I had one of those belt buckle Guns when I was a kid. The (single, stickum,) cap was there only for sound effect. The projectile was spring loaded into the shootnshell case. The projectile(plastic) would release from the muzzle with or without a cap. There was zero accuracy. The projectile would shoot from the buckle in a random angle, as much as 90degrees of uncertainty. The spring loaded plastic projectile had very little energy, and very little mass. If it was shot at point blank range directly into someone's eye, it would hurt. Other than that getting hit by one of these was about the same as riding a bicycle and being struck by a large flying insect going the other way.

My favorite all time dangerous toy was called Intertech. Intretech was a line of battery operated water guns. You could set them to be fully or semi automatic. They were made of all black plastic and we're perfectly identical to the real thing. In fact they even came with clips that you fill with water and load like a real gun. You could get 45's, AK's and even M16,s. They were finally banned because they looked too real and got some kids killed. Yup, somebody actually thought that was a good idea. NOT!!

I think that you should have put this one toy (im sorry I can remember what its called) i believe it came out in the 40's or maybe the 50's even but it was basically a kid version of a chemistry set that actually came with radioactive material in it. I just dont honestly see how that was even a possible idea product to sell to the public let alone childern.
