To anyone wondering what to do with the p055b code. Change both oil pressure sensors. THERE ARE 2 OIL PRESSURE SENSORS! You have one under the Exhaust VVT Actuator, and there’s another oil pressure sensor behind the entire engine. If this doesn’t fix the problem, then sensor that was put in is probably bad.
Thanks for this video. I’m here because my sons car has the same issue. Very concise. I’d like to suggest that you put the oil cap back on while working to prevent parts from jumping into the opening. That would be my luck.
I just replaced my oil pressure & camshaft, but the check engine light is still on, do you have to clear those codes with the controller? Also what if you don't have one?
@@NORCALPYRO_ the other sensor is located on the back of the engine, you'll have to go from under the car and it's about half way up the block they are both identical sensors.
Mine was the camshaft sensor my car was jerking i replaced it and the code didn't went away i replace the oil pressure sensor today and i drove 80 miles and i hope it doesn't come up again
