He's that good at stand up it comes off as riffing, but trust me, these thoughts haunt him in his sleep, and he needs to tell/yell at strangers about them.
@@achumarevolution Shemp Howard of Three Stooges fame had a manager/publicist whom created a "Shemp=ugliest man in Hollywood" as a way to get better reputation. True story
Well because this isn’t stand up comedy. This is podcasting. He’s new special wasn’t even good enough to release in whole. They are just doing clips. He’s the goat comic podcaster. But stand up is a different game
This aged well after watching Alex Jones interview Rogan on “b a n n e d (dot) v i d e o. Sorry had to type the site name like that or commie tube would shadow ban the comment. It’s a really good show too. It was hilarious and they got high as a kite and drank a whole bottle of whiskey. Joe was in rare form, but at one point he literally defended bill gates
I love when they were getting ice cream and Dan was helping Tim with sprinkles, and Tim told him to be careful. “Oh I know, to you these are like diamonds.” -Dan Soder on Tim Dillon and sprinkles lmao
Been thinking a lot, of late, about that speech the Joker gives a hospitalized Harvey in Dark Knight. That people are only as good as the world allows them to be. Kind of like Josh Homme realizing "No One Knows" before he hit 30, I'm simultaneously awe-struck, and a little wary, of people who possess that level of insight.
The Tim Dillon Show is straight up exactly how podcasts should be! His stream of consciousness is so perfect, and hilarious. I always want more! Thanks Mr. Dillon!
He's definitely talked about sobriety, rehab, and his experiences on either side of those two things. Just from memory, check out the episodes "The Florida Project" and "Brownie Boat." They're both on youtube
Tim Dillon needs to be protected at all costs. It’s rare when someone pops into existence and is THIS funny. He’s a natural belly-turner 🤣😂 I can’t breathe from laughing so damn much.
What I really really like about Tim's podcast is the sidekick guy. I watch him laugh and I replay what Tim says. He gives his laugh out only when tim says something deservingly funny. And that's the best part of the podcast. Keep it going man!
Best part of the week let alone weekend. The real truth and reason, which is naturally combined with the real and best comedy. He doesn't have to pander to others here unlike other collaborations.
Health Privilege is, 100 PERCENT coming soon, that's been brewing for the past few years, with the body positive, BRAVE movement. Tim Dillion is a true visionary.
I was at the supermarket bakery section last month, so about 2 weeks after the lockdown started, and I overhead a customer saying to one of the staff who was loading bread loaves onto a shelf: "Thank you so much for what you're doing for us. You guys are so courageous." I looked at the guy with his hands full of bread and he just half smiles and goes, "Uh, thanks."
“You know what a guy I met told me? ‘You know what I do? I provide drugs to The Rolling Stones.’ And then I said ‘No Way! put Keith Richards on the phone!’ And then he got Keith Richards on the phone and I played him ‘Satisfaction’ and he liked it. So what if he’s a drug dealer? You never know.”
