Good luck getting the T-Mobile router. I have had a T-Mobile Business account for 6 years. I recently purchased the larger WaveForm MIMO antenna from Amazon on sale. 2 months later, after T-Mobile refused to sell the above router, I sent the antenna back to Amazon for a refund... thankfully they complied. So, get the router first, if you can before buying the antenna. ☑

There is no reason to get the 4GAR. I have been a T-Mobile customer for 15 years!!! I can't get it. They had me open a business account, promising to get it... still could not get it. Forget it , it's junk. I have reviewed better routers that do 5GSA and allow you to band lock. So are these new gateways with external hookups hard to come by? I've had two G4SE's in a month span. Brand new T-Mobile customer. I thought the first was unit i recieved was faulty. Turned out to not be the case. It's just not a very good unit at all fme. I had better luck with the Sagemcom 5688 gateway from an internal antenna and connection standpoint. It almost seems like these G4SE's rely on a external antenna, as the internals are very unreliable. Or I just got two bad ones in a row? Idk....

Curious if you had any thoughts on the new Waveform QuadPro 4x4 MIMO vs the previous version. I have the previous 4x4 MIMO and curious if it is worth taking a look at.

So far they look very similar. The original one had type-N connectors and this one has SMA connectors. Also this new one finally has a ground for lightning. Not a big deal for me in California but other places that stuff touches down! Performance expected to be very similar.

I think I’m going to grab one of these quad mini. B66 is -96, -7, 11; n41 is -101, -5, 13. My RSRQ is consistently excellent, but the other scores consistently mid. I have one major question…. Why is this unit twice as much on the waveform website as it is on Amazon? Am I missing something? Will this improve my ping? I am surrounded by towers (according to cellmapper) but my ping averages 40-45, not ideal for gaming! Just want to say thank you for opening my eyes and greatly appreciate your content!

Does this antenna works only 5g or 4g lte too? I have a Cudy Router 4G LTE Cat 18 4x4 mimo antenna, and looking for a small 4x4 mimo antena to mount on the roof of my motorhome. Thanks

Good question. Antenna don't care about use cases, just frequencies. This antenna supports 600MHz - 6GHz, so 4G,5G, WiFi or even Bluetooth would work.

@@PeterC408 asked this because a waveform technician told me by email it wouldn't work in Portugal... but.... after some google search found this "In Portugal Vodafone, NOS, and MEO offer their 4G signals on 800/1800 MHz frequency bands"... Since this antenna supports 600MHz - 6GHz it shoud work right? And im looking only to work in 4G/LTE frenquencies. Thank you a lot!

Yes, this should work. Unlike a radio that is granted specific frequencies in different countries, antennas cover a whole spectrum 800/1800 is well within this antennas wheelhouse.

I modified my gateway with external antennas over 2.5 years ago and to be fair, the network has improved since then. I was probably getting 120/30Mbps but this is a huge improvement ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wXSpbP8NuWw.html

I just got the new gateway. I'm getting about 100 down 10 to 20 up. I'm mostly connect to n 71 but couple times I connected to n41. So I'm hoping the so I'm hoping the mini will give me a great increase in speed. My signal is mostly weak with an occasional good.

I have the new white t-mobile modem and just hooked up the quadmini. However, I noticed that my 5G band was listed as n0. I didnt see this an a band option. If i restart the router, it connects to n41, but then at some point switches back to n0. I am still having latency issues as well as slow download speeds. Any idea what is going on? Thanks for your help.

Did you change to the external antennas? It is a firmware setting? What kind of signal scores are you getting RSRP, RSRQ, SiNR? That will show you the difference.

Wow they are expensive. Which ones you recommend if you live in NY I’m on a budget right now and I’ve really want to put up my internet speed right now I’m getting like a bout 100 to 150 mbps with the new T-Mobile white router.

Fist you need to know if your scores need to be improved: RSRP, RSRQ and SiNR but... assuming that they do... Just like Audio Equipment where the rule of thumb is spend half of your budget on Speakers and the other half on the Amp, same applies here. That is a good Gateway and all you need is a good antenna. This one at $199 (base kit) should work wonders for you.

So, I bought the QuadMini: 4x4 MIMO External Antenna | Omnidirectional I installed it in my window the first day it was working fine I was getting SINR of 20-21. Now I’m getting the same shitty speeds that I had before 16-17 speed that I was getting before the antenna. What do you think I should do to fix it.

I have a Parsec Husky Pro 7-in-1 Antenna. It says it is, 5G, Omni-Directional, 4x4 MIMO LTE, 2x2 WiFi, GPS, IP-67 Rated. Does anyone know if I could connect this to the T-Mobile 5G Internet Gateway (Sagemcom Fast 5688W)?

Sure, I see no reason why it couldn't. You would still have to open the radio and add the small iPex connectors amzn.to/4bDj67z and pull out the for signals as SMA connectors... then it should work just fine.

When you tested the download speed with the mini 4x4 how did you have the antenna mounted?

I mounted it up on the roof facing the same direction as all my other 4x4 mimo antennas (I tried to make it as fair as possible).

@@PeterC408 I was planning on mounting mine on the window upstairs so I don't have to climb out on the roof and mount a pole. Have you tested the suction cup window mount speeds?

I have not tested the suction cups. Make sure that your window does not have UV film on it or it will block waves.

I can't believe they made the Cables shorter on these that's not good because what if you need to run it farther away? I don't think that was a good idea because with the Original Waveform 4X4 Antenna you got a 30FT really thick reliable heavy well made Cable. Unfortunately just like most Companies it looks like they are making stuff cheaper but still Selling stuff for the same Price or more. They also stopped Selling the Original Waveform 4X4 Antenna on Waveforms Website I couldn't find it it's still available on Amazon but for how long who knows and if they stop Selling the Original Waveform 4X4 Antenna I think that would be a mistake especially considering that has a better Cable in my opinion.

It's a smaller more indoor antenna. It makes sense to have a shorter cable also shorter cables mean better signal. I only ran 30 ft because I wanted to compare it exactly to the previous

First move to an area that is in coverage and on the fringe of coverage. Then beg like hell, apparently. I open different accounts and still could not get one. The promised to send me one but 2 different gateways arrived instead. Caused significant accounting problems!!!

I'm helping a retired friend who lives on top of the hill and this looks like a great option. If you search it they don't show having access. But they get a bar with a regular cell phone. I know with the antenna they're going to be sitting pretty. They're not tech savvy, but I'm excited to learn and be able to help other retired friends too. Again, thanks for the great information for all these years.

I have the tmobile antenna and it make my internet from around 150 down and 40 up to around 400 down and 100 up if this antenna it's so bad wonder what kind of downloads I would get with this one gonna order one to take a look if it's on Amazon

Signal, Signal, Signal. Look at your RSRP, RSRQ and SiNR and if it could be further improved, I would get it. You want -80, -10 and 20 respectively.

Remember how I told you my tower was upgraded and my speeds where 300-700 now I’m getting freaking 30 😭 because there upgrading my tower and another tower so I’m getting connected to another tower that’s over 2 miles away and my speeds are slow until they get done that’s what they said so that’s all I know t for now I’m loss tbh when I called them I kept getting mixed stories every time
