I got call from a ex after 10years plus .... unexpected from private number I thought it's a doctor .. I didn't recognize his voice He said he don't believe I do not know who it's speaking ... When I ask him why he is calling me now ? He said he just miss my voice My response on 1.57 I did hung up My head burning from guestion why after so many years...but this world is imperfect and we have imperfect people who make imperfect decisions and those imperfect decisions have a impact not only on them self but as well on us ...

This information is fantastic. But let’s consider, (and i’m certainly guilty of this myself) why do we want our exes back. If they left us, they broke our trust. They’re not people we want as our teammate. And If you’re in no contact to heal and they reach out but have no interest in reconciliation, than they are being totally selfish. More reason to not want them back. It’s about power, believe me. It’s not about love. My gf left me over the holidays. Yeah I made mistakes, but at the end of the day, I can look back and say, I was a fucking amazing partner!! I know there’s so many people out there blaming themselves. Felling bad about not showing up perfect. Let me tell you, none of us are perfect. We all have frailties, it’s part of being human. Know that the right person will embrace this part of you and choose to walk with you and not away from you. Just my two cents worth. I know my ex is going to break and contact me. But anything other than acknowledging what she did and wanting to work things out, (which will probably be too late anyway) will be ignored.

@Roman Kralovic I couldn't agree more. When they left they broke the trust and bond we had. It's just our minds that's addicted to that person and is looking for any excuse to fulfill that addiction by letting them back into our life. Now that I think about it, my ex blamed everything on me, but I was just sticking up for my boundaries and not doing things I wasn't comfortable with. She tried to make me feel guilty about that and left me. She never loved me. I can't wait to get over her.

That's because of attachment issues. Not everybody have a healthy attachment style, nor even know they are anxious. It's pretty difficult to see things objetive when you're in a mind-fogging anxiety.

Not everyone has the strength to incorporate that winsome. Yes some people can be completely fine after getting dumped and move forward with ease, but some of us take it a little harder, especially if we have that type of attachment style.

@@PrinceKumar-oj9db Yes I was talking about the same person! First time was 5 months, 1 months then 5 months. The relationship was ld and 4 years :) The funny thing is, no contact worked also on previous guys I have dated (that dumped me), they usually came back after 1-2 months but my interest level wasn't even that high to begin with so doesn't really count. So honestly, TRUST NO CONTACT, I did it naturally because it felt the right thing to do. What I did to calm my anxiety was to tell myself that they will come back, in the mean time I focus on myself (and watch videos lol). Funny thing is, before you know time heals everything and you won't care about the outcome anymore!

Yeah, I was weak and stayed friends for a year. We even slept together a few times. In the end, I told her I wanted more and I cut the friendship. She called me 3 months later to paint her new house.I charged her for it (we had talked about this when we first started dating). After the paint job in October I never heard from her again. I see her looking on a dating site. Also, I did it for my mental health.

What I want to know is do messages like "I love you", "I miss you" or anything that doesn't exactly refer to sorting the relationship out constitute a response. They can say they love or miss you but those words themselves aren't saying "I want to sort the relationship out". 🍒

Do NOT under any circumstance ask your ex who broke up with you to meet up with you. If they really want to see you again they will ask you to. But asking them to meet with you after they left you just screams desperation.

Yeah, I agree with this. Mine was long distance and we ended it because he moved and I went into NC thinking I had no hope especially because of the long distance. When he reached out, I kept it very brief until he said that he wanted to meet up. There was no way I was gonna ask to meet up with him. He dumped me so I made sure he did to do the ground work & heavy lifting Not me. And it worked.

@@kurdonoid Dude mines literally parked right next to me at the gas station yesterday, and just stared at me until she caught my attention, because I didn't notice her pull up. I went over and we had a quick chat. Later that night (2am) she drunk dials me. Going on and on about the break up and how angry she is at me. Funny thing is, we've been broken up close to a month and a half, roughly. And yesterday was my first day finally feeling free and over it. The trick is always confidence.

Guys "No Contact" definitely works i've done it and in less than a month my ex reached out saying that he wants to meet up. I told him i didn't want to and he gone mad lol and kept asking when am i gonna be free, so i told him not to talk to me anymore n i want him outta my life yay me i got what i wanted Revenge and now he depressed and shit lol now we on the same level. As corey wayne says nagotiate own your terms, the relationship failed because you were unhappy that you aren't getting something that make you not to put your best foot forward. So if an ex reaches out. Don't be in rush there is a very good chance you will breakup again so this time think before you interact i know it's hard. But next time it'll hurt more so be care full.

Stay positive!!! I was absolutely devastated after my ex broke up with me. She left me out of no where. Turned cold and I couldn’t believe it. I DID NOT chase or beg her. I never thought she would reach out to me since she was so cold. Well, 42 days later of STRICT NO CONTACT she called me telling me she missed me and apologized to me. We’re meeting up for drinks and to catch up. I honestly took the time of no contact to work on myself and to rebuild myself on all aspects of life, spiritual, physically, mentally and most of all emotionally. I do miss her and love her but I don’t need her. I’m at peace knowing that I will be okay, regardless if we get back together or not. Remain strong to everyone who’s going through a tough breakup, & eventually if they do realize your worth. They will reach out! Thank you Rory!! Best of luck to everyone!

I knew she was no good for me but I was blinded by lust and what I considered “love” she was very manipulative and had narcissistic characteristics. Now I have met someone new who I consider a better woman than my ex. Moral of the story, life goes on and I hope those who are going through heartache find peace. Best of luck to everyone struggling with heartbreak, I know it sucks but when you stop trying to force love into your life and focus on yourself and really love yourself that’s when you find what you’re looking for.

