In this video I'm finding out what the top speed and range is with the smaller 12Ah battery, the battery that has about 700Wh capacity. Top speed at: 1min 17sec Range is at: 5min 40sec Music: Itro & Tobu - Cloud 9 [NCS Release]
This was an excellent top speed and range test. I have had my Mototec Fat Tire Electric scooter (same style as this one) for a few weeks now. It is 2000 w, 18 AH battery and 60v. It has a top speed of 32 mph and a range of 20 miles. It goes fast and has a lot of torque, but I need to test it just to see. - Great video!
Hey there! I recently came across a new project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 eBike and it's got some outstanding features. The most exciting part is that it can be charged indoors! No need to worry about finding an outdoor charging station. Plus, the Morph eBike comes with a powerful 750W motor, delivering impressive torque and a top speed of 20mph. The 80mm front suspension and puncture-resistant fat tires make it perfect for any terrain. With its Smart Saddle Detection+ feature, you can easily track your fitness goals and stay motivated. The Morph eBike also allows you to ride sustainably by converting your indoor workout into CO2-free miles. It's definitely worth checking out!
Thanks! It's called "GPS Speedometer, Distance Meter" and made by Smart Mobile Tools. I use it on android, for free, and seems to work OK. It keeps the screen on at all time (if selected) and gives a black background which is better on camera.
Thanks for the video! I hope you can answer a question for me without having had the hassle but how do you get your tires changed? I took my hub to a car tire change shop and they could not do it! Any advice? Thanks from Philly!
Thank you for this review. needed info was good. Now I need to know how to amp the power factor by 2 and get 35 miles and smoke out of it. If it can be done then we buy one and whatever else needed to get it here. 30 mph, 35 mile ride, little more zip in the speed boost and we have it.
Well I had an crazy idea of putting another rear motor as the front wheel, and another speed controller for that. All wheel drive & twice the power. That would be unique! Not twice the speed or range tho...
@@BasinBjorn hey B, man, you reckon a guy of 120kgs would ride this ok? Would hills/inclines be too much? Is yours still going strong? Could you put some weights in a bag and load up to do a video and test for me? Thank you man and sorry for so many questions :-)
Thank you for this video!!!! No one is posting videos of these fat scooters, I really appreciate your video with a good first person view. I saw they now have a 2000w version, have you upgraded? Know anything about that bad boy? :)
Hey, I sold my 1000w scooter a while back and havent got a new one yet. Garage is full at the moment. But considering to make a video testriding a few of these from a local seller. Well see.
@@BasinBjorn well after looking at scooters daily I found what I'm looking for.. The skooza k1s, it's costly but it delivers. 28mph, 35 mile range, aluminum frame, they have every replacement part available on their website. I may order one this week. I want it to be my daily driver for work, gym, grocery, beach. I will definitely make a video!
Schysst video!
I have a similar evo scooter and have tried the speed limiter trick by putting the throttle on full with the brake pulled while switching it on but it seems to then limit me to 25klm and then if I repeat the process it then go's back to 45klm is there anyway to get it faster as it's the 72v version I'm sure it can exceed 45klm
My only question is that if i get this 1000w model can I later but the 2000w motor in. Just asking because in my country i have to be 18 to ride the 200w version but I could ride the 1000w one right now and I i dont wanna buy a new one later
Actually there is 3 versions as far as suspension: 1. Stiff and no suspension. 2. Front suspension but stiff in the rear. 3. Front and rear suspension. My experience with the fully stiff one is that most of the bumps come up through the back wheel since that is where I sit and most of my weight is. Esthetically I like it better without suspension though...
Where did you buy it? I have been looking a lot around for theese just doesn't know which manufacturer to buy from and what was the total price to get it to sweden?
When it was new I got up to 31km range, recently I've done 20-22km and had some juice left in the battery so maybe I can get about 25-27km now. I would expect it to lose a little capacity compared to being new.
Depends on your country, here (in Sweden) it's not quite legal cause it would need to be a moped, but it's lacking turn signals, speedometer, approved lights and so on.
Thanks for the test, i was wandering how fast does it accelerate 0 to 25km and 30 km . cheers. they have them on sale here in Finland for 750 euros i was thinking of getting one.
Overall would u recommend a first time scooter buyer to purchase this bike? I live in an apartment with an elevator so ideally I would store it at home and use it for work or to visit my gf
About a month ago I bought the Xiaomi M365 (not the Pro version) and I actually like that one more for just commuting or getting around. It is obviously easier to store, bring home, charge and perhaps (!) more reliable since it's not a "cheap clone". If you don't have too steep hills to climb, or don't mind standing up and the 15km range is enough then I would rather recommend that one. With that said my Xiaomi M365 only does 28km/h and can cover about 15km of distance per charge if I ride it full throttle. But it needed some unlocking of speed & power to be more usable. Chargers are really cheap and I bought several ones just leaving at home, work, GF. That way I don't need to bring one.
Vet ej. Men den gör bara 32km/h med mig på (80-85kg).
Video quality - very good. Speed - ok. Range : A very BIG disappointment . Can't even used for Food Panda or Uber eat delivery services. Improve battery capacity, try to get a 100 km range. At the same time maintain the price. It will be a big hit. The shape is the main appeal. A two seater would definitely silence the competitors.
