It's really nice to see that mindset so frequently here. I remember there was a divide when assist mode came out but we're here to have fun playing a single player game, so let's have fun with it! :D

@@DisappointedGiant That's always been my opinion as well. If the game has no leaderboards, competitive modes or PvP, then how people play it is none of your goddamn business. When things get competitive, well, that's another story. But like I said, I started gaming in the mid 80's, so I grow up with all the hardcore gamers who scoffed at "girls" who needed an "easy mode". I am very glad that shit is over. ^^

That's so nice to hear, thank you! I think I'm personally just a little burnt out on boss rush after grinding it to max out the forge on a few different files... and also after getting destroyed on the 4th trial way too many times to count lol

@@prateekshukla346 Well, when you finish all boss rush levels (or maybe the first 3) you unlock the "custom" one. In this one you choose which bosses you want to encounter, in which order, and which variant.

I have an issue where after boss rush only forge guy spawns, any clue why?

​@@DarkN1ght2440s Honestly, no idea. Maybe you have purchased everything? (Although I doubt you would be asking if this was the case). Maybe you haven't unlocked any blueprints so he has nothing to sell you?

@@gabrielarkin6575 I am currently on mobile so that could be it? clean cut didnt come to mobile yet and it added the DIY boss rush so I guess that is the issue, btw is the collector present after the DIY only or after all trials, another thing the wiki doesnt mention him at all it only mentions the Blacksmith so I guess the wiki is outdated too

Totally. I play on Switch and PS4 but if I played on PC I would absolutely use that mod on new save files to get my forge up.

Thanks for the idea. This game is fun but not everyone wants to spend time to grind especially with so many other games on the come up. I will eventually put this game down for good so any method to help me complete it faster is welcomed.

@@outphase78 I hear you. IMO grinding for the forge is the worst part of Dead Cells but it's a necessary mechanic. I wish they made weapon quality level dependent on BC level so that way people wouldn't need to get so many cells on it. 13,500 is a lot!

I wasn't planning on doing a video on aspects but Modesto recently started a series on his channel where he's doing runs one aspect at a time to showcase them. The first one for Grenadier got posted a few days ago; I'll link it below! Mutations though, absolutely. I'm going to put up a tier list sometime in May where I talk about every single mutation at length, so hopefully that will be helpful for you. I talked a bit about the differences between brutality/tactics/survival in my 0BC tutorial video, but I like the suggestion of stretching that out so I may revisit their differences more in depth in a separate video down the line. That could be true. I'm not sure what version mobile is on right now since another team is working on those patches, but if it's not on mobile now it will be in the future.

Thank you - he sure did! Also, I hear you about the EX bosses. I personally like to fly through boss rush when grinding but the EX ones are more interesting, even if they might take more time to beat.

BC means boss cells. When you beat the game on the default difficulty you'll get your first boss cell, which lets you increase the difficulty to the next level (1BC, since you have 1 boss cell active). When you beat 1BC you'll get another so can increase to 2BC, all the way up to 5. More info here! deadcells.wiki.gg/wiki/Boss_Stem_Cells

Totally, that's what I'm saying here. If you finish any of the trials you'll get a ton of cells, but I think the first door is the best one since it's the fastest.

Do you have an Aspect enabled? Having one of those will prevent Boss Cells from dropping.

What system are you playing on? Console or PC?

@@luckyluke31813 When you go your Steam library and then Dead Cells, see if there's a section in the game screen (before you launch it) that says DLC. I don't have Steam myself so am not sure exactly what it looks like, but there should be some kind of tab or option there for it. If you can see the DLC you *should* be able to right-click it and disable it.

Use the training room for all bosses it made them easier for me

I always seem to have a hard time finding weapons that synergize... I have the shop upgrades for re rolling and selecting the color. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your response being kind and inviting seems to me to be a great way to grow your community. Theese are good videos I've seen so far and I appreciate you

@@zackwilson6761 of course, happy to help! It sounds like you have the right shop blueprints for Reroll and Merchandise Categories, which is a step in the right direction. Something that might be helpful is to try to get status synergy on your weapons. An example of this is if you have the Throwing Knives (which inflicts the bleed status) and another item that has the "+60% bonus to bleeding" affix. You'll get more damage if you use the Throwing Knives to make something bleed and then hit it with the weapon that has the damage bonus. This is just one example, but it's a good idea to keep an eye out on those colors and symbols in the item descriptions so you can see if you can get extra damage with your build. You can reroll affixes between levels at the little guy after the Collector, so if you have something in mind you might be able to reroll an item to get that damage bonus. Synergy is a good way of bumping up damage. Like @Slugcat-with-a-GUN said, the training room is really good for practicing bosses (or regular enemies!). You can mess with weapons and synergy there, too, so it might be worth testing out some of what you have unlocked in the training room to see what fits.

That's the modified version of Giant, he's crazy. You can fight it in either the second or fourth door in Boss rush.

Yup, if you have PC you can use a mod to get all the cells you need. I don't recommend this for unlocking all the items since that's part of the fun but it's an easy way to fill the forge up and save a lot of time.
