On a mission to help women flourish in their 40’s while I try to do the same. 🌸 ✨
I stepped away from a successful holistic health business when it got "unhealthy" for me. I've spent the last 13 years launching coaching courses, raising money for anti trafficking orgs, leading thousands in wellness & biz development & helping clients raise millions to launch their dreams. I've spoken at TEDx & have been seen on Marie Claire, Forbes, USA Today & more.
I live in SC with my husband and two amazing kids who I homeschool 🤓
Congrats Erin. Your content is relevant whether in our 30’s 40’s or like me 50’s. I love the “doesn’t have to be January first” reference. Stepping out of our comfort zone is difficult but can also be fun, rewarding and liberating if we embrace the experience as you have.
@@LShawn806 hey L! I decided to give it a try because a lot of Liz’s indicators of needing it involved high cortisol which I felt resonated with me. Check out my longer video about it, you may find it helpful 😉
My grandkids just got a trampoline. Wow, what a world of difference between that and a mini! I’m hoping to use this video as an inspiration once I get back home from visiting.
Quite a year of trust + revelation...but man I'm starting to realize that what life + our 40's are all about?! 😂 Look forward to connecting with you in the comments friends!
Hi Nia…first off LOVE your name! Second, I share all the deets and my results (not sponsored) in the linked/related video. It’s a program by Liz Tenuto! ☺️
I have a rebounder but I think, like you I would prefer having an outdoor trampoline. I looked on Amazon and they are quite affordable so I may get one. I want my husband to experience the benefits of rebounding too.
I keep my rebounder in the living room on its side between workouts, and I use it almost daily. I'm almost 76 and love to follow the videos from San Fran Fitness on RU-vid. Rebounding is FUN and I have experienced the benefits you mentioned.
Thanks for sharing this. I was curious about it. Kept getting ads. I hear you on the over 40’s stomach. That’s been a continuous struggle for me. But we give ourselves grace. We brought humans into this world. Thanks again for sharing your journey.😊
You are so welcome Kiyaa🙏🏼 Yep…for me it’s really been about letting go of what I used to look like and being at peace with what I look like now. You are beautiful, inside and out! Thank you for watching friend. 💖
Thank you for trying this and for your recommendations. I will try it using RU-vid. I think it might do me good but I know I get bored doing it alone so I won’t pay for an app 😅 For you, how does it compare with somatic exercise in terms of benefit?
Somatics for me is a totally different experience. Pilates is more about toning and strengthening and Somatics is all about releasing stress + stored trauma. If you try it, let me know what you think!!
Also, I’ve been doing a lot of research on menopause pre-menopause. It’s been leaked to even frozen shoulder, even if you’re not in menopause or you’ve gone through it hormone balancing is really important.
Thank you for the motivation for me to get back on mine... I've missed it! Your video popped up on my feed in perfect timing... I'll have to check out your other content.
Did your ankles ever hurt? I'm almost 53 and I've had a rebounder for years but use it sporadically because my ankles hurt. And I'm not jumping higher or hard or fast. 😒
They don’t, but perhaps it’s because the trampoline isn’t as tight, it’s more bouncy 🤷🏻♀️ I’m sorry to hear that, that’s a bummer. Have you ever tried wearing ankle wraps or braces?
Listening to a lot of info on rebounder the type/ make apparently makes all the difference eg the springs or bungees and also the material used on the base . So maybe do some research on same Dave Hall of cellerciser gives some really interesting and informative information on the subject .
Hi Chris! Thanks for watching, I would ask your Dr or spend some time researching online. I’m not sure on that one, I did not find any information on that when I was researching.
I would recommend getting a rebounder with a bar that you can hold onto. Also there is something called a health bounce where you go up and down lightly so your feet do not leave the mat. That might be a good place for you to start but yes check with your Dr. too.
I love my rebounder from Amazon, it’s fit bounce pro XL, can get it with bar. It s made by a German company I believe which by the way a German company makes a very expensive rebounder Bellican , my rebounder looks a lot like a Bellican for a fraction of the cost. I’m 57 with hip issues , it’s great 35 min light bounce is 202 active calories, 265 total calories, not too bad of a workout
Hi, thanks for watching! Sadly it seems that may be the case, there's a few other ladies in the comments that said because of prolapse they can't do it.
I’m 45 with 5 kids. If you start by wearing a pad, you’ll notice that rebounding actually helps your pelvic floor and after a while you won’t need a pad anymore. 😊
My mom got my kids a small indoor trampoline (holds up to 200 lbs) so I knew about the NASA study and was definitely excited for the kids to get their energy out lol. I've been using a rowing machine 20 mins a day for about 5 months and I honestly dread it most days. Interested to see about doing 10 mins of rebounding and 10 mins of rowing and see how I feel! Anything to change it up 🥴
I’ve been rebounding most days for 2 yrs. I have a strong history of fitness but there is something very different about rebounding. I had a health crisis and it has greatly benefitted my healing process. I seem to gain more benefits if i use it thruout the day verses all at once. I had a very sluggish lymphatic system which has improved greatly. My jumper has made a huge difference in restoring colon and brain function as I heal. I use the 48” Leaps and Rebounds with a handle bar (you can do more exercises with a bar). Ive been pleased with the quality. If i get to a place where i need a new one I would like the Cellerciser as it might be even better for muscle strength also its a lifetime warranty. Oh ps i had a history with herniated discs sciatica and i haven’t had any trouble since using it.
Oh wow thanks for sharing 💖 I had never thought about using it several times throughout the day, I may try that. I’m so glad it’s been so helpful, and thanks for the recommendation on the rebounders, I do eventually want one for the basement for winter etc ☺️
I should have added I def make sure I go to the bathroom first 😂😂 But my daughter def made me do that the other day when she made me laugh while jumping 🤪
When I was a little gir, we used an old inner part of a truck tyre as a rebounder. 😁 It was fun, because the one side took off the floor and we trained ourselves to jump in asymmetric rhythm so we were competing who will fall (fly) off faster. 😂
