I can't believe people can be so mean, but don't pay them ANY mind. You are worth 1,000 of those individuals, keep on going Kaleb, many, many more of us support you!
People are so, so, ignorant. This past week I saw footage of a house in Georgia which was built in 1927 that I had seen on RU-vid about 5 years ago and it has burnt to the ground. It was an amazing house and to see how it has ended up is so so sad. People do not appreciate historic buildings.
Charles Phoenix is a 1950s fan with an eponymous channel here and a big following. When you’re done with this amazing house, please consider offering him a tour. He does many tours of 1950s themed homes as well as showcase 50s classic cars. Great job!!!
Ive got a great pro tip for you when it comes to the vintage Westinghouse tv you showed. Send it to Bob Andersen in Chicago for a complete electronic restoration. He’s got a great channel here at bobandersentv Anything less than that is like running a 1955 T-Bird on its original oil and sparks. The tv will fail dramatically and it’s transformer will be damaged by out of tolerance caps and resistors if you don’t have the guts restored. And that’s be a shame because it would be an awesome tv for your amazing house. Can’t wait to see it all come together!
One thing that sucks about Lafayette square is Peabody neighborhood… nightly shootings definitely turn people off from living there. That goes for your neighborhood as well. If the low quality people didn’t live there people would pour in and bring it back up. Until then I don’t see hope for it
“This house is more like a car than a house” my gun has a serial number that doesn’t mean it’s more like a car than a gun… my trailer has a serial number (all trailers and Mobil homes do) that doesn’t mean you can drive it around… In fact manufactured houses often have seriel numbers…. Serial numbers do not = car dork… I thought this house was automated and ran of petrol or something… serial number get outta town
The link to buy one of those hoodies is not working. The company that makes this mortar is very close to where I live, less than 10 miles, so I'll be able to get some without having to pay for shipping, which is a bonus. It's GREAT seeing someone from a younger generation (I'm creeping up on 60 at the end of the year), who is not only interested in preserving, and restoring a grand old beauty like this, but actually doing it hands on rather than just throwing a pile of money at someone else to do the work for you. This world we live in today, would be a much better place with more people in it like you. BTW, I'm a first time viewer, and a new subscriber.
Why did you not use a automotive paint on the metal, as opposed to regular house paint. And automotive paint either one stage or three stage four of giving you lifetime clean ability.
I'm thinking about UN-Subscribing. You don't even say or tell us on the Community Page that I'm being delayed. This is July now. We are going to have a Dictator in November and this Project isn't going to finish
I can't wait to see the bedrrom.vanity with a mirror tray with antique perfume .bottlws. I hope the kitchen is pink. That's what color my while house would be. These houses are amazing. It's a shame that even with a 37M grant, they could only manage to hold it together long enough to make under 2.500. I can't wait to see when you and your dad get it all done. I'm so glad to see history still something to someone. I'd love to stay in it while it's raining. Is there any better sound?
There's a few of these in Columbus Ohio still. They are usually in run down neighbourhoods and the poor things are not as beautiful as they used to be. There is a neat example in the Ohio historical center though.
something similiar to Sanctuary Hills of 2077. 21 decades later it is quite ill suited the post nuclear apoc wasteland settlements. by then, 18th Century Blockhouses are better built there. i've tried building ones in Sanc hills in game. not easy though since some 'repairable' housings literally blocked settlement wall buildings.