In the Belgian system it's considered a "Bromfiets Klasse A". Though that is if you ignore everything that is missing on these things, like mirrors, correct lights (indicators etc), retroreflectors and things like that. It's kind of idiotic that these things are sold in the EU, while you technically can't ride them on the public road. Also they cost 1900 euro, so yeah, just buy yourself a proper scooter at that point. NIU sells a perferctly legal e-scooter that does 45kph, is actually a properly street legal "Bromfiets Klasse B" and those are only 500 euro more expensive than these things. And those have 100km range, not 30...
Well the light was on but just not that bright at all. It's like a bicycle light, meant to be seen and not to see. Or something like that. For that reason I installed a LED flood light at about 20w, it needed a separate 67v to 12v power supply but that lit up the road so much that it blinded everyone I met. You can see some of it in the "snow video" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s6rJn8ADm_U.html
On this cheap version the battery is not removable for charging outside the scooter. It's located under a lid held in with a few screws. The battery itself is fixed with double-sided tape. Just theoretically the battery could be held in with Velcro straps and connected with two XT60 connectors (one for power to the speed controller and one for the charging port). Then it could be removed for charging at home.
No, this one came from motorsweden, not 100% perfect as I got it, but good enough. Anyhow, I think it's 99% the same as the one from NetOnNet, except for the added tail light. Så i princip samma men annan butik. Kina-scooter.
Well it has a bunch of different names depending on who you buy it from. So all from: City Coco Fat Scooter Fat Boy Harley Big wheel electric scooter Fat Glider I think City Coco is the most common name.
Some versions say Will reach 45km/h and some say 25. Some also say 30km reach. Others 40-60. I men its a big difference. There are probably cheap copies out there
As far as from what I know: All these are copies of the Scrooser. And these come with a Max power output on either: 1000/1200/1500/2000 watt. And mainly two different sizes in battery: 12ah or 20ah. This should mainly be what gives the max speed. But the weight on the rider makes a difference. If I cruise slowly I'll get more range too.
If it does not have a CoC certificate, it is an illegal copy. Usually there is a speed limiter (25km/h) you can disconnect to reach about 45km/h with 1500w engine.
Hello from Netherlands, I have a 1500W 20Ah version with front suspension. Scooter type is LT019, single seat. The speed difference between 25 or 40km/h, on my scooter, is with a unconnected, 3 pole connector coming from controller. Depending on which wires I loop it goes 25km/h or 40km/h. If I don't loop this connector (as I have) it goes around 30-35 km/h. (The Voltage measured at this connector is 5V). This might be the same at your controller as I have found that most controllers have this feature. Source: www.electricscooterparts.com/speedcontrollers60volt.html#60vbrushlessmotor Nice to see, you also did some modifications to yours.
Men fartreglaget lär avgöra topphastigheten. Lycka till iaf!
I have 35 in stock in Illinois of various models and ready to ship anywhere in the USA red, blue, and green all have 3000w. The highest wattage you can have in chopper and citycoco models. one and two seaters, also I have 2000 W LUQI. EcoRide, kaboo wolf, and blade standup scooters.
3B. Elfordon utan trampor med maxhastighet 20 km i timmen; (a) max 250 watt eller (b) självbalanserande (ex. Segway). 3C. Moped klass 2. Max 30km/h. Måste ha godkänt halv-/hel-/bak-/bromsljus, blinkers, tuta och hastighetsmätare. 5. Moped klass 1. Registrerad och max 45km/h. Måste ha godkänt halv-/hel-/bak-/bromsljus, blinkers, tuta och hastighetsmätare. 1. www.transportstyrelsen.se/sv/Nyhetsarkiv/elcykel-eller-moped---vad-ar-skillnaden/ 2. www.transportstyrelsen.se/sv/vagtrafik/Fordon/Fordonsregler/Moped/Moped-klass-II/fragor-och-svar-om-ny-moped/ 3. www.transportstyrelsen.se/sv/vagtrafik/Fordon/Fordonsregler/Cykel/
Kindly put some acoustic sound which increases with accelerations.. Since you are using bike lane which is along with walk lane.. so accidently u can hit somebody. So if there is some short of sound then peoples get aware that something is coming.
Nej, min kom från Motorsweden. Dom var billigast när jag köpte min. Men, den från Netonnet ser utvändigt exakt likadan ut förutom: baklyset/reflexen i bak.
Yeah 31km is not that far, but you have 2 options: 1. Get the scooter with the bigger 20Ah battery (mine is 12Ah). 2. Build your own battery, there is space for maybe 30Ah in the compartment under the floor. But to get 30Ah you need a 16s10p battery if the cells hold 3000mAh each. 160 cells would not be cheap... And not super easy to weld/solder. If you live in Europe, you can buy or just check the price on cells at www.nkon.nl. I bough from them when I made my 10s2p pack for my electric longboard.
You don't wanna go faster than that in US. If you do on a bike path, you will be ticketed. And you cant run it on the street. Its pointless. Anything over 20 mph is wasted.
12ah is a bad bad bad joke...i wouldn't touch anything less than 2000wh in capacity.... (60*12= 720wh its kinda pathetic...) These fat bikes have a 60V20ah option which is better but then again i woudnt trust those awful chinese batteries regardless....I have ordered a super soco Cux from scooterhuset i gbg 25.000kr kostade den... lite mer men helt andra grejer kvalitetsmässigt=) Orkar inte längre att svetsa dra år skruvar och löda....man är inte 15 längre lol
