Yes, I have restored a number of B’s, on them it is almost always due to previous rust repair as the repair panels do not have enough shape in them and is quite a common site unfortunately. The doors can be twisted a tiny bit, but it’s not that easy (they have surprisingly good torsional rigidity) and you have to be very careful as you can damage the door in the process. Playing with the adjustment of the hinges to get a good happy medium can often times get you what you’re looking for, or at least something acceptable.

@@mgbgtguy I have played endlessly with the adjustment of the door but can’t get it to fit well. Rear quarter panel is a heritage replacement panel so I tend to think this is good. The door has been reskinned (not by me) so I’m thinking to fit another new skin and adjust it fit. Might try twisting it first which might save me the job of fitting another skin.

I’m not sure I like the GT6 seats that are in this, I didn’t like how I fit in them when I test drove it.
