Ingredients:
Cooked chickpeas 130g
Lotus root 320g
Mushrooms 2
Carrot 50g
Onion half
Cumin powder ½ tsp
Chili powder 5g
Corn starch 1.5 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Turmeric powder (optional) 1/4 tsp
Dipping sauce:
(Soaked 4 hours in advance) raw cashew nuts 50g
Lime juice 1.5 tbsp
Maple syrup or other sweetener 1tbsp
Coriander to taste
Cooked sesame seeds 2 tbsp
TIPS
1. If you don’t like fried food, you can fry the balls with a small amount oil until the surface is golden brown, and then steam it in a steamer for about 8 minutes
2. You don't need to make the dipping sauce. After the meatballs are fried, they can be used as soup ingredients. The ledtovers can be frozen. You can also add one or two meatballs when cook the noodles.
