Waveform MIMO 4×4 how to connect it to the newest T-Mobile home Internet, because the portal names are different. For example, in one and M2 and then your device a1 a2
I just purchased a waveform quadmini antenna and a modified black arcadia gateway. Now all that I can get is 4g whereas on the unmodified arcadia router without the waveform antenna always got 5g and good download speeds but next to no upload speeds. Now since I can only get 4g band B71 I'm very limited on download speeds and my upload speed is about double what it was before but we are still talking 3mb or less. Any suggestions? I can only hope that the modified arcadia router isn't the issue. I live about 3 miles away from the t-mobile tower with the 5g signal. I"m not sure where the tower is where the 4g signal is coming from if it isn't the same tower. I'm on the very outskirts of signal range according to the t-mobile coverage map. Any suggestions would be super helpful.
@@NaterTater yes the KVD21. The seller had labeled the wires coming out of the device as M, M1 M2, and D. He gave a picture that said that M goes to Connector 1, and M1 goes to connector 2, and M2 goes to 3 and D goes to 4. Thanks for replying back. That's quicker than waveform email support.
Also on my unmodified KVD21 the 4g band I pick up is B66 but on the modified KVD21 with the quadmini I pick up 4g band B71. As for 5g on the unmodified gateway I pick up band N41.

I subscribe to Sling TV and I can say using my iPhone first to set location using gps works. I had an older iPhone that I retained instead of trading in, no SIM card installed. When I received my gateway device I used the iPhone to setup before any other device and had no issues streaming Sling TV. Sling doesn’t have locale live tv, but does have live news like cnn, msnbc, and live sports. MLB app also works. All of my devices are Apple products so I can’t speak to other makes. I have not tried without iPhone so I can’t speak to that. Why risk it?
Unfortunately Yarbo seems to be scamming people. After a year and a half they just delayed their m1 lawn mower again for a wifi sensor that connects to the core body - like punishing those who didn't pay them the extra $1800 for an upgrade.
I have seen some delays and upset customers. I don't think they are intentionally scamming but I can understand customer concern and frustration if things continue to be delayed. I know they are working hard to try to deliver as promised.
@NaterTater Unfortunately they continue breaking their promises. They told everyone on a call they would offer a price to receive the M1 and upgrade to the new version (before they even released the first version). They then back peddled and said they would not offer that and then told everyone who signed up for the upgrade that if they didn't pay the fee, they wouldn't receive the products they ordered. They are a disgrace and I recommend people stay away.
What would causes my 4x4 MIMO to connect to an antenna that is substantially further away? I have an antenna that is literally a few thousand feet away but these antennas still connect to an antenna further away. Im confused!
Why wouldn't you pre fill your crack with a type I Portland cement and sand mix, it's cheap and rock hard and it's not gonna settle and wash out and then apply the epoxy sand mix over top?
I just tried this, and they now have a camera mode that allows you to move your phone and shows you the line of sight on the tower. From there, you can open your compass app and jot down the bearing, then translate it to a map. Hope this helps someone!
NaterTater…love the content……I’ve been a TMobile Home Internet user for a couple of years……How do I get them to issue me the new G4AR gateway? I have the black Arcadian one right now, but want the new one so I can do the antennna……can I just ask for it? Do I have to have a tech support issue recorded first?
Yeah my app was all wonky as well . But I’m having issues with mine . Can connect my phones but not the laptops or the PlayStation .and I was just watching you with the WiFi on but it kept stalling. Just got it tonight . Called the number it says they are only there till 4 pm
🛑 Don't do it... I ordered two of those from EIOT Club, two weeks later and they haven't shipped them yet. Having a bad experience with costumer service as well, I do not recommend.
Let's say hypothetically you purchase the home internet plan in a non-qualifying area and try to activate it. Are they going to ding you with the Away plan, or are they only going after customers that are roaming with them?
Hi Nate: I have the new ASC version of the Verizon cube and am having trouble setting up my Asus AC2900 router. Have you created a video on the ASC version? I have fallowed the video for the ASK box but am not getting any internet. Thank you for your help in this matter. Randy
Literally went to a normal t-mobile store and they wouldn't take back my old gateway. T-mobile is about to lose a customer. Their customer service is getting a little ridiculous.
