Tudor are not Rolex’s pup, Tudor are the new Rolex tool watch brand.
@@Bassingtons i did they appear to be tougher scabbards. A scabbard is a essentially the same thing made out of an old blanket with a back strap in the same style as a back quiver for arrows made by American Indian tribes and worn in the same way as a back quiver and the gun is drawn like an arrow before firing traditionally.
Never have fitted the extended chokes in mine as it spoils the look of the gun.You are quite correct in this statement,I use Teague flush fitting chokes which are superb.
The Omega Speedmaster is a fantastic watch. It depends on the size of your wrist, this watch is 38mm I. Size. The price seems fair, does this include box and papers?
@@najamcivic Watches should not be treated as an investment, more as a capital asset. As I have already said that is a good price e. More importantly if you like the watch and it is in good working order then buy!
Pup? Teddy bundled Tudor and Rolex into one when he covered the Swiss watch industry report so maybe tail is more accurate. Riding the Rolex tail is a good way to sell watches to people who don’t want to buy used watches (because that’s the only way to get a steel professional model Rolex…which could be a fake). I think the ordinary consumer can buy a Rolex as long as it’s made of gold. The recent releases by Rolex show where they are going…to an all gold lineup. Tudor is better value than Rolex if you’re buying a watch. If you’re buying kudos, then get that solid gold deep sea.
I said in the VLOG that Tudor make a solid watch at a competitive price, I would like to see them produce more designs like they were doing up until about 5 years ago.
Tudors are all Rolex 5 digit copies. Shameful copies. I don't see Cartier looking like ALS or JLC, nor Omega looking like Blancpain or Breguet . Neither do LV's look like Zenith. Belonging to the same group doesn't mean they can blatantly copy designs outright .
I agree that Tudor is possibly used as a test bed for Rolex, but disagree that people buy Tudor because they either can’t get, or afford a Rolex. I have both, but the Tudor purchases I have made (the BB58 in blue for example), were because I both like the brand and design. Great video to get a debate going though Bassington 🙏
I think Miroku are a funny bunch, Why? The cardboard bloody box! Saying that though my grade 5 MK38 Trap is an utter delight to shoot, full hand fore end which I like very much indeed. I have a B725 which I also love but my go to would be my MK38 it is beautiful and fits me very well indeed. I will keep my 725 as it shoots well for me, but wish it had a trap forend! My mistake I know... Anyway good shooting peeps and enjoy your sport!
Please do not worry about how a watch will perform financially- please, please. Just buy what you like - watches are made to be used and enjoyed, not as an investment. There are not many more stupid investment ideas than a watch. Please.
About the best review I’ve seen on a gun. I have a Beretta 682 Gold E for Sporting/trap and a Miroku MK 60 Gr5 for Sporting/Skeet. I won’t part with either of them.
