The Stark sisters are opposites: Sansa behaves as a lady who is being groomed for marriage to nobility. Arya is a tomboy who questions and rebels against expectations of girls because she is interested in archery and swordplay, physical agility. Their basic differences annoy each other. Great reaction and discussion.❤

It seemed and sounded to me like Ned was having flashbacks of his own experiences with war at the end when he was watching Arya at her lesson, and probably fearing for her safety in the future if she does end up becoming a warrior of some kind where her life might be in danger.

This! As his expression changed, you could hear the clang of steel swords rather than the "thunk" of the wooden practice swords. He was definitely having flashbacks (possibly a touch of PTSD) of past combat.

9:10 No Aerys didn't have dragons, dragons went exctinct decades before that. After dragons died out, targaryans used "wildfire"... A pyrotechnioc product, similar to real-work "greek fire".

Also, she just saw the slave whipped, probably to ‘encourage’ him to walk faster and keep pace with the khalasar. I think at least part of the reason she decided to order the Dothraki horde to stop was to give those who were walking (mostly slaves) a chance too get a little break.

Did you recognize the dagger? At this point, no one knows its significance, who once owned it, etc. They only know that it is Valyrian steel. And the dragons died out about a century before. The Dance of Dragons is the beginning of the end.

Yes, Ned's father and older brother died in that room, I think they explain it in the lore of the first season, but for that you have to finish this season and you are just starting, mi Dulce Niña de Verano, Arya looks more like Lyana (Ned's sister who died), is more Stark, more wild, Sansa is more similar to her mother Cat, she is more Tully, obedient and cultivated in being a lady.

In fact, targaryan dynasty was doomed from the start. They were almost the only remaining house with "dragon blood". If they had intermarried with other, non-valeryan house, they would have lost the ability to control the dragons, and that was the source of their power. So they didn't intermarry, but consanguinity led to targaryans ending up mad. In any case, they were doomed.

Sansa is the quiet, applied type who gets praised for her work. She likes to fit in because she's good at it and gets rewarded. Arya is the loud, impulsive type who gets corrected all the time. She hates being told to do things and grows to be a contrarian.

Cersei was not spoiling Joffrey, she was contradicting every one of his impulses and telling him the truths of ruling, giving him good advice. As a future king, Joffrey will have to care about his image and keep his weaknesses to himself. He must understand that he has a role in shaping it, he cannot take it for granted. She tells him about the realities of a prince's marriage and asks him to play the role of an acceptable husband, then she speaks of the need for alliances in a feudal system. She also tells him to consider the motivation of the people who serve him. He comes up with the prospect of a central army fit to an absolute monarch and she answers that this is not what he will be. Joffrey is receiving a lesson in realism. A king does not simply get everything he wants. Finally, she tells him to be wary of everything: "everyone who isn't us is an enemy". This apparent paranoia is inherited from her husband, the winner of a rebellion. An ally is not a friend and a king must know this. Cersei is smarter than people think she is.

No, I agree with everything that you mentioned and I think of her as a very intelligent woman. I only said that she spoils him because of the “you are my darling boy and the world will be exactly as you want it to be” part.
