Ingredients for loboda borscht (4 liters):
- 9 bunches of young loboda (a good handful);
- 50-60 g red beets;
- 50-60 g carrots;
- 50-60 g parsley root or parsnip;
- 50-60 g celery root;
- 1 kapia pepper or bell pepper;
- 300 ml tomato juice;
- 1 bunch of green onions;
- 1 medium red onion;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 60 g basmati rice, which gives the appearance of mini noodles;
- 20-30 ml sunflower oil;
- 1 bunch of parsley;
- 1 bunch of dill;
- 1-2 bunches of fresh lovage;
- 300 ml sour borscht, or to taste;
- salt and pepper to taste;
- approx. 3 liters of water;
