Hi Avenuex, I would love to hear your opinion on a K drama named "Reborn Rich". I think would be a nice close to this year in regards to shows that top your list. The show so far is really good. Merry Xmas 🙂
Anytime I see those ridiculous crash kisses I can't help but think how many people got their front teeth knocked out because of these scenes, cos you know at least one idiot tried this IRL.
I didn't try it intentionally, but it happened to me... LOL, RL drama moment... When I was walking on a steep path down the hill with my husband walking infront of me, I slipped on the soil and shouted out, he turned arround to catch me and we actually huged and landed with our lips together... it was a very funny moment and we laughed a lot about it...yee, we didn't knock out our teeth otherwise we probably wouldn't laugh...
This is me and my family's favourite drama😆 Its hilarious and just so much fun 🤣 But Fiery Priest ruined Vencenzo for me because I couldn't help compare the two. Vencenzo felt like a mediocre version of what season 2 could've looked like
Absolutely agree with everything you say. Again. Sometimes I imagine Avenue X and I are sitting watching a C-drama at the same time (thousands of miles apart), just for an instant, and think "she's going to tear this scene into tiny shreds and I already totally agree with her, for exactly the same reasons!" 😁😁
I'm always satisfied wih your videos and uploads, I don't usually say this often but you are very underrated and deserve more views and fans watching your content. There are tons of dramas you recommended (posted a video about) that I've watched together with my parents which ended very good and all are qualitied goods. Thankyou!
For me, the most ridiculous moment from Who Rules The World is when inner qi can be a photocopy machine 😅 like wth, that is the very first time i ever see that idea 😂 so convenient. is this xianxia or wuxia? 😂 oh and another one, inner qi gone yet can still jump that far and move that fast when got attacked 😂
This episode made me laugh, I was expecting the opium and lusi throwing her sword into the cannon to make this list and it did. I still can't get my head around how throwing the sword into the canon can stop the war.
This year gave some really good moments and some ridiculous af moments. Let's see what 2023 has in store for Chinese dramaland. Also Avenue x looks sooo beautiful here 🙈❤️
For the second year someone from "The Untamed" is in ridiculous moments of year, in 2021 was Liu Haikuan weird zombie drama wheres he jumps from roof and gets up like nothing happened, now is Cao Yuchen fixing the roof godly Cast members should avoid roof scenes in 2023
I no longer have patience for how most dramas execute most romantic tropes. And it’s not like I think tropes themselves are bad. I understand why an old trope is still fun to watch if it’s well-executed. But most dramas are like the “ridiculous moments” listed in this video. They’re doing these tropes BADLY.
8:00 That reminds me, in 2015 our police (the Indonesian police) burn 3.3 Ton of weed as part of their anti drug operation. Because the wind was blowing right to the village area, It was said that apparently the whole village felt dizzy the entire day which is a polite way to say that everyone was high. It is pretty ridiculous, but the fact that it can still happen in the modern time is just hilarious.
Uganda's police also did it and everyone present got high. We saw the journalists and police men get confused, repeat the same words over and over and burst into maniac laughter. I think a similar thing happened in India recently
Yes, I've heard several times of several tons of marijuana bring burned. Seems idiotic but what other form of disposal is there? If they tossed it in a landfill it would probably be stolen or they might end up with a whole new crop after a while 🤣
I googled. Incineration is the most common way to destroy drugs. US government agencies do so in more "controlled" environment, EPA-approved incinerators and DEA labs, which obviously require much more resources, security and infrastructure.
Thanks for the list. I think the most ridiculous moment of cdramas this year is the entire premise of LEsson in Love. I don't know if the story is about a kind-hearted righteous rebel teacher who gets into trouble or if she is truly attracted to the hero/student. I will just say that I was a teacher before i retired and as a teacher this heroine is seriously naive in how she deals with a kid who has a crush on her. I watch their scenes and the heroine's self-righteousness all the while rolling my eyes.
not too ridiculous but it made me go "damn gurl???" was the scene in ep 1 of New Life Begins where Li Wei just has endless supply of food in her clothes
It seems like the Slow-mo first meeting is in every Rom Com as is the accidental kiss and fall-catch-dip and probably many other tropes. I'm sure I'm at the point where I'm unconsciously rolling my eyes every time.
This is the reason why I was so picky in watching period/xianxia dramas. Because most of the time, people gush about the visuals or how “tropey cute and romantic” the setups are but if you really watch in a more perceptive and logical view like how Avenuex do, it’s really crappy! I often got baited by the recommendations on fb community groups or how they will tell you to try it because “it’s good” But every time I do, most of the time I will drop the drama lol
the last moment 😂😩 here's your trophy 🏆. you know what, i hate whenever they do that in dramas!! like there's literally a straight road but they still can't see each other then boom something happened. 😭 not making any sense. anyway i had a good laugh😬
🤣🤣🤣Avenue X made my day, I laughed so hard watching this video. it's sad and very happy at the same time to think that she will be able to make the same video at the end of 2023. I'm convinced of it!😝
How come nobody commented on mei-mei's FANTASTIC clip titles? The Godly Roof Job? I mean, I'm dead. Also: Would somebody PLEASE write the movie translators and tell them 'shining' is spelled with one n. One, people. OMG that makes me crazy.