NC for 6 weeks, ex reaches out. Prior to NC I discovered my ex was seeing his ex again. My ex lied and decieved me.He won't own his lies or cheating. that's when I went into NC. Since there was no closure, my ex tried to "friend zone" as is nothing happened. When I rejected it, he begins blaming me for the break up. We disagreed about the break up and blamed each other. I'm starting NC with him again. This time forever

Sorry, a late response but I had a relationship that ended because he wanted to move interstate. he wanted to put me in a friends zone and I said no. I told him to call me if things change and left it at that. Then he reached out and we slowly started talking and I went over and met up with him for dinner. But I pretended that I went for work. I needed to suss out how this was going to go. We are taking a very slowly but texting and calling when we can. Long distance makes it hard but not impossible. He still need to be in NC & respond when they contact you if you want them back. And perhaps if you can, one of you meet up with the other. Face-to-face always helps alleviate any anxiety about where to go when you come out of NC but take it slow.

Great video. I heard once that you should wait one hour for every month you've been apart to respond to their text. I suppose then, if it was recent, then maybe wait one hour for every week.

@@TheLoveChat you were right, you were always right, I just never believed it would actually happen. You were right about a couple of things, maybe you can even talk about it in a future video: 1-no contact is not a trick to get them back, it’s to get YOU back. 2-no contact will never work if you’re waiting around for them to contact you. It will happen. 3-once they DO come back, it would be because of the dumbest excuse. (Her reason: “I felt I might die soon, and I wanted to apologize to you and tell you why I ghosted you”) 4-you’d be surprised (and for my case, I’m literally shocked) that YOU might not even want them! After all of the pain and begging and pleading! YOU MIGHT NOT WANT THEM BACK! 5-she’s not special, love fools you. 6-work on yourself, work on yourself, work on yourself, there’s no better remedy. 7-Lastly… and it really pains me to say this… A day will come, where you look straight into your ex’s eyes… and feel nothing.

The fact that people are sitting around, waiting for their Ex’s to reach out after being broken up with and put on no-contact for months on end, boggles my mind. Here’s my story. After a year and a half relationship, that happened to me. She wanted one month of no contact. Well two months later she messages me “I was worried about you, I expected to hear from you after 1 month.” I told her if someone wants to walk out of your life, let them go. She said I had left a sports jacket in her closet so I still had to see her one last time. I told her I didn’t even know it was missing and that she could donate it. It astonished me that people just want to meet up and pretend like nothing happened. Where is the self respect? Where is the dignity?

Had a longer episode of bargaining with him that ended on a tedious "no". Two weeks later he hits me up with "I'm sorry if it's bad to contact you, but I was just wondering how you were doing". I tried to play it cool and detached after a friend convinced me to respond at all, but I don't think I should have. And then after his "I'm sorry I just had a need to know", I ended up writing a way too emotional string of messages saying it's better if we don't talk at all right now, because he couldn't have done what I wished for. Maybe I fucked it up, but I'm way too vulnerable for breadcrumbs right now. I already went through this, now I need to focus on myself. If he's worth it, he'll reach out some other time.

My ex reached out yesterday around 5am in the morning after three months with no contact. I was not expecting to receive a message from him. My phone was off for the whole day, I got read it around 5pm in the afternoon. He sent me 5 messages and 4 of them got deleted. Lol. We talked nerdy stuff like we always do when we were together, he told me he misses me and the things we did when we were together. I mean when he said sweet things, I didn't reciprocate that sweetness, I just talk to him casually because honestly, I don't know what to feel but one thing is for sure-my attchement to him is long gone. It feels like we're two strangers texting again. He sent me a picture of GTA this morning, because he is playing it now, replied this afternoon and that's it. I can say now that he is not that person that I adore sooooo much. My attachment is gone and I can live without him in my life.

Rory, you're totally right. My ex reached out after 3mo of strict NC (I had even hidden my IG stories from him) unexpectedly. We met twice and agreed on meeting again this week. I am hoping for reconciliation although he seems to be quite certain of the opposite, but who knows. I'm just going to keep these dates/meetups fun and lighthearted and maybe he'll revisit the idea without me pushing for it. Holy Hell!! I've been in NC for about a week and she texted me letting me know that she came by the house to let the dogs out and hope that i had a good week so far. I waiting a little over an hour to respond and i did exactly what you said and she responded immediately. We're meeting for dinner on Sunday. She's lived with me the whole time and when she broke up, one of her reasons was that she never lived alone, she went from her parents house to mine. Love this new show that you have haven't listened to this stuff for years and you're the first one it's coming along when I actually feel like there's no gimmicks you definitely a breath of fresh air could you do it to have a gun if you broke up with your girlfriend a couple of times and then they would.still.go on dates but said that we couldn't get back together and then shortly after they found someone new but you realize that you were in love with them. When my girlfriend broke up with me, i reached out to her almost everyday by sending pm via messenger. She replies but only after some time, like after 2 hours or sometimes the next day. Some messages she does not reply at all. I am not sending any emotional statements, rather more like soliciting business advice. I could see that she is online but deliberately not reading my messages, or if seen, deliberately delaying the response. It did hurt everytime because of the anxiety of getting a response. Now I'm in the No Contact mode and will remain so until she reaches out. When she does reach out, and i delay my response, wouldn't she thinks that I'm getting revenge for what she did? I guess 1 hr would be ok, but I would like her to be anxious too by waiting for my reply. Wouldn't the anxiety convert into "turn-off" if I delay my response longer?

Be careful. Mine married sometime and she reached out to me after 1 year. I had ignored her for 6 months or so but finally gave in. Long story short she got back with me behind his back and got a place with me. Only to go back to him last Christmas eve. Now she has been calling me for the last 9 months and I will never talk to her again. Make sure your ex is not a narcissist
