Sorry to see that bro! I'd probably leave the rear wing off. Putting the downforce in the back will lift the front. Also, maybe see if you can remove the stock bumper. Glad the battery is fine!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one questioning why you have a spoiler on when your already doing wheelies. If anything attach the spoiler to the front for more down force on the front to keep the front down. Not the rear bud.

-No wing -remove front bumper -lower it more. Definitely get you a set of heavy duty axles (I'm using mmp heavy duty axles and they are flawless). I put a 97mph slash together a couple of weeks ago with a similar setup, using 27/45 gearing on 6s, Aiming for 100+ this coming up Sunday with the new spur gear. So now I'll be running 27/36 gearing along with a few changes to the esc. Hope you get it fixed fast bro! Just keep at it and you'll get a breakthrough towards that 100mph!

Had the same problem with my rusler. Add 1-2 pounds of led to front. Did the trick for me. Still chasing that 100. Am up to 85 lol

i think the space between the bumper and splitter is creating a gap for the air to catch and lift, the splitter forces air over and the stock bumper is catching it all

relocate your battery to the front and or add weights.... also upgrade to MIP axles and get XO1 diffs , im surprised you haven't bent that stock drive line! but if you want to upgrade look into TEKNO RC they have great stuff!

I myself would not run on that road. All the drainage cuts in the road have to be leading to front end instability. Also take off the slash front bumper. Good build buddy keep at it

Also... no matter what you do, force is going to push the back down, which in turn lifts the front... splitter then acts as an air dam.. and air pushes the front up even more, because it has to go under the splitter. Point being, with that much movement on the rear, the splitter can't create a vacuum (what a splitter really does) because the front raises. You would be better off limitting the rear of the car even more, and using a body that pushes the air on the front to the sides of the car... Get some lead weights up in the front and a wheelie bar and you should be able to keep it on the ground, id lower it as much as possible as well to try and keep the air out from under it as well

3/4" long high Impact socket. Attach it to stock bumper. No tail wing. Shell on, 5 seconds to full throttle.

It's comin along awesome man! I had the same weight issue and lift with mine. Front splitter air dam is a sweet add! That may be a bit too much rear down force with that wing on there though. Unless your cornering at high speeds, you may see an improvement on the "Lift" issue. Also...lol...that loop in the front bumper on top make a sweeeet spot for a 1/2 socket for weight...sadly...I tried that too. I have faith in ya! Looking forward to the next run. You got this.

Not sure if you still have the center differential but a center diff locker will help deliver equal power to all the wheels. The center differential allows the fronts to diff out.

I agree with others. Your wing is causing more harm than good. It's adding leverage to the rear that u don't need. Your problem isn't traction in the rear. Just focus on the front. Keep it up. I'm enjoying the videos 👍

Try leveling the rear wing,,,to much down force will cause the front end to lighten up,,,causing a flip.....I fashioned a wing on the hood just above the headlights angled upwards for more down force so the front won’t contact the pavement like a lot of front spoilers will do,,and helps to keep the front end down,,,works for me,,,,,just a suggestion,,,,great stuff,,,sorry to see what happened,,,don’t give up.......🇺🇸👈🚘

MORE WEIGHT on the front end maybe. Other than the suspension components on the 4x4 chassis, there's not much going on for weight up on that end, and a majority of the overall weight is towards the center, and leaning even more towards the back end. Even small pieces of lead could help. Maybe like fishing weights? just gotta think of a way to secure them. EDIT: Also meant to mention the front splitter. Maybe think of something more like a spoiler that's angled or has a transitional curve to it... I think it might be beneficial to have something that's gonna put more downforce on the front end beyond just adding weight. I'm thinking some sort of rig like what you see in dirt track sprint cars.

