As promised I wanted to offer days in the challenge that were more mellow so that the body has time to recover. This class is a mellowed-out stretch class to help release stress and tension. It also works great as a bedtime stretch routine, especially if you have issues falling and staying asleep. Also Ollie is back 🎉
I love seeing Ollie in the corner scratching his ear and helping you teach. Every time I get my mat out my pup thinks it is for him. And nice Sunday evening class.
#7 How did you know I'd be shoveling the 11" of snow we had and that this was the only practice I'd be able to do today? Talk about personalized!!! 😂 Much needed & much appreciated 🙏
My body feels warmed up and mobilized. I miss the sound of the waves on this one. It's morning here so I think I will do one more before having my coffee. Thanks, Tim!
Two Stiff Scots on day 7. We watched a wee bit late today so we could stretch before bed. Feeling relaxed. We both struggled with the legs on this one. Not sure why. All the deep breathing in the prolonged stretches was great. Thanks Tim 👍
I've been using April as a month where I make up my own practices instead of following along with 2 or 3 workout videos - aside from doing this one before beddy-bye. It's been an interesting experiment - I'm considered creative, but like the structure of following exercise videos. Nevertheless, I think at the very least it's given me a greater appreciation for instructors such as yourself. Not that I didn't already think you were The Bomb-omb-omb-omb!
Day 7 done! Can't even describe what this challenge has done for my body and mind so far, incredible. Sticking to only 20 min a day is hard, because i want to do it all the time hah! Sometimes i do it twice a day - can't help it 😆Thanks Tim!
This is my nightly bedtime movement of choice🌙 ... I did it last night to music 🎶 (Stevie Nicks [yoga adjacent soundtrack?]), but I think your narration works better than music to keep the mind focused (I tend to analyze song lyrics while I'm listening, and of course music tends to spark mrmories) - especially during corpse pose. What's your take? Do you ever listen to music while doing yoga? If so, what type of music and/or type of yoga? Thanks T 😊
Lovely relaxing class Tim for a Sunday morning. Thank you. Great to see Ollie again, but I miss the sound of the waves. Hopefully some more of the challenge will be in nature.❤
We thought we were going crazy! We did your other bedtime video quite a few times and thought we clicked it again until we go to the open leg section and were so baffled! Either way, we love your videos
Sup Ollie...you looked exactly as I did during this practice, as I opted to practice in a full sweat suit and socks. Woke up just in time today to take a nap =) Will repeat this practice again before bed, but this suited my lollin' about Sunday just fine =) And I love pigeon on the back, I opt for it regularly because...yeah... =) Thanks, Tim!
This is a bit longer than your 12 minute bedtime video, and a shorter version of the one from which it's adapted so a nice middle ground. Just before shavasana (sp?) you did a forward fold - is that part of the corpse pose?
I did this last night in lieu of your 20 minute version that I usually do. It's almost as if I cheated on you. With your evil twin! In terms of improvising or creating our own bedtime rituals: is the basic pattern a bit of gentle movement intersperesed with stillness poses?
So this is Day 7? Just making sure I get it right. I see your chill dog and raise you one chill Bearded Dragon that judges me every time I do yoga in front of him.
Yup, I send the classes in the email with the day in the title, put them in the calendar, and the playlist in case you have more doubts moving forward. Chill bearded dragon sounds legit.
