WHAT THE HELL IS IT, IF IT'S NOT A POWER WAGON, the only thing THAT I QUESTION IS THE V8 that they have in it, because I don't really know when or if you could get a V8 in one until later years
Please if you have a shred of mercy stop showing these Powerwagon videos to viewers. Up until two years ago had never heard of them. Now these types of videos with the Powerwagons are just too painful to watch.
T Hyslop, Define painful. Do you mean it hurts because you want one, and can't afford it ,or do you mean painful because you're a purist when it comes to Power Wagons and don't like resto-mods?
@@jimwilloughby Could afford one. Just discovered them a couple years ago. Want one badly but just not practical. We have downsized to travel more. We want a dog too, but just know the lifestyle does not permit. Painful because they illicit almost like a lust. As others have said it is like pornography. Painful because once you open the floodgates where do you stop. Painful because I already have three collections I have been persuing for years now and now in a way you cannot enjoy, because your focus now is only on now protecting and preserving them. Then even if I got one I would be afraid to drive it. And maintenance? UGH! Painful? Just stirs those emotions. Restomods? Mixed feelings. Got to be a case by case situation., but not wholeheartedly against it.Also, I think in a way it is a real artform how some can maintain the integrity of the vehicle yet make refinements or changes that meld into a successful Restomod. Taste definitely rest in the purist camp, though.. Sometimes on the restomods less is more. I can match two colors on a wall with a high degree of confidence. When you get to three and four colors, then put a gun to my head.. Next door neighbor invited us over to show us her painting makeover. She completely repainted the inside of herhouse with four colors. She pulled it off very nicely. Me, in that house, with four colors of my own choosing would be a disaster, repulsive. Did this provide you a modicum of insight?
@@jimwilloughby Painful? Relooking at the first 20 seconds of this video and my reaction is pain/grieving because I look at that truck and to me it is a metaphor for how much our American society has lost and how far it has fallen. Today we have nothing comparable to that in styling, nor in heavy duty construction.
@@thyslop1737 It did provide a bit of insight. I lkie the resto mods, but only if they don't get off the 'beaten path', as it were. To me that means no automatic transmissions, for starters. I'd have to think about what else I wouldn't like.
