Nice video , nice driving too. Love the video . I wish I had videos of my snow bank love making scenes, many times using the ol shovel and a permanently mouted tow cable. Also thanks to everyon with 4wd trucks to pull us out of the woods
No other car can drive so predictible in the snow like Subaru. This is because of symmetrical all wheel driven system and boxer engine which allows to put centre of gravity symmetrical and lower than other engines. Only Subaru gives you this combination, not even Porsche not even Audi, not even Bmw or Mercedes. Subaru is the best winter car in the world.
Yes for snow, Im 100% agree my frd, but Porsche n Audi have better AWD system for tracks or normal drive(specially AUDI RS5/7).Those cars r different segments based. But anyway i love Subaru Sti and ur review.
+Daniel Z Full disclosure: I'm a five-time (and current) Subaru AWD owner. You, like many others, got sucked into the Subaru advertising hype. The symmetrical and boxer advantage aspects are theoretical advantages. All AWD Subarus, including the WRX/STi, ARE well balanced, good handling cars. But in multiple road tests done around the world, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo is considered the better overall handling street car. The Evo has an inline 4-cylinder, and it's drivetrain is not symmetrical.
@@snowrocket I think evo's are better cars all around. But i think one advantage a sti has over the evo, is that it can distribute power 60-40, 40-60, 50-50 locked, and 50-50 open. Where an evo is an extremely advanced haldex system. It still has to abide by the physical limitations of a haldex system which means 50-50 at best.

The only thing I could think of when it went to the in-cabin camera was "Oh man, I remember when that Alpine deck was so hot." Great driving and sorry about the wreck. This is coming from a detuned Evo (aka. Ralliart) owner.

Die hard Ford V8 guy here.........who is seriously wanting an STI or Evo. Haha. This is an excellent video and is only feeding my urge to get one of these awd beasts. I hope the car was fixable after the last little bit.
