Imagine putting a twin 144 cristo on that little frame probably would be uncontrollable lol if I had the cash I'd definitely try it

Great build!! I am building a zuma 50 with the rc-one and my question to you is it really necessary to install a frame support stabilizer and if so why . I was planning to not have one but I am not sure .
@overse9624
@overse9624 5 лет назад
Pedro Corpion I don’t think it’s necessary. But it’s night and day on the frame braces. Are Yamaha frames have a half U shape to them that flexes all directions especially while turning. Thing is you don’t know how much the frame actually flexes till you put them on. There great.
@pcorpion

Thanks bro for the info . Are you running the 28mm carb if so what jets you running and where do you live Iam in Key West Fl .
@overse9624
@overse9624 5 лет назад
Pedro Corpion I’m in Oregon. RC-ones a complete engine. Well almost complete. It’s missing a couple little things. No Variator washer (Piaggio style) or spacer kit for the Overrange. Anyway the 28mm VHST that it comes with is dialed in. 150 main stock.
@pcorpion
@pcorpion 5 лет назад
Hey can you list the parts that you mentioned what is not included in the kit ? Perhaps part numbers if possible or whatever info would be greatly appreciated .
@overse9624
@overse9624 5 лет назад
Pedro Corpion Kickstart castle washer (Piaggio) if you don’t already have a Piaggio engine you’ll need one. Don’t have a part number off hand. Just make sure it fits your crank. Spacer kit for MHR Overrange pulley. #0812036. And a 13mm variator spacer. #0812963B

@@overse9624 Hi. Malossi Testarossa Flanged Mount complete engine. The C one & RC one being at the same price here in France, I preferred to take the 70cc compared to the wider choice of high engine (roost havoc 70cc, 2fast 70cc) according to the evolution engine configuration. With the RC One in 94 CC the choice is more limited. Your 94cc what has become of it? On the reliability point, what do you think? If you could share your feelings on this engine. Thank you
@overse9624
@overse9624 4 года назад
philippe eppilihp The RC-1 94cc is bulletproof. I’ve set my squish at .7 running 92 American version clear octane. I hardly ride the bike at all. Upwards of 3 X a week in the summertime. Under 2 miles at a time and put it away. My original plans were at the time to pick up the complete RC-1 engine for cheap then upgrade to a complete Roost or 2fast 100cc build. Except my complete bike color scheme came out so nice I’m just gonna rock the Red , White, and Black all day. But reliability wise the sealing surface on the stock 94cc flanged cylinder to case is so thick it’s almost impossible to leak . I’ve got less than a 100 miles on this build and I plan on keeping that way. My other bike has a 77cc Malossi on Aerox cases. Gonna eventually sell the engine keeping the Jog for a complete 100cc Roost Black, White, and Gold build. Hopefully ported by HK if my money cooperates . Haha
@philippeeppilihp6146
@philippeeppilihp6146 4 года назад
@@overse9624 the octane number is low (92), in France it is 95 for the weakest and 98, the one I use. At 0.70, your engine is in secure quotes. Theoretically with an essence (98 octane), Malossi recommends a squish of 0.55 and a compression ratio of 14.6 for the 94cc and a squish of 0.45 and a compression ratio of 15.8 for the 70cc.
@overse9624
@overse9624 4 года назад
philippe eppilihp From what I understand the American version octane of 92 equates to roughly 97 European octane. Are numbers are just different. But we’re technically rocking the same octane numbers. I accidentally set my squish to .45 on my 77cc when I changed rings and gaskets on 92 clear and holy crap it was a rocket 🚀 and ran smooth. But got really hot quick. Haha.

Hey brother I have the full malossi 94cc kit but having trouble setting up the 28mm dellorto carb that came with it. Q: do u remember know how many turns out you did the fuel mixture screw? 😒 and what size Main fuel jet you using? Thank you
@overse9624

Couldn’t tell you off had about the fuel mixture screw. But I kept my main jet in the 148-150 range. Depending on the seasons

@overse9624
@overse9624 4 года назад
Trevor Hamilton Frame braces were custom made by a friend. There just aluminum tubing that he picked up. With screwed in end caps and adjustable eye bolts. After he sold them to me I just powder coated the tubes white to match my frame.

headz Got a pretty good deal on the RC-One and rims brand new $2,600 usd. $400 in powder coating alone. Scooter was given to me free. Handle bars, brakes, discs, triple tree, cables, etc. another $500. Fairings I had to pay $200 for. Temp gauge, radiators, lighting kit, plus anything small I’m missing $600 I’m $4,300+ usd into it. But a lot of the money was spent on looks.

@overse9624
@overse9624 4 года назад
headz Well if it’s from the actual Scooterswapshop then I can believe it. There a dealer, mechanic, and a retailer. They get there products in quantity. Plus there dealing with so many scooter related people on a daily basis it wouldn’t surprise me that they would come across a smoking hot deal like that.

So annoying to see that you spend thousands of dollars to a highend bigbore engine and you buy a terrible rear shock :D Should've buy an RS24 or RS24/10-R. The good suspension is very important. Otherwise good bike and build (Y)

Ákos Stickel Huh ..Doesnt bother me one bit. The Shock was bought just to match the bikes color scheme. Otherwise I would have just thrown my Paioli Polini racing shock on there. And Thank you.
