My local US Autozone won’t take fluids back unless they’re in an original fluid container. In other words, they won’t accept it in a water container, milk container, juice, etc. What do you think that’s about?
Hey Bill, I imagine it probably has to do with some sort of by law or recycling sort of issue. I don't think we have that issue up here in Ontario Canada but I'm not 100% sure. Kind of odd though because if you're doing your first oil change no one's gonna have an empty oil container laying around generally so what would you do in that situation. Or maybe they just are making an excuse so that they don't have to take your oil.
Exactly, you don’t usually empty the 5 gallon jug. I’m sure it’s the latter , just making it difficult. Walmart will take it regardless of container. They just transfer it all into a large barrel.@@JimmysAutoClinic
