Welcome to Jeff of All Trades! This channel is for beginner gun owners who need a little bit of help taking their gun apart, cleaning it, and oil points! There will also be product reviews to help steer you in the right direction. I was in the military for 8 years and since then guns have become my passion! This is a "Family Friendly" gun channel, and no judgement zone! It can be embarrassing for some to ask how to do a task such as taking a rifle or pistol apart, so ask me! No judgement and all in good spirits! Any guns you want me to show or products to review, let me know! Disclaimer - All guns being handled inside are cleared and empty of all ammo before filming. The inside recordings with the guns are in a controlled environment and always handled by a professional. Any shooting shown in this channel is done at a NRA approved shooting range. #1212349
I think the reason they didn't include an optics mount was because of the multitude of different footprints available. I believe that the optics-capable 92s come with a coupon that can be redeemed on Beretta's website for a free optics mount with the footprint of your choosing, but I can't confirm because I long since threw away all my paperwork for mine. By the way mine was the 92X Centurion, which cost about $750.
Nice video but it would be nice if you’d call the parts by their correct names and not “ this part or this piece.” Barrel bushing wrench, barrel bushing, barrel link, guide rod, recoil spring plug.
@LS1007 I will not do that. This channel is for beginners, and to assist experts. Call a neighbor that has just bought their first gun and tell them to point at the Guide Rod. It doesn't matter if the parts are named correctly or not. If the video can help people out and teach them something without confusing them, than that's what I'll do. I appreciate your compliment by the way and I'm not being rude, just explaining why my videos are this way.
@@jeffofalltrades8489 it’s your channel and you can do what you want. If you’re trying to teach a beginner why not teach them the names of the parts? What if a beginner calls for parts and they say I need one of those parts that goes in to the piece next to the thing. Can you imagine? Like I said, it’s your channel so do what you want.
Much appreciated effort! Thank you for sharing, I didn't know such product is available. Could you please make a video how is it a year later? Also is this also for G26?
great comparison. But Holy Jesus the videos of you firing both of those guns, especially the M9A4, was hard to watch. It seemed like you were terrified of that gun going off each time. Appreciate the content, but definitely needing some more time behind these guns. Focus on grip, it seems like you had to adjust your grip after every shot, as well as a smooth trigger pull. Genuinely no hate, just advice. Good luck
This comes with everything except the muzzle break that attaches to the barrel. You'll need to get that in order to attach it to your AR. It's about $110
Strike Industries, Scorpion Universal Reflex Mount for GLOCK Version 2 (G-SURF) is what I installed. I put a Gowutar A17 2 MOA Green dot. Very solid mount and includes an ambidextrous charging handle. Placed a suppressor height night site to co-witness with the rear sites built in thto the Green dot site.
Having many different 92 models it really comes down to what you will use it for and how much you are willing to spend. The 92 compact is about the size of a Glock 19. The Centurion is like a 19x and the full size is like a G17, give or take a little. You can find the 92X Centurion "G" model, if you like a decocker only safety, that is cut for red dot base plates and comes with the extra grips to make it like the 92fs grip size/shape. It is everything the m9a4 is except the threaded barrel and possibly night sights at a lower cost.
The two points, the pin and the bolt , seem to be a universal flaw that can be addressed. I wanted to get one at an Iowa gunshow but missed out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bz1dpCwfjF8.html here are the simple jam fixes
Try a piece of a T shirt, wetted with gun oil, kept in a small jar. Wipe all surfaces. Wipe again with another piece of cloth. Watch that extractor spring! I cover it. It will launch the rod into space!
This video is a great example of why beauty is in the eye of the beholder. He says the M9 A4 Beretta is the better-looking gun and I disagree 100%. I definitely prefer the original look of the Beretta 92FS. I thinks its much sexier than the M9 A4.
Wiping down the oil after spreading it I think you are getting a lot more friction and wear personally I still prefer smooth fully covered oil. I have been guilty of over oiling my guns but I learned that just attracted powder residue which is worse than straight metal on metal. Maybe explain why oil is good, but bad?
I believe I do in a majority of my videos. The more wet the gun is, the more dirt dust and powder it will pick up ... making the gun dirtier, not cleaner. If you clean every day, go at it!
Thanks for the information. Ive had a different mount on my 43 but wasn't happy with it. I went to the Dove sight and entered your code and its on its way! Thanks again.
I just picked up a desert tan one with three magazines at a pawn shop. Looking forward to trying it out. I also have a Keltec P17, so I'm curious about comparing the two.
