If your knees bother you while doing squats or lunges, this is the leg day you need!!! It's all about building strong legs, glutes, and thighs with this knee-friendly lower-body strength workout! We are training with some of the best muscle-building lower-body exercises while keeping everything low-impact on the knees!
The structure of this strength training workout will be a no-repeat style with a variety of compound and isolation exercises to lean out and strengthen! This is the perfect at-home lower-body workout because the only equipment you need is a pair of dumbbells!
20 MINUTE NO-REPEAT LOWER BODY KNEE-FRIENDLY STRENGTH TRAINING WORKOUT STRUCTURE AND EXERCISES
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
- DUMBBELLS- I used a range from 20lbs / 9kg When selecting a weight for this workout, you want to start light with the longer work time and increase weight as the work time decreases.
- EXERCISE MAT
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
- EXERCISE BOX OR BENCH - I will be using this for the glute bridges and doing hip thrust variations because, at this point in my pregnancy, this is the most comfortable option! But these exercises can be done on your mat!
- BOOTY BAND OR MINI RESISTANCE BAND
- ANKLE WEIGHTS

- NO REPEAT WORKOUT STRUCTURE

- REST: 20 SECONDS

Loved this workout! I’ve start adding ankle weights and wrist weights to all my strength workouts and it is a game changer. I have creaky knees so this was wonderful and I was even able to do the thigh finisher after. More knee friendly workouts please!! Thank you for another great workout! ❤

Kaleigh, I absolutely love your workouts! You are truly the best. Thank you for this content, and congratulations! I hope this is not overstepping, but I wish I had heard more about this when I had my baby. I had always been into sports and fitness, and was lucky enough to feel really good and work out my whole pregnancy. After baby was a different story! The first 6 to 9 months felt quite difficult, between time management, sleep changes and body and mind changes! I felt quite frustrated and discouraged. Thankfully, it gets a lot better in time! Just wanted to share for you or anyone who might experience this❤ We will continue to do your content even if it's a powerwalk with baby strapped to you in your living room!

She IS a mind reader! The moment I hunch, she says, 'check your posture' and the moment I realize I could have gone heavier, she says, 'If you can go heavier...' It happens easily 3 or 4 times a workout. Exactly at the right moment. So enjoying being consistent with Kaleigh and all the butt-kickers.
