It's 42 hp Display is the same as the R15 and MT 03 and the Mslaz The forks are 37 mm and top of the sliders are 46 mm. ( clips ons) Good gearbox nice clutch comfortable suspension is good Front Dunlop is average front brake is soft and abs cuts in early. Abs routing looks rough and the rear shock is little to soft out of the dealer Its slightly over geared . So add 1 to 2 clicks to rear preload. And if you are riding in City traffic conditions Go 14 t 45 t sprocket ratio Oem is 14 /43 also this gearing makes it more responsive and more easy to ride. As a newbie the bike is a great entry bike

@@theprofessionaldillweed6235 next time just say claimed hp is 42 hp. All engines are not the same some better then other of the exact same engine.. I had race engines before identical specs had 4 I put all on a dyno and over the 4 tested there was up to 2 hp difference.... And dyno are 100 % the same either??
having ridden sports bikes from 125 to 1000cc, i realized i kinda run out of skill at about 600. so i think this would be a very good bike for me. i'm 40 now so i don't care about the bragging rights any more, or at least not as much as i used to, and this really looks like a good choice, might start looking for one! thanks for the review!
mistreku didn’t want to like it, hated the front end. Rented one for a weekend and bought one. 34 yrs riding I don’t need my hair on fire anymore. Wanted to like the 400 ninja more but no. Change the brake pads they never bed in and suck

i’m really thinking about whether i should buy an R3 or an R6 Because i’m 6’2 (189 Cm) So i’m afraid that i’m gonna be cramped on an R3 i just think the R6 is a little heavy for my first Bike. Is 6’2 Too Tall For an R3?
buzocaperuso I haven’t ridden the ninja 400 yet but I’m going to do a vid on one here soon but the R3 is a great starter bike. But with everyone I know that has had one as a first bike, they quickly get tired of it unfortunately. But the CBR 500 is a bike I have ridden and it would also be a really good starter bike that vid is coming soon
Theyre not lying about the cc. Its common practice to round up or round down when naming the bike... and thats not a lot of horse power difference ... thats not a big deal. the only thing really concerning a small sport bike like this is quality of accesories. How does it feel? How do the breaks feel? Where did they cut money out of the bike at? Does this make the bike feel cheap in riding? How does the suspension feel? When you buy a small bike like this your not actually buying for the power...
You should be able to fit on it just fine at your height. But if not, they can be lowered easily and for cheap. Anywho, I’d go to your local dealership and ask to sit on one
That Was My Main Issue with some Manufacturers. Scence You Named HONDA, that's what we'll address. It gets to me as well Bro , i notice they do this with alot of their Bikes . Like the CBR 500 is 471cc, the Honda Forza 300 (Scooter) 279cc, even the now Discontinued CR 500r was a 291cc . I must admit that is alot better, but at least make it 498 499cc is alot more Respectable if it's Badged as a 300cc, 500cc any Displacement for that matter . Just for a point of reference i Ride a 2016 Kymco People GTi 300 (Scooter) its Displacement is 299cc, the also had a 200 version of my Bike it was 205cc thats True Advertisement .
Would I be right to assume the people that gave you this bike don't watch your videos? Because I can't imagine someone seeing what you do and giving you a bike for free.
Oh geez.. I never would have guessed. It has more functions than just a speedometer. Like fuel, oil temperature, clock, gear indicator, RPMs, and odometer. If it was just a speedometer it wouldn’t give you all those things. Know your facts before spitting out nonsense ;)
