I've been struggling with drawing the torso and the hip area for a long time. But after watching this i got a lot better. This sketching method with very simple shapes seems to work very well for me. I actually understand what I'm drawing, and I can now judge proportions more accurately. Did tweak it just a bit, but I still use the basic shapes for hip and torso. Thanks

I barely know jack about anatomy, but after watching this and trying it out with a few poses, I'm already seeing great improvement in my work. Even though the muscle segment was simple, it still gave me a lot more than looking at a reference on the web and trying to figure out how they connect and contort at different angles.
