You're now 2 years old. Did you ever find a way to get under 0 seconds? Or did you get stuck at 0.00001 like most RU-vid comment people you're age tend to do.
I broke the world record in the mile with a time of 3:39. I did this without anyone knowing and I'm looking to get that credit on a RU-vid video. Praise me for my success.
Dude no u can't stop lying, i cant stand people like this and then people that cant even comprehend theyre lying, what fucking idiots Just waiting to get r/woooooshed
Props to the young man.. 42 year old here. I started running again after 16 years. My mile time is currently 7min 33secs. It's slow I know but man it feels good to be getting back in shape. Hopefully by the end of this month I'm under 6min.. Long way to go.
it’s good but it’s not thaaaaat good. i ran a 5:02 last year when i was 14. i’m not trying to flex or anything because in reality a 5:02 isn’t that good either.
Considering the world record for a mile at 14 is 4:19 I highly doubt every kid in the comment section has kids at their school running 4:30/4:40 second miles
not to take anything away from the kid but a guy in my highschool was running sub 5's as an 8th grader so its not really uncommon for a kid that age to run in the 5's
Bleach . Same😂 in 7th Grade I used to be running 7’00”s-7’30” Miles, I used to go out Waayyyyyy too fast like 5:25 pace. Currently 9th Grade with a (5:46) XC season just ended
Kevin Rostam considering they don't run the mile in the olympics and the fact that in 1999 there are no olympics in pretty sure you have your facts wrong. Time right though got to admit I'm impressed considering the year is wrong.
I wish we had an oval track in elementary. We used the winding chaotic recess track that looked like a Formula 1 track with 4 laps. I got 11:54 or 12:54 but that was still 5th so i'm happy with it.
This thirteen year old on my team was offered $700 by his uncle to run 5 or under. One of the kids on the other team heard him and stepped on the kids laces as they were coming out of the woods, the kid offered he money got a 5:03, I then went to the kid that tripped him and punched him in the face
I think it’s kinda funny that everyone on here says his time is terrible, that kids in his age group will run so much faster. At my last middle school track meet, the boys mile winner I believe had around a 5:25 mile. The boy from my district placed second with 5:30. I’ve never seen anyone run faster than a 5:18 at track meets. (For boys,12-14 age group) For the girls(it wasn’t a great group lol) winner got 6:29. I came in second with 6:34. Sometimes I place, sometimes I don’t, it depends on how good the other team is. Usually the best are in the low sixes. The best I’ve seen was a 5:45 by a 7th grader. Athough, the record for girls in my school is 5:34 I believe. Not sure about boys. (12-14 age group.) we haven’t gone to invitationals yet, so I’m sure we’ll see a ton of crazy times there, but still. So can someone explain to me where these times are coming from with your insane low 4 minute miles at what, 9 years old? Seriously this comment section is fucked 😂
fuk all bob billy gates running over 5 mins in the mile in your teens isn’t world class lol when I was 14 running 5-5:10 was pretty much normal for the mile. There were guys I ran against who could run high 4:40’s
lmao my friend tried telling me she ran a 15 second mile, she was dead ass serious about it too until i looked up that the world record was over 3 minutes 💀 shut her up real quick
lol we always have that one kid in gym class and our own helped us improve our times but he was competitive and he wasn't planning to be slower than anyone
well it really didn't matter how fast we ran back when we were primitive. You could simply walk or jog and track your prey till you found it and killed it.
Erik Guzman I get you. When I ran my first ever 600 in indoor track, I didn’t finish it running. I was wheezing and fucking walking to the finish line. People clapped for me and I was so embarrassed
Keep up the grind my man! 🤘 You've got an awesome running future. I started out similar, not as fast though. Now I'm running a 4:40. Running as much as you can helps so much
Dude no u can't stop lying, i cant stand people like this and then people that cant even comprehend theyre lying, what fucking idiots Just waiting to get r/woooooshed
Ali A Ninja I do actually, I like hearing people’s times even if they aren’t the fastest, because there are people out their who work hard as fuck and run slower than average times. My brother for example was a not so great freshman runner with a 5k time of about 23 minutes, but by Junior year (since he worked his ass off to his physical limits, not being able to walk up stairs after practices, having migraines, throwing up several times every practice) he managed to take his slow time and got it to a 15:30 5K and a 4:30 mile. I care about him sharing his time, because one day he could very well be a great runner, but then again I guess you don’t care about great runners so my bad.
Awesome Adam yes there is, because if you go on pace at the start, you will be able to maintain that pace and maybe speed up at the end, meaning your time will be better
VERY fast woah. My school had an 8th grader run a 4:43 back in 2016. However, this phenom runner has recently DESTROYED that record with a freaking 4:22.4 in 8TH GRADE. Not even joking. This guy now has a record of 4:11.8 as a sophomore, and track season isn't even over yet.
I saw this video when I was out of shape a few years ago and was blown away but now that gave my self a year to get in shape I know for fact that even though its impressive it's achievable because I'm 14 and my mile time is around 5:22
I swear I did a 5:35 when I was 11. Although it was in prime conditions- great weather, fast trail, and plus I had a college runner that was pacing me. Couldn't break 5:30 at all in XC in seventh grade, which was two years later. Skipped track season that year. Going in to eighth grade, I had a break through and ran a 10:15 2 mile for XC and then ran a 4:46 in track. Now I'm in my freshman year, and I ran a 16:17 5k in XC, and just started my track season with a 9:56 3200 meter. Hope to break 9:30 in the 2 mile and 4:30 in the mile this year.
Sheesh I can’t remember commenting on this I just saw this on my email. I ended up running 15:11 5k, 9:11 3200, and 4:19 mile. Hows your running going?
This is middle school, not down sizing your freshmen teammates cuz I'm only a 5:08 freshmen but at least for me middle school training and high school training is very different
I only ran the mile once and I ran a 5:08. Right now I haven’t ran in a month (injury) but when I get better I wanna run under 4:50 when the indoor track season starts.
It's hilarious how people are lying saying they've done 4:30 or have kids at their school doing 4:30. Like what is lying actually doing for you? It's actually sad.
4:30 is a very impressive mile time, but it doesn’t mean they are lying. My 1600m record is 4:28, (a mile is 1609m) so its basically the same give or take 1 second. Every year, there are roughly 1,000 - 1,500 high schoolers that run a sub 4:30 1600m in the U.S, roughly 100 are freshman (14-15 yrs old), if you don’t believe me, look it up on athletic.net The mile record is 3:43, so anyone who says they have run faster than that is obviously lying. And anyone who says that have run faster than 4:10, I would start to doubt, because those are seriously fast times, but certainly not impossible, in fact there are over a thousand people and counting that have run a sub 4:00 minute mile, including someone who I went to high school with, he runs at stanford university and ran a 3:59 mile just a couple months ago. He was a senior when I was a freshman so I didn’t really know him that much. But everyone in our school knew who he was. He fastest mile in hs was 4:06
I ran 4:52 when I was 14, I am 18 now and my pr is 4:28, but I ran that when I was 16. I don’t see myself ever running faster than that because I will likely never train that hard again and I am now more into weight lifting
I'm a 13 yr old girl and my pr is 7:13. I haven't done any sports my whole life until my 7th grade year. I did soccer and basketball. Trying to get my mile under 7