Thank you for trying so hard to show us these antennas. The problem is on RU-vid at 4K you cannot see what you can see. You try the impossible to show 2 videos as once, when what we need is just one close up high magnification video of what exactly you are doing. I went 4K and my starlink internet could not keep up with the download properly. That aside, we cannot see the the parts you are talking about. Now, thanks for explaining L1 L2 L3 L4 but you don't state the frequency of each antenna. L1 and L2 go together as do L3 and L4 , so I assume that L1 and L2 are like 1600 and 1800 mhz and L3 and L4 might be 5.4 and 5.5 ghz etc. I am in Canada and tried this modem today, and it performed more poorly than the smaller rectangular modem or portable small brick modem. I'm looking at making 4 Can Antennas feeding the modem. What would be good is a description of the conversion cables required to go SMA Thanks for the video but I might as well just listen to the audio as the video is next to useless.
is there a way to buy a gateway or have your own? So I dont void the warranty of my rental device? In the past I've used old satelite dishes and modified them to hold a emptied soup can with coax in it to boost a signal attached to a router of mine.
Nate, I realize this is an older video. However, with the Elsys Amplimax Ultra 5g finally beginning to hit the US market, I was wondering if you may be planning a review? I know you mentioned the 5g unit coming down the road in this video. Peter Carcione has done a review on the 5g unit and it's very impressive. However, you live much more rural, like I do, and it would be cool to see you do a review, too. Understood if not, though.
Great resolution, but I’m returning mine due to the terrible software! For now, I’m sticking with Blink and Ring. I may come back to Eufy at some point, but they need to do some serious work with the software and some connectivity issues.
I thought that re-used tires have very harmful chemicals for humans, especially kids, to be touching and breathing regularly? I thought there were similar issues arising around school sporting field with fake turf that used the little rubber pellets in the turf. I saw cases of these young kids who played sports throughout their childhood getting cancer and other medical issues apparently due to the rubber in the fake turf.
Nah, the artificial turf issue is very different than these rubber nuggets that are far from airborne particals and in fact are different rubber materials as well. I have no concerns here other than I would use them as mulch for a garden.
Love the channel! I am ending a contract with Comcast... I have had my own modem and wireless router, and then out in the garage I had another router that was a wireless access point so internet signal was meshed so to speak and seamless. Can the same be done with this T Mobile device? I just got a new T-Mobile to try and it is white in color. Curios if I can have just one network like the comcast setup. -Thx-Keith
@@NaterTater I will give it a try and let you know, it sure would be nice not having to change all of this… I have a few Roku type of TVs and six security cameras around our facility . I'll get back with you. Thanks and I enjoy your channel.
@@NaterTater (I may have watched to many videos) just verifying that I should disable the WiFi on the Tmobile router and allow my WiFi routers to work? I think that's the takeaway
Okay, so I've installed my new exterior antenna the memo 2x2 by waveform. Okay, in the comments I didn't check. Everybody's but I was curious and sorry for bothering everybody on memorial Day weekend. I hooked everything up. My speeds have increased from approximately 10. Download to 50 to 60. Download put. My upload is virtually nothing. It's maybe 1 to 5 if it even reads it on the upload. The reason I did all this is because my internet the past 6 months has dropped to nothing why I don't know unless they're just overloaded on their towers. But back to my situation here so I hooked antenna one to m1 and antenna 2 to M2. Is there anybody out there that has hooked either one of those leads to anything else and got a better signal? The reason I ask if they've gotten a better signal through either four or d on the other parts is due to the fact pulling them off and putting them back on them. Fred, I'm going to break them. They're so small and tedious to get on and off I'm afraid I'm going to break them if I keep popping them off and on for checking speeds through different ports.
First of all, thank you for your videos, your very smart about these things‼️ I just purchased the new T-Mobile gateway. I can't seem to connect to my Google Mini which runs a lot of appliances throughout my apartment. I only have one line where my Xfinity had two lines. I feel kind of naked without my Google Mini, can ask it questions or nothing. Please help me 😎
I hear ya, I like my google mini's too. I suggest you look to make a separate 2.4ghz only network and have google connect to that. they tend to have trouble with wifi band steering when you have 2.4ghz and 5ghz with the same SSID.
@@NaterTater My man, Thank you so much‼️ I went into the T-Mobile app and you're able to create four different lines. So have one 5 hertz and one 2.4 hertz, and now I have everything working. If I didn't see your video I wouldn't have a clue. Again thank you so much 😎
This video is the one i used a year ago to turn off wifi. Now tryin to use the code again to turn it back on and no joy. I get an error code back in this txt file "t-mobile-wifi-info.txt" { "result": { "error": "AuthorizationError", "message": "Not Authorized, Access token is missing or invalid", "statusCode": 401 } } Solution?
That means wrong password. You can try the newer app ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qy-f8xfPk4s.html or just press the reset button on the gateway.
I put mine back together and there is no problems with it. No sign that I was even in it. My question is when I return it do I also return the T Vision remote also? I do not know if it is even usable with out tmobile internet. Any help here, thanks.
