Left side had hub replaced already by previous owner. Right side pedal was sloppy. Found one spring missing. Hub and lug bolts in bad shape so replaced. Left side found spring broke. Brake pads where worn down to metal and drums where worn bad. Replace all brake pads, springs and drums.

Thanks Dan. Hate to see these old tractors being neglected. She won't ever be a Homecoming queen but she will be a good farm tractor.

Thanks Tim. I had a rim on the Ford that was rotted out and found tires and rims to replace the rusted rims. Figured I check the brakes while I had the tires off. Right brake didn't work so figured it be a good time to tear things down and fix what needed fixing.

Brakes are nice to have

Yes they are. It's pretty hilly here so brakes are a necessity. Also widened the wheel spacing.

That looks beautiful with all new parts, when you are finished it will be a great workhorse, I guess the New Holland have also now all-round Ag tires on

Hi Jan thank you. Little by little I am getting things fixed. I have one tire and rim done for the NH. Still need to weld the other rim. I bought a plug for the weld so I could plug it into my generator but doesn't seem to have enough power to start an arc. Looking to buy an inverter stick welder that only needs 120V.
