Hi, my name’s Jordan Dean and I’m a wildlife filmmaker based in Victoria, Australia. Ever since I was a kid I've always had a deep interest in the natural world, with a subconscious drive to help conserve and restore it.
Unfortunately, many people simply neglect the beautiful intricacies of nature. My mission is to change this by showcasing unique natural history stories in an educational, yet engaging way.
I tend to focus on the overlooked and underappreciated creatures of the planet. I am especially interested in ants, as just like us, they're highly social beings. The way in which they communicate and cooperate with other members of their colony can prove to be an incredibly complex and fascinating process to witness.

Incredible footage man. Do you plan on making ant keeping videos again? You always have a high level of quality in your videos, which is missing from other yourubers imo.
Ant colony 1: AY! Get of our block Ant colony 2: WHAT this is our block fo Ant colony 1: yeah will this is ours better skedaddle before you catch these hands Ant colony 2: nah you skedaddle before you catch these hands * Casually causing a boxing war *
Thanks! That's great to hear! I was lucky in that I was one of the first few ant channels on the scene when the hobby began to take off. So that definitely helped my growth. But other than luck, I think the key is to create videos which you enjoy making and think others can benefit from. Figure out what your main goal for posting content is and let this drive you forward. For me, it’s getting people interested in nature by showing them unusual creatures they’ve probably never heard of before. Hope this helps!
