This movie was my introduction to bad movies. I remember seeing it on Netflix and watching on a whim. Never regretted it lmaooo. The ending had me in STITCHES. "You're nothing but a rubber shit" 🤣🤣🤣 Fun fact, the French director actually made this as a serious movie and was mad at the backlash it received.

It's a satire of movie industry and cliches of the slasher genre with almost everything being turned into a killer stuff, the tricycle go to hollowood in the end, for the sequel you know 😂 It wasn't meant to be a "serious" movie, but to joke around absurd humor and the industry and cliches done and done and done for money by producers... And it was probably quite fun to do that movie, they had a low budget, but it's quite nice They hadn't really big ambitions, but ther're a message in there

This looks like it was made by film students with a HUGE budget. It’s pretty professional looking, the shots are pretty creative, and you can see that there’s some actual structure to the plot. The people who made this generally know what they’re doing.

It's quite meta, you got spectators, characters, producer in this movie and the sheriff guy can be viewed as the director (the scene where he try to convince the policemen and women that it isn't real and that's it's over cuz nobody is watching now you can go home...but the producer came to tell him one spectator is still watching haha) It was actually made by pros, the director is quite better know in France, he's a music producer too And lot of his movies turns around absurd humor and satire This movie is a satire of the D movies with any pretext given to have a killer-thing, with the spectators, the fact that the reincarnated tricycle went to hollowood with his fellow tires in the end, etc etc... The had low budget for sure, it was filmed with a Canon not that expensive camera if I remember well, but no need that much money But it looks clean cuz the point wasn't to just do a D movie with a killer tire x)

Actually the movie is really a satire and it's really clear the parralel with the producer the spectators etc etc... it's stated directly in the "It's over" scene when the fake sheriff tries to convince the cops that it isn't for real etc... but one guy is still watching, the one that didn't eat the turkey, so the producer came and tell him that it's not over and that he must keep the show going x) It's not over thinking, it's really clear :)

If I'm remembering correctly the "audience" was the point and it wasn't making fun of art peope it was making fun of how normal non art people consume media using the binocular audience. Making it the actual worst kind of art persom movie. The guy in wheelchair represents people who won't let a series end by being down to watch it, which is shit because the people who beat dead horses for money are studio heads and people are just responding to accessible escapism because life is hard.

I think the movie is a metaphor for the film industry? The watchers are us, the movie viewers. We take whatever scraps we're thrown and have observations that don't affect anything. There's a mysterious figure controling everything and the police, so movie producers and the government. The tire is the film that is watched and controlled but eventually no longer controllable because film is art and it will carry its message no matter what the intentions were making it? I don't know for certain but also I've taken a lot of film theory classes lmao. it might just be bullshit.
