Ok I never realised but Lightning's manager in the UK version is played by Jeremy Clarkson, a well-known car show presenter at the time (and now ig), it never occurred to me that it's a different person in the US version - Pixar paying attention to detail and putting cameos in depending on the country, neat!
It's the same for the 3rd movie! The voice assistant is played by Lewis Hamilton in the US and UK, Fernando Alonso in Spain, and Sebastian Vettel in Italy and Germany. Love them giving support to F1 drivers in their home countries.

Probably the most underrated joke in this film is Lightning basically walking into the Sheriff getting a colonoscopy and him saying if he likes the view

The only reason it would be the only sport is that the cars don’t have the thumbs needed for the ball sports Dylan mentioned. However, the cars are still able to get gas and do other tasks that require thumbs. It doesn’t make sense.

But I wanted to thank you because we just found your channel a few days ago and we have been watching your videos nonstop! I’ve always regarded Cars as one of the few Pixar films of the time that was original in its story and watching Dylan consistently guess the plot incorrectly (for the most part) just solidified my opinion lol
It’s criminal how no one ever mentions how much of a banger the soundtrack is, I’ll argue to my dying breath that it’s one of Disney’s best, and I’m including musicals.
Dylan putting so much emphasis on being 6'4" actually just makes me think he's 5'8"... so that's now my reality for a man I've never met and will probably never meet.

I don’t know why, but after seeing this, I kinda want Dylan to binge ALL the Tinkerbell movies. INCLUDING the two after the most famous one about her twin or whatever.
I was actually surprised that he didn’t get the flashing the headlights reference in the beginning of the movie since he seems to be so down bad for the rest of it.

This is my nephews all-time favorite movie. He loves to use his toy cars to act out the scenes. Especially the tongue out scene, and the “sound cars” as he calls them. But the cow/tractor tipping scene scares him. Can’t see the movie through any eyes other than his now. It’ll be interesting to see how Dylan’s experience as a clearly 20 year old individual differs from that of a four year old. As someone who grew up watching this movie, seeing somebody watching it with no idea after so much time is a fresh feeling, makes me see the movie as if i watched it for the first time too, i really enjoyed it.
Same here! Easily one of my favorite all time movies mainly because it made up my childhood, to the point where I have all three movies and then the shows to go with it memorized! This was a nice fresh breath of air.

Cars is one of the my all time favorite movies, idk what it is but I can rewatch this frequently and not get sick of it so seeing Dylan do a movie review of it makes me so happy.
I swear this movie has brought out memories I forgot I had it's been SO MANY YEARS since I last watched it. Once I saw some scenes I was like, "NOSTALGIA." Like the one where he was sleeping in the truck, where we meet Mator, and other things. Holy crap.
This movie has a weird special place in my heart. I grew up around Route 66, my grandpa was in love with old cars (went to every car show he could) and this was one of the last movies I went to go see in theaters with him before he passed away. I was a kid so it was likeable off the bat, and I am so glad it wasn't as focused around races. I love that it captures the quiet of desert nights and the warmth of tiny towns. I still don't know a thing about cars, but this is still my favorite Grampa Movie
