2020 didn't really bring in anything I would have got, maybe the black package but forget that tailgate get us some cooled seats and a 360 cam and it would be a perfect world for the Rebel.
Just got my 2020 rebel. I couldn’t be more impressed with the truck. The adaptive cruise control has to one of the coolest things about it. Self driving truck in rush hour traffic!!!😎🇺🇸👍🏽😎
I have 2020 black diamond rebel leveled with ram bar lights and running board my first truck ever awesome 😎 I used to drive mustangs now I don’t worry about the weather
RAM-1500 KING OF TRUCKS they did cheap out. No 360 camera and no vented seats. Something all their competitors have on the equivalent package, and the package below this one.
@@texasowl5356 Except the only true competitor to the Rebel is the Trailboss which doesn't have those features either. The Rebel is built off of the Big Horn much like how the Traillboss is built off of the LT/Custom trims.
Same man traded my 2016 ram 1500 limited on a 18 f150 sport xlt. Had to get out of ram after freak hail storm caused the roof to be replaced on my ram and it never did fully stop leaking when it rained. I miss my ram. I'll run the f150 to 36 k miles then get back into a ram.
Me too. My Ford 150 XLT had many recalls that I didn’t have enough time to bring it to the dealership to fix. Eventually, I traded it in for a GMC Sierra SLT Premium 2018. However, after I checked the Rebel 2020 yesterday, I will get it soon.
The things you see in the ceiling are not microphones the are noise cancelling speakers. They emit a frequency that is supposed to combat road noise for a more quiet cab.
Just checked it yesterday at a dealership in LaGrange GA. I have to admit that the quality of its interior is way better than my GMC Sierra SLT Premium. Everything is very solid, not cheap plastic as Ford and GMC. RAM has been improved a lot for the quality. However, GMC AT4 is still better than RAM Rebel.
Can someone explain to me how come some of the Rebel’s red/blk interiors on reviews have backs and bottoms fully red and some don’t? I recently ordered a 2022 Rebel and requested red/blk interior but now idk which one I am getting cause some review videos have the red backs and bottom but some don’t…I honestly prefer it like the one shown in this video than the red backs, but now I honestly don’t know what I will be getting.
Since you can't delete DEF anymore is it even worth it? Or better to go with an older model you can delete the DEF system. Honest question. You think that's the reason you do not often see new diesels on the road?
Awesome video. Agree that the multi-function tailgate isn't great looking. What actually sold me on not getting this was the loss of "RAM" across the tailgate. Prefer the actual RAM lettering versus the Ram logo.
Just curious why does everyone want a short bed? Not just Ram, but every manufacturers aren't offering the bigger beds unless you get a single or quad cab trucks. I couldn't find a truck useful unless it has a 6/4 bed at the very least.
My 2019 has sun/moon roof but not trailer brakes and cloth in between leather on seats. I would say 19 though if you are trying to save money. Not major differences
Ben, can you go over the air suspension on RAM trucks? What are the advantages, disadvantages? I'm considering getting a 1500 RAM, but I want to lift it, so I'm not sure if getting an air suspension would be a good idea. Thank you.
If you want to lift it don’t get the air suspension too many problems otherwise if you’re planning on towing quite a bit and leaving it stock height then do
Jerome Proctor I have a 2007 RAM 1500 Quad Cab with the HEMI and I have just over 131,000 miles without any issues with my transmission.I had some AC work done last year but that’s been my biggest issue so I purchased it New.
So for 2020 ram introduced the black appearance package to other paint colors than just black. You can get silver, red, white, grey and black with the black appearance package. But for the 2020 rebels you can only get the black appearance package with black paint which I I think is the stupidest thing ever.
tell yeh what else is stupid, i just ordered 2020 laramie, night pack in billet silver , my 1st motor choice was the 5.7MDS motor, when checking that box , you can not get the level 2 package, you must take the 5.7 hemi E torque motor , WTF , so i took the 5.7 E torque Motor , not a fan ,but maybe , , just a maybe , i did hear good reviews on the tech that went in to that dealer tells me after 2023 you will not be able to shut the stop start feature EPA SHIT ,,,, spanked again !
