@@NaterTaterI've hit that wall myself already, but placing the router at any place inside the home beats that reality as well as having to toggle the paddle antennas, i do notice some fluctuations here and there in terms of ping (ie I also do gaming) so I want to do some testing if theres a more consistent latency to be at with the antenna.

I had 20mb download with tmhi then bought the suncomm seo6 pro with external antennae ports and bandlocking and reliably got to 60mb then added the waveform quad pro 4x4 and get 200mb reliably.

I just got the new t mobile home internet box and have been looking for an antenna exactly like this new waveform with a thin strip to go thru windows. I will be ordering one from your link below today. the t mobile gets 40mbps in the window inside the shop, if I move it outside about 5 ft in front of the window it was at, I get 280mbps. so I have been looking for an antenna, and this looks like the one to get. thanks for making this video
Do you plan on doing a review of the Wireless Haven 4x4 panel for the InvisaGig? I have the Waveform 4x4 panel but haven’t set it up yet. The PoE feature of the Wireless Haven intrigued me. I just don’t know how it will do in our 110 degree summer heat.

I might try the one that goes on the Window or can go Outside the Window because I tried the Waveform 4X4 Antenna Outside and it didn't give me faster Speeds or more reliable Speeds and I tried it in multiple places around the House. Do you have any suggestions or know why I don't get faster Speeds using the Waveform 4X4 Antenna? I get faster and more reliable Speeds with the Stock T-Mobile 5G Home Internet Gateway which is really odd to me because I would think an External Antenna would give me faster and more reliable Speeds but that doesn't seem to be the case for me.
You can look up loss ref frequency, type of cable and length. There are a lot of sites that cater to ham radio and pro radio operators. I use LMR 400 and it is even bad if you try to stretch the length. This is why high frequency transmitters are basically all in one package. Even in ham radio we will have the radio close to the tower with remote control of the radio you can really cheat the system. Of course we run at max power and large antenna. Now these high frequencies are a total disaster when you are dealing with the low power the units put out for cellular. That is the main issue with uplink, your power is so low unless you are sitting at a tower you have to fight and the strongest usually wins. If you could legally run a amp and get your swr low you could talk to a tower miles away but you will also hit the next tower past it and cause issues. We will be microwaving soon but it will have to be pro installed.
When you get around to testing with the ATT CGW450 can you please document which 4 (of the 8 available) ports you connected the antenna to...and the order. Thanks!

Just signed up for T mobile home internet. Received the G4SE and only getting at best 58 down and 12 up. B2 band for LTE and n71 for 5G. RSRP -96 to -110. RSRQ -13 to -10. SINR 0 to 5. Really not great results. Customer service thought my speeds were good 😩. I tried everywhere in my house and never got ant better, even with trying the location finder through the app. Thinking about a Waveform quad mini. Not sure how much it will help.
I just purchased a waveform quadmini antenna and a modified black arcadia gateway. Now all that I can get is 4g whereas on the unmodified arcadia router without the waveform antenna always got 5g and good download speeds but next to no upload speeds. Now since I can only get 4g band B71 I'm very limited on download speeds and my upload speed is about double what it was before but we are still talking 3mb or less. Any suggestions? I can only hope that the modified arcadia router isn't the issue. I live about 3 miles away from the t-mobile tower with the 5g signal. I"m not sure where the tower is where the 4g signal is coming from if it isn't the same tower. I'm on the very outskirts of signal range according to the t-mobile coverage map. Any suggestions would be super helpful.
Hey Nater. Been trying to navigate their website for individual items with no success attempted to use the chat and no response. Trying to get a cost for the way for mini the flat plate on the back to mount it to a pole and the cables needed bug for T-Mobile Gateway KVD 21. Trying to find the cost of individual items and how quickly they exponentially increase in price is very difficult. I obviously could use some guidance. Keep up the good work.
I had the 4x4 with sagecom T-Mobile and it actually made the service worse. Yes it had better signal but it would go to slow speeds (< 2mbps) quite often. Without it, it doesn't get so bad (20mbps). I also got a replacement router. I think it's my mounting location with not having any walls around it. Support said it was staying connected to a single tower. Any suggestions?

It depends which era cable you have now but yes most likely it will work. Its SMA on both sides. I would call or email Waveform and I'm sure they will help you out.
it flips the polarization on the antenna. for some it helps, others it hurts or makes no difference. Test both and see what gives the best performance.

Nater, HELP ! You seem to be the foremost authority on home internet. I have a question I hope that you might be able to shed some light on. I have a Cuddy 500 and and am connected through T mobile with there smart sim card. Now I get around 40mb download and 5mb upload while tethering with my phone. I only get 5 to 6 MB down and about the same upload with the smart sim. I have aimed the antenna at several locations also. I know these are terrible numbers I also have the Waveform antenna attached to the Cuddy Router. Why the bad numbers on the smart sim. Is there a local company that I can purchase a better sim card from to get better results. Any advice would help. Jim
You need to look into your SIM plan as it might throttle hotspot data and without modifications to the cudy ttl (and perhaps imei) it will be classified as hotspot data on the SIM. Cudy support should be able to assist with those settings.
Do you see any benefit in upgrading to the quad pro if you have the previous 4x4 version? I am considering the quad mini for the RV but wondering if there is a ROI if i get the new quad pro or just keep what i have and purchase the mini?
Would you agree that the older 4x4 log periodic antenna is still better overall if you have line of sight to the cell tower? Just quickly comparing the gain and charts, it appears to still be much better than the new pro
I have T-Mobile and have a couple of questions. How do I connect one of these to my unit? I don’t see any sort of connection or plug. Also, I saw something about T-Mobile slowing users speed down if they use too much download capacity. Doesn’t this kind of put a chill on getting one of these antennas?

The slowing down users is related to the amount of data used, not the speed so it does not change the rationale for an external antenna.

In order to get 4 separate antennas to work as a 4x4 MIMO you'd have to know how far apart to space them and what orientation so they are cross polarized. Much easier to just buy a 4x4 antenna.

Haha! I've been testing them. Actually travelling and at an airport as we speak. But I can tell you that you are all set with an "old" 4x4 panel. It is similar performance to the QuadPro. The QuadPro just comes with the benefit of the more customizable cable length, more flexible cable and the window entry cable.
Wouldn't you say noise to ratio of 20 to 19 is good for 4G and 5g I get like 250 down and 20 up you think that's good speed for T-Mobile home internet do you think I would need an antenna to get faster speeds
I can't believe they made the Cables shorter on these that's not good because what if you need to run it farther away? I don't think that was a good idea because with the Original Waveform 4X4 Antenna you got a 30FT really thick reliable heavy well made Cable. Unfortunately just like most Companies it looks like they are making stuff cheaper but still Selling stuff for the same Price or more. They also stopped Selling the Original Waveform 4X4 Antenna on Waveforms Website I couldn't find it it's still available on Amazon but for how long who knows and if they stop Selling the Original Waveform 4X4 Antenna I think that would be a mistake especially considering that has a better Cable in my opinion.
not exactly, they have a 1.2TB data threshold at which they lower your cellular priority/QCI level which might or might not result in lower speeds. It's still unlimited data technically.
Are they carrying microwave signals directly on the coax??? I hope not. If these companies were smart, they would down convert the microwave signals to something like 70MHz to reduce signal loss. I'm a ham. I used to use 7/8 heliax on 900 MHz because of horrendous signal losses at SHF frequencies. Every 3 Db loss is a loss of half your signal. What a pain!
