I don’t want to buy the latest gear only because it has 10 focusing points more ... the latest gear doesn’t make you better filmmaker or photographer... I am trying to remember this every time I am annoyed with my camera’s downsides.
Ive been struggling the G85 Autofocus using gimbal with 360 shot, after trial and error with lots of setting and so on, the result shown like this, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zb_1FKs_op8.html
Można wiedzieć, w jakim programie obrobiłeś ten film I jakich ustawień użyłeś ? Bo przyznam, że renderuje w premiere pro i jakość po wyrenderowaniu jest mega, ale jak wrzucam na YT, to tragedia jakaś jest, a używam też g80.
Thank you for that. I just ordered GX80. I would love to know what settings are you using on your camera and what post processing are you doing. I love your colours and quality.
I know this was six years ago, but i was wondering if you ever had any issues with this particular motor that you fixed. I read the other comment about damage to the bearing and i am curious, because one of my motors has the same issue.
*Phenomenal camera absolutely love it recommended❇❇>**justu.faith/PLumixG85?а ** to anyone who's looking for the first near list camera. Make sure you get extra batteries*
hello, very nice your video, I ask you a question, I have a g80 but unlike yours, the isos are adjustable only by 200 in 200 (200 400 800 1600 3200 6400) there is a way to have a setting like that yours? obviously the room is set entirely in manual like yours. Thank you!
Go into picture mode - top dial to M, S, A or P. Go to menu. Go to red camera icon top left on the screen. Go to 6/8 menu iso increments. Change 1EV to 1/3 EV . Let me know if it worked . Good luck.
Hi. Do you think the stills are better from G80? I had GX80 and I sell it. Cos my 12 years old Nikon D40 provides better pictures despite its 6 mega pixel chip. (but no video). I am looking for camera with at least equal stills but capable recording good qality video. Thanks in advance for you respond.
I have the gx85 and have found a solution to AF hunting while vlogging movies. It's all about speed. This method does not work for 1 foot or closer focus because I believe the focus throw is too great for "fast" AF. There is a theory that AF speed is linked to CPU processing power and possibly battery power. So I turned the EVF detection to slow and turned off the touchscreen. Experiment on your own model. Also, for focus I use AFC and continuous AF on. I discovered this when I plugged in an external monitor to the hdmi out and focussing was extremely slower. The manual even states this, but doesn't give a reason (which is CPU power, just like when you hook up 2 monitors to a desktop with a single GPU card). Good luck. The Lumix cameras and lenses are portable and lightweight exactly what mirrorless promised. Having an 80D or A6500 with larger lenses doesn't win the battle much. Please let me know what you guys think. Otherwise manual touch AF is acceptable because that eliminates focus hunting entirely. I may post a video at some point .
Marcin--The comments are from 2 years ago. Has the problem been fixed now the 1.3 version update? Also, when you talk about updates, it is helpful if you tell viewers what version you are using in the tests.
Hey I had the same issue with my G9. I knew it didn't happen in the beginning and then I realised happened because I changed one setting. Go to settings - stabilizer - I.S. lock (video) and switch it OFF ☺
Exactly what I've been looking for, thanks a lot, you saved me money. Almost went with the polaroid but its just another crap. Hoya filters never failed me and looks like they are pricey for a reason.
Now (feb 2019) the latest updates are 1.3 (body) and 1.4 (lens), is this issue still present? I'm going to buy a g80 and I'll use it in travel mainly with this lens. If yes is present in all focal lens? Thank you

@@Camera_Addiction I'm talking about g80+14-140, i want to buy my video travel gear and i was thinking about g80+14-140+ 20/25 f1. 7, perfection (i suppose) for my needs. I would like to buy g80 coming from a5000 for my travel/family video (I'm not a pro), i like it because it seems to me it could be my final body to buy because it has all i need and even things that i don't need now (like mic jack) but maybe in future, who knows. At first I was thinking about gx80 for price, dimensions and quality equal to g80, unfortunately it has some limitation: overall the screen, far behind the mic jack, and at the end with the same lens not so far in dimension it seems, for exemple a g80 with pancake. That's make me doubtful about gx80 to be my "for now and forever" camera because 800/1000€ for a camera for an amateur it's a huge cost, not that different from gx80 to g80, but for me it has to last untile a HUGE updating has to come. But honestly these stabilization problem make me doubtful about my body/lens couple