Yes! The number of people "shinning" is ridiculous. Could someone also remove "you can be rest assured" from the drama translators' dictionary? It's either "you can be assured" or "you can rest assured".
haha i laughed so much with your video thank you! The ridiculous scene i remember, the 1rst drama: bad make-up i can believe in this scene lol, the other CGI drama, the slow mo with wolf drama and the most ridiculous moment drama in 1rst place at the end, this bicycle moment was so WTF ridiculous and the girl's face didn't get scared by that, not even the guy who would pushed the girl
Jiao Ren is the most blank face actor I have ever seen. Just stiff face with no expressions at all. If you make a combination of some clips of all his dramas and put them together, it will literally look like he is playing just one character.
I'm so happy it's not only me that feels this way. I couldn't watch Blue Whisper because of him and in many of his dramas, he continues to give us nothing.
Lol I am re-watching The Blue Whisper with my sister who hasn’t seen it. I know about the muscle suit but she hasn’t caught on. She’s been ooing and awwing over his “abs” the whole time 😂😂
Great video and I compliment your hair and makeup! I have one from my favorite drama of 2022, the contemporary police comedy-drama "Ordinary Greatness." In any early episode, two groups of residents start a near-riot when a cat is accused of killing a chicken. After quelling the conflict, the police chief summons the peace offering to settle the dispute: live replacement chickens. So, do Chinese police in big cities have a special way to quickly obtain live chickens in emergencies? Is there a special budget line item to pay for restitution chickens? I laughed so hard I cried!
This is not related to the video but recently I have been hooked on this underrated drama 胆小鬼 Nobody Knows which AvenueX said she was really excited for a few months ago. It's a really well written crime/suspense/teenage coming of age drama, was wondering why no review from AvenueX
I knew your first one would Mirror of Twin Cities! 😂 I also couldn't bring myself to watch Blue Whisper because of that one issue, lol. I have stopped CD's this past Summer as I can no longer deal with the dubbing and lack of new ideas, thus me changing to KD's. I look forward to once the CCP is gone and the entertainment industry is free to be creative! Also, let's all remember what China has been going through. It is VERY unlikely they had access to experienced CGI people, 😢.
Dont want to comment anything regarding the body suit 😂 but I personally think Ren Jialun's Chang Yi intro scene is like one of the coolest character intro in the history of Cdramaland. I mean, jumping out from his captured box, hitting everyone with his magnificent tail then appear from the water like a wild beast -- I mean, can it be more cooler than that? It was perfectly shot and directed!
That last one is sooo funny. What was the director thinking? 😭😭 I think the Newton one isn't so bad if it's a wuxia drama. If people can fight in mid-air, they should be able to kiss in mid-air too, right? 😭 Anyway, love your makeup and styling 💕❤
Hats off to AvenueX for spending her time on not only watching good dramas but also the ridiculous ones. And then spending more time on making this list of scenes. Most of the dramas on the list I have dropped after 1ep at most, some even after 10mins of watch. Can't sit through them. Some of them I haven't watched a single scene. Some of the ridiculous dramas that I somehow completed watching are Hello sharpshooter, Legally romance, Who rules the world, Nice to meet you again, Murder at kairoutei, Out with a bang, Are you safe? and more. Sharpshooter, Nice to meet you and Are you safe are the worst ones that I watched. I was actually angry at myself for watching them.
I loved Who Rules The World except the pacing was horrible and I almost felt like all the cute stuff was just The Untamed over again that had a baby with political Game Of Thrones. At least she wasn't a damsel in distress the entire time.
@@darladay4766 That I agree. Even though the story was ridiculous, the characters were not so much. Atleast their actions were not. But what I least like in Who rules the world, is the ending. Both ML and FL were the rulers of their state with immense responsibility and what they did was to escape and live in a secluded forest . Whyyyyy???
@@deyayona honestly I hated the ending. I watch fantasy to forget the real world. Everything about that show was rightfully pure fantasy, so my suspension of disbelief was pretty high. Then that ending, with the reason why they abandoned their govt duties (to avoid spoilers for anyone else, I'll just say 10 years). Nothing screams real world more than that. The last ep, not finding some loopholes for that decision just ruined it for me.
So far I watched like 10 episodes of the first part and only reason I keep watching is how cute and innocent the ML character is, and that's it. Everything else is just boring indeed.
