Well done video. Just one thing, have something solid and flat under your jack stands, looks like you were doing your repair on gravel driveway . You don't want those jack stands to settle.

Very good video. Probably the best I've seen on replacing an axle.

Great video my friend. The only difference I would have done is instead of hitting the new axle with a hammer, I would have used a hard mallet. But aside from that, awesome video!

Thanks for the video, informative and sensible. I've done a lot of repairs on equipment/trucks on a rock surface. It always hurt my knees, get some pads or cardboard if you can.

why were you hitting the new axel with a mallet directly, one slip and those threads would have been toast.

What jack stands are you using? Specifically the tons?

Same process for 16’ ? Will manual transmission leak ?

You don’t use a hammer to remove or install cv axle! I can see how someone might think that but you don’t. You could damage transmission by using hammer to install if it’s not lined up correctly. I’ve replaced hundreds of axles and I’ve never used a hammer