Stuart Fredericksen do some research yourself. It took me 5 seconds to type in „ram import australia“ and there is a full page of exactly what you are looking for...
I have the multi function tailgate on my 2019 Laramie Sport and I cannot get a Tonneau cover. If you look at the the back of the bed you will corner braces which won't allow you to install the rails for any type of Tonneau cover. Major drawback, I would not have bought the truck I got had known that at the time of purchase
ANTHONY CARMICHAEL Happy I did NOT Waste my money on an extended warranty when I purchased my new 2007 RAM 1500 Quad Cab because it would have been money down the toilet.I have had far less issues with that truck than any CHEVY I ever owned and that was several.
Hello! You should put every single feature on your description box! From price ranges to things other levels of the same model do not have, like what doss the 1500 limited version has that this does not have...just a suggestion, even if you mention it on the video you should put them down on the box right below the video screen
@@AAA-hv3gl That is what I was trying to figure out is if the 2020 model added. Not sure why they wouldn't when the Laramie has it. I need it in the South.
Best thing I ended up loving but thought I would hate is the dial shift. And have you noticed all the nice $80k to $100+k vehicles all have it now. Anyway, why not grab a tit instead of a shaft lol.
Ben Hardy if it was just the accents around the radio and other things it looks cool. But the door panels it’s too much for me. I usually like all black everything.
15 mph city and 21 mpg highway, lol, no way. Not with 33" tires and 3.92 rear axle. FCA used the blanket EPA numbers for all RAM 1500s, which is inaccurate. Those mpg numbers were done with street tires and 3.21 rear axle. FCA could have done an exception on the Rebel mpg figures if they wanted, but didn't. One right thing GM did right with the Silverado is they did an exception on the mpg for the Silverado Trail Boss to reflect more realistic mpg.
@@Martin4Jimenez I can get 19 mpg with my Rebel on the highway if I keep it pretty easy, still a bit away from the 22 mpg on my sticker. Also, get 10 mpg pure city, still pretty far from my 15 mpg city. I get about 14 mpg mixed, but I live in a pretty hilly area with lots of elevation changes. However, I expected these mpg because I know these vehicles and wheel/tire and axle ratio can do. FCA should't put a 15 city / 22 highway rating on a Rebel, it's not possible.
2019 kind of sucks in the ac department. Takes awhile to cool the cabin and even longer to heat. And once its hot if you want it to get cooler, that even takes awhile. Hot air will just continue to blow for a minute or 2 until it cools. Not a huge deal but when y get off the jobsite and its 100 degrees it would be nice to cool that sucker down faster.
@@BenHardyCars no off road package here , this hemi is coming with 22 inch matte black rims, ahh so yeh know ,i went 4x2 wheel, was 90 percent street , never used it ,along with a sunroof Passed on both , live in florida ,this will work for me . i drove one , no air suspension , and it was very smooth and they sit decently high for 2 wheel.,,,love the sport hood.
The Rebel is a rip off, get a Laramie with off road group. Or wait for the TRX, which is based off the Limited. For some reason, Ram thought no cooled seats in a 60k truck is ok. It's not. Ram is still the best truck, they screwed up on this trim.
@@BenHardyCars oh many like them however if the vehicle is hit or rolls... all that glass will come through the cab like a shredder and slice everything up... A person who had a regular sun roof slid off the road hit a tree and the glass roof came into the cab he spent all night in the cab with snow coming in... i know there will be those keyboard junkies that will disagree with what i said however i survived 30 yrs as a first responder ...i seen what damage cars take when hit rolled etc... now fords version of the the panel roof leaks a lot never heard anything about a ram....
Not even close! Friend owns a ‘17 and my Raptor leaves him in the dust on & off road. Dial shifter is a non starter for the enthusiast plus e-brake setup is useless off road. No 360 camera & under powered for a Hemi. Off road capability versus Raptor is a joke. Nothing out there that competes with Raptor direct from the factory.