I have similar set up on my slash what deleted my wheelie problem was front rock crawler shocks and front HR shocks for the rear keep it lowest possible then again I have a 69 nova ss body so more air dynamic than stock body

Get rid of the adapters with the allen keys and get the actual Xo-1 17mm hubs that us the pin. Since you are using xo-1 axles they are 6mm and will work. i just put them on mine because i was have a problem shredding the threads clean off of the stubs because that alan bolt

Wheelie bar, wing is not helping your front downforce which is why you are creating an airplane.

i know im a few years late but try adding a weight of some type to the front bumper.... i find a 32mm socket is enough weight to keep down the rowdiest 2wd 6s slash launches, but if you had the right front weight you'd have been able to get into 100% throttle

You need a speed run body, delta plastik make a few for the slash. I got around 65 on 2s and 2wd with the cr3 body, it really does matter.

Get rid of the rear wing. Pretty much lock your rear shocks. Make sure the ride hight is higher in the back.

You should change chassis if you like doing speed runs. Whatever I guess you love that chassis

Maybe try a rear diffuser? That might actually help push the car down without needing a rear wing. Also, maybe try a smaller wing. Too large of one will create too much downforce thus pushing the front up. And if you could somehow remove the front bumper that would create less drag, and maybe help with the aero a bit? Just a few guesses! I'm sure you'll get it all figured out soon! Also, I don't know if you've already done this or not, but I would recommend either running a LOT thicker diff fluid in the rear than the front. I'm currently trying to get a 1/16th E-Revo to 80mph, and when I feed the power in too much it would kick out the rear, and that would cause a bit of lift. If you get the power distributed evenly it might help even more!

Try adding BB’s in the front of the car, that should help a lot and you can remove and add the weight easily. Anything below the driveline will help keep the car on the ground, anything above what’s to transfer towards the rear.

Before I even watch this I must say its tough for me to watch with all the mishaps. Gotta give it to you though, you going at it.

Take wing off and toe front end in place you will have flexibility because it plastic and watch in slow motion to make sure your front tires are not getting bigger under speed if so take them off and turn them inside out and clean with alcohol and run good duck tape In them they will be more like a tire they will not balloon.

Dang the traxxas slash is week What do you need to do is go to bass pro shop and go get some weights there and put it on the front of your RC car and hot glue it or whatever you do and I should keep the front down that’s what I do

The rear wing isn't doing anything but lift the front, if it's doing anything at all being zip tied to the back.

I think the wing needs to be over the front wheels. Maybe find a way to mount the battery over the front wheels also. Or a sprint car wing.

I would remove the front slash bumper, different type body, a lower profile rear wing and either lower the front or add weight to the front. Great video and dont give up.

Making a Slash do 100 will be hard for sure. Nothing worth doing is simple. Keep trying.

Dude ill give u some advice hopefully youll take it. Cut the body.. the front fenders need to b cut in a way that u follow the highest point on the fender body line. And you can cut vents in the front grill. Under the hood between the windshield area. And remove material in sections of the rear around the fan decal and body post area. And remove material around the rear wheel well similair to the front. i can send you pictures of mine. No rear wing!! No rear downforce at all. Front splitter should b ok of its angled correctly.

Ok first thing your running on a groved surface road it will through off arrow dynamics and for running small tires it's like running off-road the groves in road giving too much grip causing wheels to grip to much causing lift try to do it on smooth black top you need wheel spin on tires .those groves counter acting front spoiler suction actions. To keep nose down . Also try a vw bug body with rear spoiler less lift on body. We have had great success with speed and jumping to 55 mph on 3 s no more back flipping at high speed.proline baja bug part number 3238 62

I don't thank so but the wing is not working wings are for curves not straight of ways but try pull the shocks all the way down in front try making a bug reflector for hood to push down unlike pull down force of front wing if you never give up you never fell...

You need a wheelie bar bud once I start going pass 80 a wheelie bar definitely helped

If you use a 1/16 erevo wing and mount you can mount a wheelie bar. Thats what you need to stop from flipping.

good try bro. look into getting a racing body for your slash no body is a no go. wind is gonna get stock everywhere. you need a nice racing body and keep the front lip get rid of the wing.

It’s the front splitter,You don’t have the same weight as say the xo-1 (13lb) to keep the nose down slash are about 5-6lbs aerodynamics

wheelie bar will work better my man. that wing is to heavy plus the speed readers weight thats the issue. also adjust the back shocks to the lowest so that the car won't have that air lift it when u go full speed.
